I work out with weights regularly at the gym and include cardio HIIT workouts to my routine. I thought this session would be a piece of cake. What I liked: * Before we got started, she gave a brief description of what we'll be expected to do for the duration of the class (how long it will take, what we'll be doing, the flow, the intensity) * The pace of the workout felt right, it wasn't too fast or too slow. * The dynamic of fitness levels of the women that participated. We were beginners to advanced athletes. * She explained beginner moves and more advanced moves depending on your fitness level * Sarah's motivation during the workout (keep shoulders down, counting down the workout, how many reps we have left, drink your water) * The variety of the workouts * Positive and constructive feedback during the workout (height of legs (where it should be), modified movements (performed correctly/how to get the most out of it)) * It was fun My heart rate did get up there. I wasn't expecting the session to be as intense as it was considering my workouts outside of this session. My muscles were definitely sore (ones I normally do not use doing my regular exercise routine) the next day. It was a very great, quality workout. Sarah was patient, friendly, and easy to follow. You know, you get out of it what you put in. She didn't let us slack, but pushed us to our individual points of failure. She also worked out with us. I look forward to working out with Sarah again.

Before, I used to always work out at the gym, go from machine to machine and just assumed I was doing everything right. Well after working with Denetra for just one session, I quickly realized I had been doing everything wrong all along! She not only shows you what workouts work best for your body but she also teaches you proper form and educates you on why we work out certain parts of our body or target certain muscles groups. I really like this because I feel more empowered knowing about my body and to know how to exercise properly and efficiently to see results. Because believe it or not, there is a right and a wrong way of working out to get the results for YOUR body. Denetra has taught me that every body is different, so you should only focus on workouts that help your body in particular; rather than doing what you see on tv or by watching other people in the gym. I've been with Denetra for about 3 months now, and finally, FINALLY I am seeing results!…read more Don't get me wrong, I was already working out before I met her, for over a year and pretty consistently. Cardio/weight lifting and everything. However, it wasn't until I started her training program that she tailored to fit me and my needs/goals exactly when I started seeing more drastic change in my body. I am leaner now and stronger. I eat better (let's be real it's so much easier to eat better when you have someone else who offers to keep tabs on you) AND for once I feel like by the time summer hits I will have that summer beach bod I want (: Her program is also flexible. I do her online training. I get new workouts every month and I can adjust them to my schedule which is really hectic. Her program is also REALLY affordable! PLEASE don't go paying ridic prices from other trainers who charge upwards of 80 dollars a session. This is a RIPOFF and you will go broke before you get the body you want. Denetra is affordable, fun, inspiring, and a downright AMAZING trainer. Would highly rec to anyone.

When I decided I didn't want to do this the rest of my life, I reached out to Jo. After working with Jo for several months, I am in such a better place. She worked with me to make small, behavioral changes that helped me completely change my view on my body and food. I was even able to pick my wedding dress with a healthy mindset that won't leave me working out like a maniac and not eating bread for months before the wedding.
