I'm rarely in the area but when I am and I need a juice or acai bowl this place is my go to. Friendly, patient, and seriously fit staff.

This is the only place that I am willing to go to 3x a week for a Very Berry Açaí Bowl. Sarah, who works in the Astoria Blvd location, makes the most amazing açaí bowls that I have ever tried. I make sure to go whenever she is working because she puts just the right amount of ingredients. You should definitely go try it but make sure to ask for Sarah read more

Stumbled across this place while taking my mom to the doctor and I am so impressed! The place has so many different options in terms of smoothies, juices, açaí bowls and various different bars/protein/kombucha. The staff is so nice and helpful with suggestions of what you should get ! My mom and I got the pick me up (something like that, it had strawberry, banana, blueberry and a choice of soy, almond, or regular milk!) We also added protein and it was DELICIOUS! I definitely want to go back and try the açaí bowls and other juices since I discovered this hidden gem! The service here is great, I will definitely visit again soon! I highly recommend coming here for healthy options that taste delicious. read more

Its always nice when you can get wheatgrass shots delivered to your apartment for that quick hangover cure. I placed an order via grub hub that was quoted an hour and they ended up showing up in half the time which was nice. The juice was fresh and still really cold. The prices are up there, but that's usually how it goes for juice. I would definitely order from them again, and maybe try the acai bowls next time. read more

Fitrition is truly something special! I've tried their Acai bowls, smoothies, and TPL meals and I've been more than satisfied each time. You have the option to create your own acai bowl which I really enjoyed. It was also big enough to bring home and have more later so that was a plus. The prepped meals are delicious and have soooo much flavor. My favorites are The Arnold and bbq pulled chicken one that I can't remember the exact name of. Now the protein shakes are the yummiest shakes I've ever had. I'm usually very picky when it comes to shakes but they make it perfectly every time. My go-to shakes are Thicker than a Snicker and my new favorite is Bunch of Oats. Lastly, the staff are always super friendly and great at giving recommendations. This is one of my favorite places and I'm always telling people about it! read more

I came into Fitrition to buy wheatgrass shots. It should've been easy and quick. Instead, there were two teenage workers completely ignoring the couple of people waiting for service. They were maskless (in a health store!) and it took a good 15 minutes for them to even acknowledge my presence. The store has a digital menu. The wheatgrass shots are listed as one for $3, two for $5. I asked for two shots and was told it would be $6. I pointed to the menu to show the girl the correct price. She turned around, looked, shrugged, and said it's $6. I walked out. Everyone who works at this store should be fired. read more

They used to be good but now you will get ignored when you walk in and the food you get made to order is not even good. Guess they got too big to care anymore.. Glad another place is opening I will bring them my buisness. Acai bowls should be cold and kept in the freezer or fridge when ordered in advance not on a counter. read more

I love getting acaí bowls here and they never skimp! They give fat scoops of nutella and really need i ask more?! I also love that you can order for pickup for even easier service. They do tend to get busy, and i will say the workers are a lil slower paced but wont stop me from those fat nutella scoops. Bone apple tea!9 read more

This place is amazing I come here after almost every workout. I've never had a bad experience with the customer service at the location. There was one time they didn't make my shake right, i didn't complain about it but i mentioned it the next time and the guy behind the counter was very apologetic and made it perfectly the next time and upgraded the size of my drink at no charge for the inconvenience. I will always come here. read more

This place is pretty good but service is a bit slow as there's only 2 people taking orders, making all the bowls and shakes and answering the phone... The premade food isn't bad but the Salmon from the Buddah bowls is def not deboned. I spent a lot of the time taking the bones out and being careful to eat it. Their Bomb Tuna is incredible along with their Salmon with Farfalle pasta. I'd get that every time I go! Also, how is this a Fitness place but have absolutely no nutrition facts on the shakes, bowls or food online or anywhere else? The premade food gives you macros but everything else they make is a guessing game. I find that a little weird. I track calories like many others so its hard to figure out what Im eating when I go here. Overall its a great place if you don't mind spending some money lol but the quality of the food is great and the bowls are pretty good and tasty. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. Some good music playing as well. read more

Love the acai bowls!!!! I always get it with the chocolate chips and fruits! So good. They always put a lot of fruit so they never skimp. Took one star off because the consistency of the acai isn't always the same. Sometimes it's thick which I like , but sometimes it's more blended so it's more watery. But friendly staff and this place is clean so definitely would return. read more

ordered a pitaya bowl online. The bowl itself is yummy and tasty, although kinda expensive for $11 when the size is a very small plastic container. Probably wouldn't order from here again because NONE of the employees working there that day, were wearing their mask correctly. None of their noses were covered, and with COVID19 cases increasing in many parts of Queens, I just don't feel comfortable visiting a food store where no one wears their mask correctly (AND there were four other customers in the store with me). The whole point of the mask is to block respiratory droplets and virus aerosols from being spread around to other people (& to protect employees as well). If your nose isn't covered... there's absolutely no point in wearing a mask. it's just a decorative chinstrap at that point read more

As a first time consumer I have to say I was over all impressed. The space is clean, organized and the staff is well versed and educated in their products, meals, and shakes. I am all about customer service and the ability to be attentive and patience. The staff member who helped me was kind and Super professional. I left with an awesome protein shake and plan to return! Great work guys! Stay gold and maintain your high quality standards. Terrible service. Too many times have gone in there to customers hanging out and talking to cashier.

