Jason is professional, courteous, thoughtful and friendly - everything a wedding DJ should be. What…read moreI love most about him is that not once did he pressure me to book and he took the time to listen to my wedding wish list. He also did not make any assumptions about the big day, like he NEVER said "Well you'll want to have your cake cutting music blah blah blah," We're having pies and cupcakes - not cake. I appreciate that he listened to me first and made suggestions later. He really should be called a DJ/mini-wedding music planner because Jason is SO organized. When discussing the flow of events, he pulled out this amazing fill-in the blank music time line and showed me a check-off list of songs. If you book with him, he gives a book and other goodies to help you plan out what you want for music. Although he did not have a demo or mix I could listen too, he did take the time to provide me with references that I could call and ask questions. He seems very trustworthy, not shady at all and he strikes me as being fairly laid back yet professional and able to get down to business on the dance floor.

Jeremy was absolutely AMAZING and truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We had…read moreso many guests come up to us throughout the night and even after the wedding complimenting him and telling us how incredible the music was. Our wedding brought together Persian, Mexican, and American families, and Jeremy blended Persian, Mexican, and English music together perfectly. His mashups were amazing, every transition was seamless, and he knew exactly how to read the room and keep everyone on the dance floor. One of my favorite stories from the night was something I didn't even find out about until after the wedding. My aunt, who traveled all the way from Mexico, asked Jeremy if he could play "La Chona." I had told him beforehand that I didn't want guests making song requests, so he kindly let her know that the bride wasn't allowing requests. But once he realized she had traveled all the way from Mexico, he went back up to her and basically said, "There's no way you traveled all the way from Mexico and aren't going to dance to La Chona!" He played it, and everyone was dancing! The funny part is I actually LOVE La Chona and had completely forgotten to add it to my playlist! I'm SO glad Jeremy made the decision to play it. I didn't know any of this happened until my aunt told me afterward, and hearing that made me so happy. That moment says so much about Jeremy. He genuinely cares about his couples and their families, reads the room, and knows when to trust his instincts to create a special moment. And Jeremy was so much more than just our DJ. Wedding planning can be incredibly stressful, and there were times when he literally talked me through my stress and made me feel like everything was going to be okay. My dad was also really nervous about giving his speech, and Jeremy took the time to talk to him and reassure him. My dad ended up doing AMAZING, and that meant so much to me. Jeremy always told me, "Don't worry, I got you." BELIEVE HIM. He also told us, "We could do your wedding tomorrow." Believe that too!! He knows exactly what he's doing. Everything was perfect. The music, the energy, the mashups, the transitions, the way he handled our multicultural families, and most importantly, the way he treated us and our guests. Jeremy is incredibly talented, but he's also genuinely such a kind person who cares about making your wedding everything you want it to be. We truly couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Thank you, Jeremy, for making our wedding night so much fun and so unforgettable.

