He comes with power, encouragement and a joyful spirit. What I've come to realize I love most about this place is the friendliness of all the staffers. ((People in this area can be quite snobbish: you hold a door, they don't say thank you or even speak)), but the staffers speak all the time and try to get to know everyone. The majority of the people you'll be in class with are super friendly, encouraging, helpful, funny and gracious - which makes the journey (to whatever your goal is) so much better.

It's a fun class but at the same time it feels like an individual workout. If a particular exercise was too hard for me, there's no judgement when I modified it. (Hard pass on Burpies) The coaches were supportive, encouraging, and focused on helping you push yourself. They were all friendly, fun, and cared to know me as a person more than just a member. With the variety of coaches, you will find a coach that matches your style and needs. I found all of them great! (Thank you Nick, Lori, Tori, Jeffrey, Joelle and Sam!!!!) The workout combinations made me focus on punches rather than other life stresses. (It's hard to think about work when my brain is thinking 'jab, uppercut, slip, hook, hook' on repeat). I loved that my kids saw me grow stronger and healthier while there. They saw me and the female coaches as roll models for strength and power. I've become more confident, fitness focused, less stressed, powerful and skinner! To anyone considering joining- Do it! It is a great workout with great coaches in a welcoming supportive fun environment.

I can't get enough of it here…read more I tried it out for the first time yesterday. I've seen it before and was curious about what they had. I've been trying to put on weight and even though I do workout at home I won't build too much mass using only 5 pound weights. Actually when we were on our way there yesterday I almost chickened out because it was something new and I was scared to try it. I tried to convince my boyfriend we should just go back home. He convinced me to just try it. I had so much FUN. Wow. I loved seeing what I'm capable of and seeing what I could accomplish. Zach & Troy we're extremely helpful. I have back issues so they took the time to help me learn propper form and support me. They are motivating and just really put a pep in your step. I think one of the things that made me fall in love with this place is the community. I crave that. Especially after covid when we couldn't have human interaction. Everyone there is so friendly & motivates you. They want to help you succeed and grow. I would definitely recommend joining the team and see yourself get stronger but also mentally better.

However, look deeper: 1. Does your box only have cardio WODS with no real weight lifting to run larger classes in and out without a personal touch? Noble programming stays very true to the Crossfit mission: constantly varied and they do not shy away from weight lifting elements. In fact, I think they are more weight lifting focused than other boxes I have been to. 2. Does your box have 3 or 4 coaches available in EVERY class ensuring questions get answered, and form is meticulous? Probably not, every other box I have been to has had one coach at at time. Just try to get away with bad form...Ma will no-rep you in the warm-up! HA. 3. Is your box a place where normal people can show-up and feel welcome? Here everyone is welcome! I've seen all shapes, sizes, ages and ethnic groups at this box. What to expect if it's your first time coming? (new non-crossfit folks) Email Laura (owner) beforehand, let her know you are coming and when! When you come, she will meet with you personally to understand your goals. You will sign a waiver, and she will go over a few movements with you and see how you hit a few basic moves. You will warm-up with the regular class happening at the same time. Then you will go with Laura into a basic AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) to benchmark your progress--I don't want to give it all away, but it's fairly simple and fun, and will be the LONGEST 8 min of your life so far! HAHA. After this you will watch the class that is going on at the same time to understand what a day in the life of a member looks like. Then you come back to discuss next steps with Laura. See, nothing scary here--it's very welcoming and you will be glad you came!