Came here because I was in the area and had heard good things. We had the Queens and Bayside bowls. They had a nice dragonfruit base topped with fresh fruits, they definitely did not go light on the toppings which was great. The staff was professional and handled the orders in a timely fashion. I rarely give positive reviews but after a year of coming here i can say i trust this place. I park outside the lot, cause i don't feel like being threatend by the Asian liquor store owner (don't shop there) next door with being towed, but the place is worth walking a bit for. It can get busy but the staff works hard and is pleasant. The place is clean. The delivery via Seamless app has been actually faster during the quarantine than pre-apochalypse. The owner, i believe his name is Mike, seems to be on top of his game. Thank you Fitrition for offering a healthy choice in the neigh read more

My go-to for acai, pitaya bowls and shakes! This place has gotten me addicted to them. They have a great variety of options to choose from. You can also come here to buy protein, bars, vitamins, and prepped meals. The only negative thing is that the parking lot is really annoying because a lot of the spaces are reserved for different businesses. read more

My go-to acaí bowl place is in Roslyn... Fitrition is great because it is right around the block from where I live and they're open pretty late! (9 pm on weekdays and 7 pm on Saturdays) Fitrition offers a variety of options - acaí bowls, pitaya bowls, smoothies, juices, shakes, and a "build your own bowl" option. They also offer a meal plan section in one of their fridges. I got a BYOB with acaí, bananas, strawberries, granola and honey. DELICIOUS! The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the bowl is only about 65% filled. My bowl cost about $11 which is pretty average as far as acaí bowls go, but was only filled halfway with acaí and the rest with fruit. There was still a lot of space at the top! Regardless, it was still very tasty and will probably be coming back. read more

Have been coming here for a few months Bayside is the best !!!! Fresh fruits always the staff is super friendly . I love the Queens bowl and I always throw some shredded coconut on the top. The coco loco is delicious as well! Best drink is the Apple Lemonade must try! I am a fruit lover and I usually hate juice and fit places like this but the whole place doesn't make you feel like you don't belong. I love açaí and ever since I went to Brazil I know açaí - and a lot of places really don't know what fresh açaí is. Bayside Fitrition does! The fruit is never old they cut them fresh. I went to one of their other locations and everything tasted like it had been made for hours already... bleh. Bayside actually makes it all fresh and they have quick and easy pick up or delivery as an option. They are in a small shopping center so you can usually find parking easily They always have fun vegan and gluten free treats in the store for those conscious eaters ! read more

When I was in Queens more often I used to come here a lot. Decent selection of supplements and other healthy products but came here mostly for the fresh made to order items, although I do love the protein popcorn in the basket up near the register. Love the oatmeal cups here, all the flavors are good. My favorite is the peanut butter but the chocolate chip and apple cinnamon are tasty, even the one with the raisins. Acai bowls are great, I usually pick off the menu but you can create your own too, still have yet to try the pitaya. Smoothies are good, would usually get the chocolate peanut butter one or a basic if I'm cutting weight and need something quick and easy. Super convenient to pick up The Prepped Life meal prep items, just depends on when you go what selection they will have. Store is clean and organized and staff is friendly. read more

Worst service? Or racism? Im asian-american for the reference. I was the only asian in the shop. I visited the place this morning and ordered blueberry, strawberry and banana smoothie with base of water. (I didn't want milk or protein, because i'm pregnant) As soon as I ordered, phone rang, and she started to help out the phone order. I was standing there embrassing, cuz the order wasnt processed and i didnt pay for my smoothie. Then, i guess the "OWNER" came to register and start helping the lady that was after me. She could have ask me if i was being helped or not. So i waited, and told the "OWNER" that i was not being helped. No feed back nor apologie. I ordered again, and i wanted the base to be water, and she looked at me and said "no milk or protein???" Like she couldnt understand. I AM SO EMBRASSED STILL NOW. the service was the worst. The smoothie? You could make it at home, and still have better flavor. I'm talking about your so called "TOP QUALITY SERVICES" that you guys provided to me. Thanks read more

I recently discovered this spot even though I've probably passed by it a million times before and it's my new favorite spot when I'm feeling healthy. Great to have after a gym session or just on the run! Their shakes and açaí bowls are so good and you can customize anything although their menu staples are already amazing! I've been getting the powerhouse bowl a lot because it already has protein in it and it's so yummy! I would also recommend the bunch of oats shake! read more

I was super excited to come try fitrition after my friend told me about it a few months ago! I've been trying lots of acaí bowls since the craze started this past year and this is one of the only ones around in the neighborhood/Queens in general. I got a pitaya (dragon fruit) based bowl because I prefer that to the taste of the acaí. The one I tried was on the menu as the dragon bowl: banana, blueberries, strawberries, granola, and chia seeds. I wanted some peanut butter too so I splurged and paid $1 more for PB. The bowl was bigger than most and very tasty! I also picked up one of the meal prep containers for lunch-- chicken fajita. It was very tasty, but I felt slightly skimped on the sides (it was supposed to come with a salsa, but mine didn't have it). Overall, I enjoyed both my items and will return when I feel like treating myself to a little more expensive breakfast/lunch! read more

I ordered 3 açaí bowls this morning. An hour later I got a text my order was cancelled. I called and was told that the driver never came to pick up my delivery. I told them that I was charged for the order I never received! They said there was nothing they could do about it because they made the order and it was not their fault it was not picked up for delivery????. I spend almost $100 in this store EVERY WEEK because I take the açaí bowls to work for breakfast every day. Fitrition would not refund my money OR send me another delivery. They lost a customer that spends almost $5,000 per year there!!!! They were horrible to me on the phone and I wouldn't spend another penny there ever. I ordered from SoBol in Bay Terrace and for the same price the bowls were even better. If you treat people (especially one of your best customers) poorly you will lose the business. UPDATE Michael thank you for replying. I have read your review and it is not accurate. I spoke to someone at your store as I have stated and tried to work this out. Dismissing the issue as having nothing to do with your store is just wrong and poor customer service, especially when I have you a multiple choice to make it right. Refund or redeliver. Your store chose neither. read more
