Greg Lara, the owner, purchased some MedX equipment from me in November with a cashiers check. When he arrived to take the equipment, he also purchased another piece of equipment with a check. That check bounced. It's now been over three months and, following my emails and texts, owner Greg Lara kept saying that a replacement check was "in the mail". None has ever been received. I have not received a refund and he did not deliverable all the equipment he promised. Fitness Dynamics - I can't believe this guy is in business. I found out that he has a terrible reputation. After buying some MedX equipment a friend told me I shouldn't have got it from Greg Liara because he does NOT do what he says he will do. My friend owns the largest MedX facility in southwestern United State. He was right! Greg Liara would schedule days to drop off the shipment and then just not show. No calls. No emails. No explanation. He always had a fake excuse. Then he said he was going to teach me how to use the equipment and never did. I waited over 6 months past the date he originally said it would be delivers with multiple, multiple appointment that he never showed up to before he finally delivered some of the equipment. I just finished working with Greg Lara at Fitness Dynamics to come and take my two MedX medical machines (lumbar & cervical extension). I'm a busy physician, and we are in the process of closing one of our two medical offices in order to consolidate, and we had to sell our MedX machines. We had a deadline of 10/31/15 to be out of the space. Greg was pleasant, courteous, and professional throughout the entire process, from initial inquiry through final loading of the truck. I was hesitant to wire the money up-front to his bank account in order to secure the moving & sales contract, never having met him before (only corresponding via e-mail and phone). But Greg was true to his word. He communicated clearly his travel plans & itinerary, and he spelled out specifically what he needed from our end in order to facilitate the move. He flew from the west coast here to Connecticut, and made arrangements to rent a truck locally. All I needed to do was rent him a special appliance dolly (which I got from our local rental center) and arrange for some local contract labor. Even with this last item, Greg told me simply to contact Labor Ready, and they provided the extra manpower. Next Greg will put the machines up for sale once they arrive in his warehouse in CA. All in all, Greg made what could have been a very difficult & challenging project basically a breeze. Which is exactly what I needed in the middle of a crazy move / office relocation. I recently had an excellent experience with Greg Lara at Fitness Dynamics. We needed to sell four large MedEx prices of equipment. This is a very complex difficult job. One of the pieces weighed over a ton. Greg arranged to travel all the way from San Diego to Spokane WA and help us dis assemble and load the equipment. It was essentially a turn key process. Greg was prompt, paid me with a certified check, even though I did not request that and was very professional. I was very satisfied with Greg's service and would highly recommend him. read more

Worst buying experience ever. Greg Lara took my funds and then told me he didn't have some of the equipment I paid him for. And then he refused to return my funds for the equipment he failed to deliver on. He basically stole over $4000 from me. I purchased the MedX cervical and lumbar therapy units from Greg Lara in 2007. They have been great to use in my chiropractic/rehab office. Greg was door to door service and had them set up and going in no time. I have had no problems with these units and they have been a good profit center for me since they were purchased. I have been buying Medx equipment from Greg for 2 years. I only buy maybe 1 or 2 pieces at a time. A total of ten machines. He has always brought me what I wanted and installed as well. He even sold me a couple machines from his own personal line. He has more Medx and Keiser machines than anybody on the planet. I purchased an expensive piece of equipment, so at first I was very reluctant to do business (and especially exchange a large sum of money) with someone I had never met. But Greg is a real, live person :) and he delivered when and what he said he would. Dealing with him was a great option for me, since I was unable to pay full price to buy new. I had a horrible experience with Greg Lara, founder of Fitness Dynamics. I expressed interest in purchasing a used Kaiser Functional Trainer from him through his web site and he started hounding me about purchasing the unit. He called me several times a week, including several Saturdays and Sundays. I finally agreed to purchase the unit from him. He demanded cash upfront and wanted a cashier's check. The check was sent and he promised that I would get an email from the shipping company with further instructions over the following weekend. When I didn't get an email that Sunday, I sent him an email asking if the shipment process has been started. He said that he's in the process of taking care of it. I didn't receive the email and again emailed him the following Monday inquiring about the progress. I followed the email with a phone call. This is where the night mare started. He became very angry and abrupt! He told me to stop calling him and accused me of a being"very bad customer". He told me that he is so upset that he might not send the item and keep the money anyway. He insisted that I needed to apologize for bothering and harassing him! I was shocked and felt trapped because he had my money and the product was not shipped. Greg Lara is a bully and a creep. After this unbelievable conversation with him I realized that I made a big mistake dealing with him and would strongly advise everyone against purchasing anything from this man! read more