We don't often leave reviews for other vendors (though we should) but we wanted to specifically point out a few things about Makenna that were noteworthy: *Her communication and organization before the wedding was superb. She was very clear and concise and her timeline was super detailed and well organized (we cannot say the same about all timelines we get from planners) *On the day of the event, she was very composed and relaxed! This may seem like a strange thing to point out, but this is the mark of someone who is good at what they do. It's not that she is "chill" or "doesn't care" it's because she's done her legwork and due diligence before the event to make sure that the day of goes smoothly *She goes above and beyond! There were a few venue issues that were solely the fault of the venue and no one else, Makenna immediately stepped in to help rectify these. She even got in her car and did a run to grab ice mid event (who does that???). Overall she is a true pro and made our day (and our client's wedding) amazing! They helped us bring our vision to life while bringing up details neither of us had considered. If you are thinking about hosting a large holiday party, birthday party, anniversary party, etc. you should definitely contact them. Very reasonably priced and worth every penny. Longer version: We hired two servers from Angela at Your Service to staff our small (40ish people) wedding, which we held at a private home in Sacramento. We had never heard of the company, but it came highly recommended by a friend of mine who lives in Fair Oaks, and the price was right. We could not be more pleased with the friendliness, efficiency, professionalism, and work ethic of the two ladies (Rachel and Stephanie) they sent out to us. They were clearly well-trained, doing everything from plating and serving food, to refilling water pitchers and buffet items, to doing tons of dishes. We paid $20 per hour per server (plus a big tip, because we thought they were amazing) and it was such a fantastic investment in our sanity. We got to enjoy our guests and have a good time, and they took care of most of the background operations and clean up. I would never have thought to hire someone to help with an at-home party, but the value is so spectacular, that I don't think I can ever go back. My adorable wife and I were looking for a low cost way to celebrate Valentine's Day and our eight…read moremonth wedding anniversary. By pure coincidence, we both stumbled upon an Amador County Valentine's Day Wine tour. The six hour tour would depart Rancho Cordova via a luxury motor coach, and shuttle us to Amador County for a tour of three wineries. During the journey into Amador County, the hosts would serve beer and Mimosas (bringing your own bottle was also encouraged). With that being said, we were all in! As directed, we arrived at 9:45am sharp. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the host (Mrs. Rachelle), and her husband (Mr. Wyatt). We immediately boarded, and 15 minutes later we were on our way to Amador. Roughly 10 minutes into the trip, Rachelle & Wyatt began pouring Mimosas and offering little snacks (because we all know what happens when you drink on an empty stomach). During the 45 minute trek into Amador, we engaged in conversation with other couples on the bus (this is vital in a generation that doesn't prefer conventional interactions), while Rachelle and Wyatt mingled around the bus to ensure that everyone was fully accommodated. 45 minutes later we arrived at our first stop, Karmere winery. The staff at Karmere was extremely accommodating, and did a great job of providing some background information in regards to their winery and the overall Amador County wine tasting experience. We were so pleased by their customer service and their wine, that we purchased a couple of bottles. After an hour at Karmere, we left and headed to our next destination, Dobra Zemjla. Dobra Zemjla was a nice intimate environment, very Valentine's Day appropriate. They offered chocolates, cheese, and cheese-stuffed green olives to accompany the wine tasting. Although accommodating, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed with the crowd from our bus. After everyone made their way through the wine tasting menu, we all headed outside to the picnic tables for lunch. Rachelle and Wyatt had a full platter of sandwich options, drinks, and chips prepared for consumption. This gave everyone an opportunity to converse while soaking up some of their wine. After lunch, we packed up and headed to our last stop, Bella Piazza. Bella Piazza had a beautiful backyard vibe with an elevated view of Amador County. So beautiful of a view that we decided to conduct our wine tasting outdoors on the patio with some four other couples. In between wine tasting, we had an icebreaker at the table that set the tone for some hilarious revelations! The staff did a great job of quenching our thirst at the appropriate moments (some of us even received seconds of our favorite wine). Unfortunately, all great things come to an end, so an hour later we were on the bus heading back to Rancho Cordova. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the wine tour and most importantly, the services rendered by Rachelle and Wyatt. Throughout the tour they were professional and accommodating (due to their positive Yelp reviews, this came as no surprise). We met some great people, and may have actually met a new couple to hang out with (meeting likeminded people is always a difficult task)! We'll keep our eyes peeled for future Cain Events!

The bus did not arrive until after 10am, which put us behind 30 minutes, leaving at 10:30. The first winery was nice no complaints there, the second winery (where we ate lunch) was ok. The food was anything but filling, and the ladies organizing the event could have done a better job in dispersing the chips and water, our table always seemed to be skipped. Where we ate was outside in the cold which was anything but comfortable, it was not outside weather to say the least! I have to say if it was nice outside it would of been a better experience but if the weather was horrible and secondary plan needs to be executed. One small heater will not heat more than 30 people. I did like that they gave us snacks in between the bus rides! The camera man was amazing always trying to incite excitement within the group. On the bus the ladies were a bit unorganized with dispersing the snacks and sandwiches, they skipped people numerous times. The third winery was amazing!! Again they seated us outside so we froze! They had a fire place and it was not turned on! Lol oh well, overall there was a lot of wine. But for me the experience was not worth the price
