Coach Jeff has taken a personal interest in helping me achieve that goal, and for that I will be forever grateful.

This place is OK…read more As usual, I don't enjoy that OTF promotes a very bizarre sort of mentality in its members. Most (like me) only arrive on the dot at class time and leave the studio immediately at class end time. It is no secret that I have had insane difficulty with making a single acquaintance at any OTF studio location. My review history supports this too. However, I'll rate up bc the location is convenient enough, parking is free and generous, and I get along w/ most of the coaches. Which is at least the bare minimum that one can ask for. The one thing I dislike about this or any other OTF studio is the insane high prices (for the unlimited tier I pay 180$ monthly) and also even despite paying monthly costs, it is impossible to meet anyone or make even an acquaintance to start. Life is brutal and OTF even more so. As said, to be fair I think this location is OK, and the coaches are friendly enough, most of the time. I will likely revisit but I don't hold any high hopes on forging social connections or meeting any worthwhile folks here.

My gf and I tried out the South Riding location! We really enjoyed the class. Our trainer…read moreChristian, during the 7:15am class, was wonderful! Walked up through what the company was, what to expect and checked in with us at the end of the class to explain the results chart. We felt fully engaged the whole time during the course. It was awesome that the course lasts 60 minutes and it's easy to work into busy schedules. The calories you burn are based upon what you put into the class, though I burned almost 600 calories for my first class. The only part my gf and I didn't like was waiting after the class to see the prices. The prices are pretty steep, $169/mth to go unlimited. The heart monitors are pretty steep as well $69 for the waist and $109 for the arm band. Apparently the prices vary based on promotions that are running. I went to work to ask my coworkers if any of them tried OT and someone from greenbrier OT said their club rate is $159 and he get's additional for first responder discount. So I started calling around to other clubs, since you are able to visit any of them without extra payments (except for city locations). Overall we had a great time checking out the gym. I like the OT concept and the group of customers they had were super supportive during our class. I am still shopping around for promotions and heart monitors to see if this could be a feasible replacement for my current workout plan.

I am a mom of three littles under the age of 5, and usually don't get time to myself/for myself, as…read morelife is so busy. My husband gifted me with Burn BootCamp membership last year--best gift ever! After hearing how amazing it was from friends and an excellent New Year Discount my New Year resolutions were solid. It was the most intense training I have had, as I started on cardio day. I brought my inhaler and had to use it, but it was SOO worth it! I came almost every day. During some sessions we are paired into teams/partners which really helped distract from the pain. But... with Pain comes gain! Because of back problems and having had a C-section made me need to let the trainers know and modify movement's, but within a week I felt so much stronger! I felt the physical strength to take care of my little ones (especially lifting) and had so much more energy to do household things. This is definitely a program for making you stronger not dropping loads of weight (food choices help more after getting more energy to not need sweets). I stopped feeling that crave for caffeine and didn't even want it, instead water fueled me, along with a protein shake at times (to help with recovery), and adding protein (nuts, yogurt, eggs, cheese ) into my habits. Not only are the trainers inspiring, but it is a great chance to meet people and have accountability during your fitness journey. When the promotion was over I quickly got sidetracked from my goals. Burn boot made it so much easier, and the trainers are so good at recommending stretches, healthier food substitutions, and encouraging you along the way! Totally would recommend to friends! Be prepared to be sore but cold showers and heat packs help in the begging, as you continue it gets Easier! Especially if you are consistent. The results speak for themselves!

Sweet stuff. I'm talking Group sessions, Structured workouts. Hallmark of the OT, and great…read moreall-around training model -- focus on getting to & staying in Orange Zone. So, I got recommended by a friend who goes to OTF -- no idea which studio he attends but that's def a talking point imo. FNT (for next time) and all dat. I a new member and been going for a week or two by now. I joined when they had that March promo going on. Promo sux TBH, but workout doesn't so. It's pretty solid / decent actually. One minus, they messed up setting up my profile (adding my HR beats thingy and made a typo on my e-mail which caused there to be a dupe one or something). Also price is a minus, they charge me way too much. Like bro I'm not made of money, I'm just a poor boy trying to lose some fat here. Lastly and a pain point of mine, none of the trainers stop you when you're doing something flagrantly stupid. I'm talking bursting past max heart rate and hovering around 200 BPM, which is dangerous I've recently learned. Now I'm going to take it easy and go 6-8 max on the treadmill, but a bummer as I wish the trainers (or anyone there) would start yelling and maybe slap some sense into you when they see something like that. Anyway, cool story of mine. I hope to stick around, I like losing calories and training weights, trainers are pretty decent, approachable and most are even nice, app is great all around no problems so far. High ten, OTF! Up high! Heck yeah. -- UPDATE (9/25/23): Updating my review to 3-stars because I've struggled with getting along with other members here, and I have yet to make a single acquaintance or friend here. Also, front desk people are not really kind to me and pointedly avoid my eyes at times. There is also something to be said about waitlists for a class. I booked a class last minute bc I was busy with an unavoidable chore, and spent 20 min. driving to the studio. Only to be told "don't procrastinate, book earlier" by head coach here, in response to the fact that the 20 min. drive was a waste of my time (and gas). This response irks me as well as the fact that I decided to "stick it to them" and proceeded to last-minute book the next class more than one hour later at 7pm at the South Riding location, and attended class that day there. Seriously, waitlists at this (the Ashburn) studio are brutal and just the worst. Coaches are uncompromising and never kind to me, and other members largely ignore me as a whole. If I can make at least one acquaintance I can consider bumping up the rating to a 5-star, but honestly I don't see that happening anytime soon, and so the rating sticks and the review stands as it is for now. UPDATE (10/31/23): it's gotten consistently better I feel, still have no friends at OTF and don't really know anyone at the work outs, but there was at least one day where I felt good and everyone was nice to me. Then today, last day of Hell Week -- also Halloween -- I dressed up in costume, and even just two people, the coach and studio manager, commented on it. None of the members did, then again everyone's a stranger so it's hard to build rapport. Anyway, updating my review to 4-star to be fair because I have had a pleasant experience with Ashburn as my home studio so far.