I first contacted Greg Lara of Fitness Dynamics in early May regarding some used MedX Core Spinal Fitness equipment he was selling. I am a Physical Therapist and was buying equipment for a second clinic I was opening. After going back and forth for a few weeks, I was ready to buy. We agreed on a price of $21950, which included delivery and set-up, when he was originally asking $23000. He was adamant that I put $5000 down until I secured my financing which I did. A few weeks later, with regular communication about status of funding, I was ready to buy the equipment. I figured 50% down and the other 50% upon delivery, but he wanted it all up front and he also decided he wanted the full $23000. Against my better judgement, I paid him. There was not a lot of other choices of equipment and he had a matching set. The day I deposited the money we discussed delivery dates and he decided he would deliver on Monday July 7th. I took myself off the schedule that day so I could be at the new clinic for delivery. A few days before, during the long 4th of July holiday, I decided to email him to confirm our delivery. He eventually got back to me stating he wasn't, in fact, coming because he just got back from a pick-up. I was not very happy considering he didn't apologize in his return email and left me without a schedule Monday morning which meant a loss of income. I emailed him back and gave him 3 choices: 1) bring me my pre-paid equipment on Monday the day he promised, 2) refund me $700 in lost income and deliver later that week, or 3) give me my money back. He emails me that option 2 and 3 are possible and he will get back to me. He also said if he gave me my money back, he would not charge me a "restocking fee". I eventually got him on the phone and his excuse for not letting me know he wasn't coming was because he was driving. Apparently when driving from Minnesota to Southern California you don't need to stop at any point. He then told me he would get back to me on Thursday July 10th with a new delivery date. I eventually emailed him Friday the 11th because I had not heard from him and he emailed me that evening stating he was leaving the following Wednesday July 16th. On July 15th I again emailed him again for confirmation and he emailed me back the next day stating he would be now leaving Friday or Saturday instead. So now I call him Friday to find out when he is arriving so I can make arrangements to be there and he states he will be there Monday now. Monday was a very busy day for me and I was not going to be able to be at the clinic that day and suggested Tuesday might be better. He said that was fine, he would be there Tuesday afternoon and he would call me 4 hours out. Once again, I scheduled myself out to be there and he sends me an email Tuesday morning stating he would now be coming Friday or Saturday, instead. I, once again, email him Friday to find out when he is leaving and don't hear back from him so I call Saturday morning. He tells me he won't be able to leave again for 3-4 days. At this point, I am at my wits end. I am convinced that he doesn't actually have my equipment and will keep stringing me along for God knows how long. I decide to provide an ultimatum. Either he brings me my equipment by the next Thursday or I start posting a review of this experience on every website I can think of. I also tell him that if he just decides to send me my money back, I will still post reviews. I only want my equipment. It has now been seven weeks since I paid him $23000 for my equipment and he has changed his delivery date 6 times. I have a new clinic that I am trying to open and have pleaded with him to please bring me my equipment as it is stalling my progress. He now tells me if I post a review not only will he not bring me my equipment but he won't give me my money back. Finally I decide to just request a full refund and outline the reasons why. A few days later he emails me and guarantees he will leave by August 7th for my delivery or he will refund me. A few days later he sends me another email telling me he has "acquired" the equipment and is still on schedule. So it appears that the six times he told me he was coming, he didn't even have the equipment acquired and blatantly lied to me. The best part is he didn't even leave on the 7th for my location, he left on the 8th. I finally got my equipment delivered 5 weeks after he initially said he was coming and 2 months after I paid him. So would I do business with Greg Lara of Fitness Dynamics again? No I would not. Would I recommend Greg Lara of Fitness Dynamics? No I would not. Do I wish I could go back in time and find someone else to deal with? Absolutely. If you are really in need of MedX equipment, you can buy MedX type machines from regenerationequipment.com brand new and have them delivered in 12 weeks.
