At no point did she mention any other needed communication, including a contract or deposit to pay. I thought this was odd, but she assured me all would be fine. It is now the day of and I spoke with her this morning to confirm everything. She said she would send me an invoice, told me what time I could be there and even asked if our artist would be willing to host these events regularly. An hour later I get professionally crafted email (which she has NEVER spoken to me in this way) telling that since I failed to get this event approved or send in a contract or pay beforehand AND because she is double-booked, my event is summarily CANCELLED. I have promoted this event, collected payment and to cancel with less than FIVE HOURS to go is not just unprofessional but is close to criminal. Carolyn refused to answer my calls, her staff hung up on me and all she did was send me an email stating she has to be "fair and consistent". Fair to whom?? The pricing on Sacramento Balloon Co.'s website seemed really reasonable for renting a tank compared to the pricing of buying a highly rated helium tank online. I called Sacramento Balloon Co. to reserve a helium tank and the phone was answered really quickly. It was a quick call in which my questions were answered about sizing of the tanks and my tank was reserved for pick up the day before the party. On day of pick-up, I arrived on time and conveniently parked in the lot right in front of the business. I walked in and was greeted shortly thereafter by the same man who I believe I talked to on the phone. The store has various styles balloons for sale and a small selection of party items as well. My helium tank was ready for me by the register and I was quickly but thoroughly shown how to use the helium tank and recommended to lay it down on the car floor board while transporting it. We also talked about the types of balloons I was planning on filling up and learned a couple things about balloons during the process. I paid for the tank rental (including a refundable charge) and was on my way. The day of the party, the tank worked as expected and everything went smoothly! I dropped the tank off exactly one week after picking it up. At this time I was refunded the refundable charge for dropping it off. I understand that this company has been in business for a long time, but has been under its current ownership for about a year. I feel compelled to write this review because I booked All About Fun, Inc. for a company picnic for nearly 300 people despite the two negative reviews on Yelp. One review was from 2012 and the other was from 2010. My event was on Sunday, June 1st, 2014. I have never rented a bounce house before. I was asked to help plan a party for my company's employees and their families, and to take care of renting bounce houses and Zorb balls. Zorb balls are those clear "human hamster balls" that people climb into and run around in. I did a fair amount of internet searching for local bounce house companies; a lot of the web sites are not that great so I had to use my own judgment and go with my gut. All About Fun, Inc. is one of the only companies I found that had both the Zorb balls and bounce houses, which is ultimately why I decided to take a chance on them. I am now very glad I did. I reserved a large bounce house, called a 5-in-1, a toddler bounce house, and two Zorb balls. We also arranged for a generator and two attendants for the Zorb balls to be sure they were used correctly. I received an e-mail late the night before the event telling me that the bounce house we reserved was damaged at an event earlier in the day and asking if it would be okay for them to substitute a larger 7-in-1 bounce house with a larger slide instead. I let them know that was fine and appreciated the communication. I arranged for All About Fun to arrive at the event site at 11:30 the morning of the event, which was to start at 1:00 p.m. The event was scheduled to end at 5:00 p.m. and the items were to be broken down and taken away at the conclusion of the event. I arrived on site just before 11:15 a.m., and the folks from All About Fun were already there, ready to set up. Once they got their equipment to the set-up spot, they got right to work. The equipment was all set up just as the event was about to start, and my own children were among the first to arrive with my husband. They immediately tried out the bounce houses and the Zorb balls. The toddler bounce house, with a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme, was huge! It was also brand new, had never been used and adorable. Needless to say, it was clean. I had separate bounce houses so the very small children wouldn't get run over by the bigger kids, and it was a hit. There were areas to bounce, climb and slide, perfect for any kid from maybe 18 months to 4 years. The 7-in-1 bounce house was also huge, and appeared to be very clean. I envisioned this one for the 4-12 year old kids, but even some of the smaller kids climbed into that one and went down the bigger slide. This bounce house also had a climbing area on the way to the slide, and a small inflated basketball hoop inside the bounce area with a little ball for it. I didn't have any qualms about letting my children play in the bounce houses. Both were clean, and both were in brand new or nearly new condition. The Zorb balls were also new, and I was told they had only been used once before a few days prior to our event. All About Fun actually sent us three attendants, all of whom worked quite hard on a hot day in full sun to be sure everyone was safe and had fun. I very much recommend having attendants with the Zorb balls to be sure people use them properly, particularly if you are hosting a company event. The service was very good and our event was a hit. The bounce houses and Zorb balls were a big part of keeping upwards of 50 kids as well as many teenagers and adults entertained. I offered to be a reference for All About Fun and they have my information if anyone has any questions about my experience. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We understand mistakes happen and there are malfunctions, but in an industry like this when you are hosting a large party and your product is the highlight of the event you better be sure your product is rock solid. We used her for the tnt blast to reveal our babies gender. Sadly the blast was a dud. Our guests along with us were left confused initially. When we questioned Malika she said one of our kids may have caused the wires to become disconnected. She also went on to say she has never worked with event which had kids at a gender reveal. Not once were we told that the wires were sensitive or to not step on them. Only instruction we were given was don't push down too soon because the TNT blast box was sensitive. We took the excuse she gave us for the failure at face value and left it alone, but after further review of all the photos and video along with surveillance footage in my back yard I could clearly see neither one of my kids stepped on a wire during the reveal count down, and this was simply a error on her part and she took 0 accountability.
