Let's…read morejust say I am on the large size, and I don't always feel comfortable dealing with fitness people, but this has not been the case at all with FIT. I am working remotely with their trainer Jeff. With a relatively small investment I have all of the equipment I need to transform my family room into a workout space each morning. I work out through face time with 3 other women, each of whom are in much better shape than I am. Jeff tailors a program for each of us, so that we are doing similar exercises at the same time fitting each of our needs. He has been particularly good at helping me find ways to continue to work out despite some knee issues. He is amazingly responsive. What I'm enjoying most is the balance in the workouts between strength training and cardio. By the end of every workout I really feel a sense of accomplishment and have worked up a good sweat. I feel that great feeling of having worked hard and accomplished something, but I don't feel so exhausted the rest of the day that my day is shot. I feel revved up rather than beaten down. If your looking for a way to workout from your home, I would give FIT a call. I find the cost reasonable. You don't need your own home gym just some weights, an adjustable weight kettle ball and a mat will get you started. I highly recommend.

Less than two months with FFL and I was able to do that! Perhaps by the end of 2019 I'll be able to squat at least one full plate on each side :) The gym is open Monday-Thursday and there are classes in the mornings and evenings. Each class is about an hour in length and each day focuses on a different body part (upper body, legs, core, full body). Each week is a completely different workout, which I really appreciate because I would get bored otherwise. The MV location is probably one of the bigger locations (in terms of members and size). James is an awesome trainer and the music during the classes is generally on point ^_^ My only con is that the gym is only opened Mon-Thurs : (

I look forward to my workout and have had great results. Rick helped push my fitness to places it's never been before. With his individual attention and focus I was able to run a Half Marathon on Memorial Day. Before I started training with Rick I had horrible knee problems. His fitness bootcamp held over on the Plaza in Sunnyvale will really challenge you to push your limits. He pays attention to everyone in the class. It's not just a cattle call with someone barking out orders. It's a real focused class. I feel like I get personal training each time I go. Rick is a caring personal trainer that gives each bootcamp participant individual attention. He will not let anyone do exercises in an unsafe or improper manner. I really encourage you to check out his website at http://www.RealResultsTrainer.com and come out to a bootcamp class with us. The girls [and our brave men] are really nice people. They will harass you if you stop coming and help keep you on track. Our little family wants everyone to achieve their goals. The lunchtime bootcamp on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 pm keeps me on track and keeps me making healthy choices all week. The first fitness bootcamp class is always free. It's worth you making the commitment to change. I still have some more weight to drop but I know that if I stick with Rick and LISTEN to him I will achieve my fitness goals.

He has everything you want in a trainer: professionalism; unparalleled expertise on all things health and wellness related; and a kind, friendly approach that will appeal to anyone. He knows just how hard to push you so you are always advancing, but not so much that you risk injuries, or become too intimidated to continue. He is open-minded, creative, and collaborative. For people who are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant, know that he helped train my wife throughout her pregnancy and afterwards. Without a doubt, he is the reason that my wife was able to follow her own birth plan-the doctor was skeptical that she would be able to deliver without a C-section given the size of our baby and because she had spent 2 days in labor before beginning to push. But Jason had helped prepare her-both her core and her stamina-and she was able to deliver our kid safely in under 2 hours. The doctor called her the 'best pusher' she's ever seen-and that is because of Jason. In other words, he is perfect. Jason is also just a funny, smart, and interesting guy to be around-we have enjoyed not just working with him, but becoming his friend. We trust him with our life, and you will, too.

It has completely changed the way I train for the better! Working with Jason has really levelled up my understanding of how to train for functional performance, strength and mobility that will serve me in the long-run - how to move better, breathwork and recovery, integrating mobility, and the mind & body connection. I'm sure anyone who has trained with Jason will know that he is always learning, experimenting, and exploring new methods in his own training, and he will often share new insights and techniques with his clients. He draws a lot from his own practice and reflection, and I think that's why he has a really good grasp of how certain movement patterns work with your body, and where the gaps are. Not to mention I don't know what I would've done without his guidance when I strained my hip through running. He prescribed several drills that not only resolved the pain very quickly, but I've now come out of it with better body mechanics and alignment. I'm really grateful to have found Jason and I would highly recommend him!

I have been really enjoying Jud's bootcamp for almost a year now! I can't say enough good things…read moreabout it. Jud's classes are always designed to be intense (I would say often moreso than P90X or Insanity), but he always offers modifications and is happy to help you come up with custom modifications for what you are trying to do (e.g. lower impact vs lower intensity). Jud is always changing it up - I never worry about being bored at his class or repeating a workout. He also has all the toys, including TRX. I really look forward to his dedicated TRX classes (every other Monday) and his strength classes (every Wednesday). Jud himself is super upbeat and finds time to say something encouraging to everyone, despite often having classes of 20 or more folks. I would recommend this class for everybody, from beginners to those well seasoned in bootcamp-style classes.

I am now a regular bootcamper and go as many days as I can during the week. I love the different exercises that we do and there is always something new to try. Jud is a great motivator and knows how to challenge everyone to push above and beyond their capabilities. The classes are very well priced. What I really like is that you are issued a punch pass with the number of classes to attend. Each time you attend a class, you punch the card. Most other bootcamps require a monthly fee for a fixed number of classes. If you miss a class, you don't get any make-ups. The punch card allows you to attend class when you can and not lose any money that you paid. When you join SickFit Bootcamp, you are not only going to just get more fit and healthy. You become a member of a close knit community of fellow SickFitters. SickFitters encourage and push each other.
