Walked in my wife and I were completely overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. Thankfully our contractor had us scheduled to meet with Nan. First off we both known what we like but like I said it was overwhelming. Nan is one of the few people I've had the privilege to work with that listened, gave honest feedback that aligned to our ultimate goal while at the same time opening our eyes to design options we weren't aware of. Having the task of selecting such an important foundation that will ultimately result in the success or failure of such a huge undertaking could have been a nightmare. With the guidance and support from Nan we were able to finalise our selections for all 4 bathrooms in 2 hours while having fun and being excited the whole time. Thanks Nan for turning a potential nightmare into a stepping stone of excitement for the end game, we're truly grateful.

The quality of products that The Tile Shop sells is superb and everything shipped and arrived with no issues. Thank you Nan and Daniel, the store manager. Superb Job! SUMMARY: Incredibly professional, incredibly thorough, and incredibly competent. We are so lucky…read morethat we did a little bit more searching when our almost-flooring guy wasn't very responsive and we gave Design Floors an opportunity. Glad we did. 5 enthusiastic stars! BACKGROUND: We were recommended to a flooring company by our realtor and I got frustrated by the untimely communication between us and his company. Finally I made the decision w/ my wife to end it right then and there and set an appointment with Siegfried (owner) who was very professional and sounded very competent over the phone. COMMUNICATIONS Let me tell you how impressed we were. After my initial phone call w/ Siegfried, I set an appointment and asked my wife to reconsider and meet Design Floors. Siegfried was always on the spot with anything we asked for. He even provided samples for my wife to take back to our new home and we laid them out on our floor to decide. We finally settled on a color and made an installation appointment. One thing we appreciated is how fast he would answer our questions. If it wasn't by phone, it would be text. INSTALLATION / CREW My wife was representing us at our home and keeping her keen eye on things. She was especially pleased, and as a former corporate interior designer, she knows where companies/contractors will short cut installs. According to her, they did everything right. We put in vinyl flooring throughout the entire home except the master bathroom (we have pets; i have bad allergies) and it looks gorgeous. Because our house was completely empty, they were able to finish our 2,400 sq ft home in 3 days. Might be longer if you have furniture. The crew was led by a man named Elly (sp?) and he and the guys were very respectful of our home and took care to make sure things were clean after every day. They took away all the refuse from the demo and took away boxes and other misc sundries after each work day. Siegfried arranged the plumber whose prices were competitive with market rate. There was an accident (small hole in wall) while moving a piece of heavy furniture but Siegfried decided to take care of it on his own dime. Wow, we were impressed! PRICING Speaking of pricing, his rates were competitive with the 3 other shops I called for estimates. PICS These are just a few shots. Our place looks amazing and we can't wait to move in!

We needed to replace the carpet in several room and were dreading the process of going to multiple…read morestore to shop for carpet, finding what we wanted and then having multiple people come to the house for measurements, wait for installation, move furniture, etc, etc, etc. First step was to look for carpet companies in the Keller / Southlake / North Richland Hills area as we wanted to buy local. We also looked at the warehouse / home improvement stores. After visiting a couple of local carpet stores and one of the home improvement stores in the area, I came across Floor Covering International in Southlake ( https://southlake.floorcoveringsinternational.com ). They were local and would bring samples to your home. We gave them a call and set up a time for them to come to the house. Joe came to the house with a large selection of carpets and we were able to quickly find the carpet we wanted and provided a verbal cost. Joe followed up with a written quote later that day and we set up a date for installation. Joe also arranged for his installation team to move the furniture for a fee, which made the process very easy. The installation team showed up on time, moved the furniture, took out the old carpet and started the installation. Joe stopped by to check on the installation and spotted a problem, the padding was the standard foam padding versus the upgraded padding we had selected. Joe was able to get the upgraded padding while the team finished taking out the old carpet. They finished up the installation, in less then eight hours, moved all the furniture back and cleaned up the mess. What we expected to be a big complicated project turned out to be a very easy process to update our home. We love the new carpet and the upgraded padding was a great choice for a very plush feel. We highly recommend Floor Covering International of Southlake. If you need new floors and are looking for a great experience give them a call.
