    I have had a tough time dealing with circumstances that are out of my control. I was involved in an accident where the other driver totaled my car and this time the other insurance company Progressive have taken several weeks to send me my money and they have not sent it. While they did say the check is on the way, it's going to take time for the check to clear. The general manager for Fitzway Ale Toueg has been very rude to me through email. First, he treated me like a child and told me that I needed to come over and deal with the issue like I don't have things to do or I'm not already trying to handle the situation by calling everyday to have them sending me my money. The next thing he does is threaten me with sending the $2,000 to collections. $5,000 of which, my Aunt has already paid the company and I have already sent Ale Toug a letter saying that I am going to get that money. After telling him that I tried communicating with them today, Ale then doesn't respond with politeness, or with professionalism, or say, hey I will try and do whatever we can to serve you (The customer), he then sends a one sentence email saying that my $2,000 will go to collections. The reason why I am writing this email. Is that before I bought the Transit, Ale, who I believe is the General Manager, has acted extremely nice to me, and then after dealing with this issue he has changed his script by being very rude and since I can't return the vehicle. I am stuck with dealing with him. Lastly, I am a disabled business owner, who has social anxiety and a learning disability. Dealing with phone calls and dealing with people over the phone is very hard for me but I have done everything on my end and I feel that I am being punished for something that is out of my control.

    Terrible sales. Terrible service. If you buy a car here, just hope it NEVER needs washer fluid. These guys just don't care...

    Does anyone know if this is the location that does car seat safety checks once a month? I checked on KISS (Kids In Safety Seats) and they referred me to Fitzgerald Auto Mall on Nicholas Lane, but I think it might have been a typo. Can anyone confirm?

    Yes, this where the once a month car seat check is. Next check is this Thursday the 18th from 10am-12:30pm. We also over checks by appointment at all our locations during the week.

    I had scheduled a 9:30 a.m. appointment to have a key FOB programmed. When my husband brought the…read morecar in, he was informed that in addition to the key FOB programming, there was also a recall update and software update needed for the vehicle. The recall and software update were completed in less than 30 minutes. However, over the next six hours, he was repeatedly told by both Lynn Pittmon and Naty Ruiz that "they are almost done," "the vehicle is not finished yet," and "it should be finishing up soon." Six hours later, after hearing the same vague responses, I began calling the service department myself. My calls repeatedly went to voicemail, and I was unable to reach anyone. I was eventually connected to a supervisor in Gaithersburg, who also attempted to contact that location and could not get anyone to answer. I ultimately drove to the dealership myself to find out what was going on. At that point, I was finally told the truth: the Hyundai FOB programming machine was down and had not been working. Meanwhile, my husband had been sitting there for six hours under the false impression--because that is exactly what he had been told--that the vehicle would be ready any minute. Had your service department simply been honest from the beginning, he would have left and returned another time. Instead, because of the misinformation and lack of transparency, we lost an entire day and had to cancel plans to leave town that morning for a weekend away. Even more frustrating, someone could and should have called us before the 9:30 a.m. appointment to let us know the machine was down, sparing us the wasted trip altogether. To make matters worse, during the six hours he sat waiting in your dealership, my husband overheard sales staff openly disparaging customers and making comments such as, "she doesn't even know what she's signing." Hearing employees speak so disrespectfully about customers was shocking and incredibly revealing. This entire experience was dishonest, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. We were repeatedly misled, our time was treated as if it had no value, and the professionalism we expected from Fitzgerald Automotive was nowhere to be found. It helps to know their approach upfront - no negotiation, no hassle or high pressure. Was interested in and test drove a 2010 Toyota Camry that was exactly as advertised and pictured on their Web site and was immaculately detailed. They had absolutely no issue with me taking it to my mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection, which it passed with flying colors. My dealings with KAS spanned a Friday and Monday, so I ended up dealing with both Rick and Henry. I received courteous, informed attention from both. Have had the car for almost a month and it has been great. This is a small-scale operation with a carefully selected inventory. If you are in the market for a used car in their sweet spot (probably $6-17K) I highly recommend you check them out. I usually buy my cars new and drive them for a long time, so I was a bit anxious about dealing with used car salesmen. KAS put my concerns to rest - I'd do business with them again anytime and have recommended them to friends.
