Great experience and respectful and honest staff. Love it and I will definitely be back!

I've been living in town for almost 20 years. Finally, went in here…read more I like everything about this place. I have no cats or dogs but have friends who do. So, I went for some cat gifts. As I came in I was greeted by a very mellow old dog who checked me out and wandered away. I was asked if I needed help. I flat-out told the man I didn't know where to start. He graciously pointed me to what they had, pointed out some popular items and was ready to answer any questions. But, that's not all. A very nice lady also pointed out some other items to me as well. They were pleasant and polite. They told me about the points program and signed me up. Prices were fair for the items I chose. I kinda want my own cat just to go back there. These folks are great.

My husband and I adopted an older cat from this shelter last year. All of the cats looked in great…read morehealth and the staff were giving them plenty of affection. We had already picked out a cat from the shelter's internet site. The cat had previously been mistreated and was extremely fearful of people, but we wanted to give her a quiet, caring home. The shelter employees took the time to get to know us and determine whether we would be a good match for a cat with such a history, and we learned that another prospective owner had already been turned down. I was impressed by this, because the shelter could just as easily have taken the first interested owner in an effort to get rid of this "problematic" cat. Metrowest gave us our cat's favorite toy and bed when we took her home, and called a couple of times over the next weeks to make sure things were working out. They definitely care for their kitties!

While I can't review the service because I was turned down from the start, I will be reviewing as a…read morepotential customer who would no longer consider doing business. I am 100% understanding if you simply cannot take on any more work load. However, the rude, condescending, unsolicited advice is not necessary. While true, I don't need to be told that the puppy we're not getting (we are rehoming a 3 year old dog) needs to be crate trained and that we need to accommodate time for the puppy (again, not getting a puppy but this was assumed) to get used to its new home. This is common sense as an adult... If you cannot render services to any additional inquiring potential customers, my suggestion is to thank them for their inquiry and advise that you have to POLITELY decline being hired as you do not have the capacity for new customers at this time. Then refrain from talking to their person like they are uneducated and lacking common sense and perhaps give a referral or start a waiting list.
