Ashley is a true creative genius. She brought my vision for my engagement party to life and elevated it far beyond what I imagined. The décor was breathtaking! Every detail was thoughtful and flawless, and our guests were blown away. I've now used her multiple times in the past year, and every single experience has been above and beyond. I've recommended her to friends and family because I genuinely only trust their events in her hands . That's how exceptional her work is. I reached out 5 days before my event and she was able to fit us in and the results were fabulous! She responded quick to my message, we texted a bit about what I wanted, communication was great. She arrived around 8am to set up (party started at 1) and came back the next day to get all her things. Price was very reasonable esp compared to comps. And best of all, I was free to do other things instead of spending hours decorating & making balloon arches. I would chose them again in a heart beat!

She arrived exactly on time, set up in like 2 minutes and literally worked her tail off for 1 1/2. We had way more kids than we were expecting and she made these awesome detailed balloons for every kid and even managed to do face masks for 15 kids in like 40 minutes. She agreed to stay 30 minutes over our arrangement (I paid her) without missing a beat. All of my guests commented on how amazing the balloon creations were. She was worth every penny! I sent contact information via the website and ultimately had a conversation with Carolyn on 10/14/2024 for a 11/22/2024 event. She confirmed space, time and availability and confirmed the date. At no point did she mention any other needed communication, including a contract or deposit to pay. I thought this was odd, but she assured me all would be fine. It is now the day of and I spoke with her this morning to confirm everything. She said she would send me an invoice, told me what time I could be there and even asked if our artist would be willing to host these events regularly. An hour later I get professionally crafted email (which she has NEVER spoken to me in this way) telling that since I failed to get this event approved or send in a contract or pay beforehand AND because she is double-booked, my event is summarily CANCELLED. I have promoted this event, collected payment and to cancel with less than FIVE HOURS to go is not just unprofessional but is close to criminal. Carolyn refused to answer my calls, her staff hung up on me and all she did was send me an email stating she has to be "fair and consistent". Fair to whom?? Stay FAR AWAY from either of these businesses as they are NOT well run!

    Words are not enough to express the level of customer service we experienced with Shelah and her…read moreamazing staff. From my initial inquiry, Shelah was responsive and helpful. The original date was taken, but she called me back to let me know the date had become available, which immediately showed her attention to detail and willingness to support. I was given one month to source a venue that met all of my client's requirements, and this event space offered that and more. My client needed a venue close enough to the conference location, while also being accessible for guests traveling on their own. 1422 The Blvd checked those boxes. Let's start with communication. Shelah was prompt, helpful, and willing to work around the clock to ensure all of my questions were answered in a timely manner. The client portal was also great. Everything from scheduling a virtual tour to booking an in-person tour was simple. I was able to view the property through the 360-degree venue tour, which honestly sold me. When I arrived for the in-person tour, I was curious how it would work since I am used to touring with a site manager. But I simply texted Shelah, the door opened, and we stayed on the call while she helped orient me through the space and answer my questions. The venue was clean, open, and an easy blank canvas for about 100 guests comfortably if seated. What I really liked was the option to merge the indoor and outdoor space with the beautiful glass garage door. I wish we could have used it for this event, but we plan to come back next year and hope to open the space up then. They also have ample parking, with overflow parking behind a beautiful wooden gate that is closed off from the public. I especially appreciated that the private entry was able to accommodate an executive coach bus for 36 passengers. That was a logistical concern for us, but Shelah and her staff helped provide the best route to prevent congestion on the main street. Having her staff onsite was extremely helpful. I also appreciated that we did not have to source outside equipment rentals. The venue offers rentals at an additional cost, and if you know anything about planning events, you know delivery and pickup fees can add up quickly. Having rentals onsite helped us avoid those extra fees and created a cost savings of a few hundred dollars. I would definitely recommend using their in-house rentals. They also use HoneyBook to manage contracts, invoices, communication, and rentals, which made the process easy and organized. On the day of the event, we hired Shelah's staff to assist with setup. A lot of our staff were coming from out of the area and did not have the capacity to assist with setup. I shared with my client that utilizing the venue staff would save us time, and I'm so glad we did. We were able to share our desired floorplan, receive feedback on the best layout, and arrive to the event with everything already set up. All we had to do was place arrangements on the tables and set up the welcome sign. All vendors arrived before both my client and I did, and with remote access, they were able to set up before our arrival, which made the day run smoothly. This venue is truly a hidden gem. The pricing was competitive for the value, and the location is excellent--central to downtown, about 8 minutes from Arden Mall, and approximately 10-12 minutes from downtown Sacramento. I look forward to working with Shelah and her team again and will definitely be sending clients her way.

Each time Shelah and her team have been responsive, supportive, and thorough. The venue space is beautiful and a great location; a great asset to the North area and Del Paso Blvd. Looking forward to attending and hosting events here in the future.