You ever see those girls at your gym that tries to lift weights, but has absolutely no idea what…read moreshe's doing? Yup, that's me and I have no problem admitting that! If someone isn't there to guide me while lifting weights, well then I'm shit out of luck. Cardio workouts are the only thing I know. A few weeks ago I finally realized it was time to get my act together and learn how to do more than run on a treadmill or dance around a studio. My best friend's little sister has been a part of Noble Crossfit for over a year now and always tried to get me to join. I was mainly discouraged before because of the price tag, but thought if I maybe didn't go out to eat and drink EVERY weekend..then I can use that money to pay for Crossfit. Or I can pretend I'm a baller and do it all? Sounds like something I'd do. Then I compared it to getting a personal trainer, which essentially that's what Noble Crossfit offers. At my gym, they charge $80 PER SESSION for a personal trainer. That trainer better give me the body of Jen Selter in that session if I'm paying $80 an hour. So, yes..a membership at Noble Crossfit is overall a GREAT value. Anyways, Noble Crossfit has been great. Laura, Nathan, and Ma truly care that you're doing the work outs properly and will adjust to your capabilities. Seeing as I have basically no upper body strength or lifting experience, they really take the time out to show me the proper techniques and form. They, along with all the members, are not there to judge you. They are there to help you lead a healthier lifestyle, so you'll never get that judgmental vibe. Yes there will be members there that are far more experienced than you, but honestly..they're focused on their own workouts...not standing there to see how much you can lift. I love that they have the workout of the day, which presents a variety/combination of work outs. Every day that you come in, you're in for a new surprise. And sometimes what's listed on the board will make you want to run back to your car and go home, but then you realize to not get scared because the instructors will guide you through it all. Nothing is impossible. You just gotta work hard and you'll grow and see results from there. And no, Noble Crossfit is not a cult..like many people assume haha

After my consultation with Nicole, I immediately did a trial session and I loved it right away. At first I was hesitant to make a commitment, but I eventually did and got my husband to sign up as well. The workout: It's 20 min. once a week. There are lots of naysayers out there.. but it does work, my husband was skeptical too but now he is a believer. With that little time commitment, how can you say No. That 20 mins however, is probably the most intense 20 min of your week. My results: Of course.. you cannot have a huge body transformation, if you do not get your diet in check.. but I knew that - We love food - the good and bad kinds too. So without dieting or even eating healthier, my results so far: 1. Strong- each week I get stronger and stronger. Very useful for carrying large laundry bins up and down the stairs 2. Endurance and energy- I'm not out of breath after 3 trips up and down the stairs 3. No more pain- I've had on and off upper and lower back aches, pain in my fore arms and elbows.. All supposedly from sitting and typing away. I can't even remember the last time I had these pains. 4. Despite not hitting that BMI chart ... I'm less jiggly! The best part is that despite not having a drastic body transformation, my results have been so positive without sacrificing so much time, I am encouraged to eat healthier and continue on. My husband on the other hand.. In 3 sessions, you clearly see muscle definition and now after 12 weeks..amazing.

When I met Laura Crump Anderson she mentioned to me that she was a personal trainer at Inform…read moreFitness Leesburg. She gave me her card and offered a free mini-session anytime. I thought to myself, "Are personal trainers worth the price?" My exercise history has included many methods either for fun or to lose weight and stay fit, but I had never paid for a one-on-one training session. Most recently, I had been running several times a week, but osteoarthritis in my foot led to surgery and now running is no longer a good option for me. I was reluctant to believe that only one 30 minute workout each week would change my body in a visible and measurable way and I was equally unsure if I could find a way to fit this expense into my monthly budget. I was commuting almost two hours a day and the thought of getting up at some ridiculously early time to do a workout at home or in the gym was not appealing at all. I decided I could exchange some discretionary expenses to cover the cost of a personal trainer and give the program three months to see if it was right for me. In January 2016 I started weekly sessions with Laura. I knew that the first couple months would be a slow start and I had to be patient to see results. By the time March came along, I could tell my clothes were fitting better and my husband even mentioned my muscle tone was more defined. The weekly workout was convenient and easy to manage around the rest of my life. Continuing with the sessions was an easy decision for me to make. Through the rest of 2016, I continued to increase my strength and tone of my muscles and I knew that I was on the right track. However, I still had some extra weight that would not come off without a serious change in my diet. January 2017 I changed my diet, reducing carbs and sugars while increasing vegetables and proteins. I also completed a Metagenics 28 day detox which I obtained through Inform Fitness. I have dropped over 20 pounds in four months. Now the muscle definition that is there from my weekly workouts is even more visible and my body is in the best condition and health it has been in since my early 20's. I'm not just skinny; but toned, strong and healthy. I cannot stress enough that this method works to strengthen and tone your muscles, but you also need to adjust your diet if you are looking to lose weight. The reason why I like working with Laura is her ability to communicate and motivate me and her knowledge of exercise physiology. That may sound simple but it really does make me push through even when I want to give up. She won't give up on you, and that is what a personal trainer should do, that is why it is worth the price.
