I stopped in to see whether this establishment had cold buster smoothies for my cold. As I walked in, I was greeted by Richie. Since this was my first visit, she explained that they made protein smoothies, nutrition services, a gym and personal training. I was taken on a tour and there was a small gym in the back - WHOA, didn't expect that! What also surprised me was that this establishment has been here for many years, as in over 10 years?! Crazy how I didn't notice it before. Perhaps a change in management?! The owner then came out, and he introduced himself as Dennis. He spoke that they had a lot of clients and they are very supportive of the military as he was in the military as well. A trainer came in and also introduced himself as Brad. Super fit and a lot of energy. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and I didn't feel pressured into making a purchase, etc. I was invited back with my husband to try a free personal training class. He gave me knowledge about the nutrition and the types of smoothies and recommended me the MANGO VANILLA smoothie when I said I wanted something refreshing. The moment I walked in, they EXCEEDED my expectations with their customer service! They aren't kidding with their motto "We offer more!" They're very generous with their sampling, and they make it a point to make sure you TRY things before you BUY them! At first I thought it was another nutrition shop with a bunch of bars and work out boosters, but they also provide super delicious smoothies with natural-harmless ingredients (this is now my go-to place when I have sweet cravings). It's been 10 years since I first stepped foot into this place. I was avoiding it for so long due to my first initial experience in 2010. I was immediately greeted by Dennis and given a sample of some kind of liquid vitamin. There was another customer or client there before I walked in. Dennis was able to multitask and talk with us both. So i didn't feel like an ignored customer. I went in to grab some protein snacks. Dennis had informed me that if i had gotten 4, then i get the 5th free, mix and match. And that if there's a certain bar or protein snack they don't have, they'd be more than welcome to order for you. How awesome is that?!! I didn't get to order any of the shakes from their smoothie menu, sad, i really wanted to though, but it was my peak week for competition and competition was seriously the next day. I was led to come into Nutra-Hut and tried the 12X with Brad and that pumped me to sign up right then and there. The atmosphere is very energetic. Nutra-Hut is very welcoming. They want to get you to become a better version of yourself. Since I have been training consistently I've gained more strength. The staff at Nutra-Hut all around has been very encouraging and helped me gain more focus and strength physically and emotionally. When we were checking out, we also somehow convinced him (effortlessly) to give us two free shakers since there were two of us. hahaha We also took advantage of the 10% discount for mentioning Yelp when checking out. Infinite fit was a blessing to find. The trainers and coaches are friendly, the atmosphere is electric, and their protein fit whips (protein shakes) are the best. The real star of the review goes out to the coaches/trainers. Collectively they are humble and more than happy to help with any questions about fitness, form, and nutrition. I was intimidated at first, but everyone there is so kind and reassuring. the selection of supplements they offer from pre workout to creatine to vitamins is extensive and the staff will easily point you in the right direction. I go here 3 times a week and look forward to seeing the other regulars who are just as friendly as the trainers. Solid 5 stars for this place and would give more if I could. Overall, it didn't make a distinct impression on me. This is a supplement shop comparable to GNC in pricing, selection is not as complete. I tried a smoothie because I read on yelp that this was the place in Mira Mesa to get them. It was nothing special: powder, ice, and a blender. A comparable smoothie could be made at home with a blender, and wouldn't cost you 5 bucks. It felt like pop nutrition; just tell me something is healthy, but don't give me a comprehensive rundown of what I'm actually drinking. Awesome experience with Nutra Hut. The guys who work there are extremely friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and appreciative of your business. Went there for the first time on yesterday to grab a protein shake for lunch and it was such a positive experience that I went back today. The shakes/smoothies are a bit pricey and I could probably blend up something similar for half the price, but the convenience of not having to bring my supplies to work have made it worth it. The $7 I spent on my large shake is about what I would have paid for lunch anyway so, as a meal replacement, I can justify spending the money. So psyched on this place! I was just casually walking by looking in when the guy at the desk welcomed me to take a look around. I told the guy who was helping me (can't remember his name despite him telling me five times but it's the guy in the striped nike shirt in the picture on their yelp page) that I was looking for a meal replacement powder. After talking a little more he pointed me to two that they carry and explained all the benefits of each and how they differ. I really like how he didn't try to convince me to buy the more expensive product which I feel like gnc does pretty often. I left feeling like I got a really good product at a very competitive price. He also gave me some cool tips on how to make them taste yummy! I just wish I wasn't in such a rush to get to work, because he seemed like wealth of good knowledge. This place has always had good and friendly customer service. As far as I've seen, they don't product-push which is a big turn-off when entering other nutrition stores. I was introduced to the instructor Chuck who was very helpful and knowledgeable in teaching me about losing weight and staying healthy. I am now at 157 pounds. I am healthier than I was in a long time and my health problems are fully gone thanks to Chuck's knowledge on diet and exercise. I started off as a 45-inch waist and now I am down to a 36-inch waist. After thousands of years living in the area, I've finally set foot inside of in2it. I've always imagined something more along the lines of a creepy cave of bats and horses, but nope. My imagination is all kinds of effed up. Anyways, the Huns and I came here because we ran out of Jack3d and it was near the home of the woman who babysits my dog when I'm away, otherwise known as... mama. I didn't really know what to expect before walking inside; my mind was more focused on how damn hungry I was and thinking about the greasiest possible food I could consume after picking up my dog. Yeah, I know, not the greatest thing to be thinking about in a nutrition store, but my mind likes working against the grain that way. Anyways, so we walk in after having parked in a princess parking spot right in front of the store door. There were about 3 people in the store, which doesn't sound a lot, but considering the fact that the store is the size of my car's glove compartment, it seemed like a good amount. Why small? Because the rest of 2/3's was another room beyond the glove compartment separated by a glass door. Voila! A personal training room. Very cool! It was pretty spacious with not a whole gym's worth of equipment, but all the necessary things you need to get "yolked". I hate that word, "yolked". The huns uses it. I don't think it's cool. The only reason why I said it was to bring up the subject and discourage it's use. Please don't use the word unless you're describing what happens when you break a sunny side up egg on a piece of toast. Hmmm, where am I going with this. Right. So we were helped by a very kind employee by the name of Geric? Garik? I don't think they have name tags. Anyways, yes, the guy showed us where the Jack3d was, which was nice to see there were plenty of other flavors in stock. He also recommended different supplements and other fun chemicals to enhance workouts, burn fat, etc. Prices are so-so... then again, when was it ever cheap to stay fit and in shape? Yes. My point exactly. Rates for personal training sessions are very reasonable, compared to others out in the market. For a store that's been here FOREVER, I must say, that it looks in GREAT shape! HAHAHAHA... pun unintended. I think the guy said that they just renovated the place, so that must explains it. Overall, great place to get well known and trusted brands on the market. Seems like they have their products readily available (although, they did not have our favorite Jack3d flavor, 'white blue raspberry'), they had another flavor to try: raspberry lemonade. Friendly staff that won't try to sell you random crap, but will inform you of the latest products and recommend items suiting your needs. They're not a bunch of meat heads that intimidate you with their meatiness, but just people just like you and me just tryin' help help a homie out. I bought a franchise of In2IT and I have to sue the owner Denis Reider due to bad management and fraud. After 2 years I won the case, be careful buying product in this store I rather buy direct on line and get better prices. Like most stores that sell protein, prices are extremely expensive. It is always cheaper to buy online. However, on the occasions when ive run out it is very convenient to stop in here and pick up some cold bottled protein from their fridge while im waiting for my online shipment.
