Love the friendly reception area. This was my first visit, brought my son in for a check up and we were greeted immediately and he was seen right away. I filled out a few short forms while he had his xrays and then I was called in while they consulted briefly on what they were going to do and other suggestions. Staff was very warm and friendly and very detailed. The room was bright, clean and open as was the reception area. I would definitely recommend them if you live in the area. Parking is easy outside and this relatively new office building is in a great location, easily accessible from Route 9 and I84. read more

This dental office is terrible they are always adding additional charges. The xray tech told my son he had one cavity when the dentist walked in she told my son he had 8 cavities. What? Turned out after a visit to another dentist the X-ray tech was right there was only one cavity. I was also told i had additional cavities the dentist worked on my front tooth cavity which I didn't know I had it took all of 2 minutes. When I got home I saw no evidence of a filling anywhere. Do NOT trust the office manager!! When you schedule an appointment and she "checks" the insurance and tell you the visit is covered-don't believe her. She is bitter and snarky and literally hung up. Check minus on professionalism. Perhaps its her insecurity about her her poor job performance that motivates her to be mean, Either way, the Dentist is a hard enough visit without mean people. Oh, and she doesn't use her name- just goes by "office manager." That speaks volumes... Its a shame, I had been very satisfied with the Dentists there, too bad someone like the "office manager" behaves the way she does. We will never go back. read more

Horrible dentist. Gave my son and husband root canals and caps. they had to all be pulled out the dentist fractured the tooth in all of them. they were in a lot of pain. my daughter had fillings done there. we went to another dentist and they all had to be redone. You go in to fix a problem and you leave with more and worse they intentionally ruin patients teeth. read more

I was quited surprised to have seen the negative reviews. I have been using County Dental for approximately 5 years and have been quite pleased. The staff has always been very professional, supportive, friendly and personal. The hygenists have treated me with care, explaining things as they go. They are knowlegable and consult with the dentist or with my doctors if they notice anything questionable. I feel safe in their care.The dentists have been personable and skillful. I have had crown replacements but have not needed any delicate proceedures. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars is that I am not sure how quickly they will respond in after hour emergency situations, since I have not had that need. GD read more

My visit was a pleasant experience today. Staff were pleasant and explained a plan.

Please be aware that this dental provider is all about making money as others have pointed out. Putting on sealants that don't last and then asking to put them on again 6 months later. Saying that you need crowns or to take out fillings for which there are no problems. "Let's take out the fillings and put in new ones just in case something happens." Walking in to be told in front of other customers that I owed $400 and would have all 3 of my family appointments cancelled that day (after taking time off work). It should be noted that I did not owe the money, the office never sent a bill or called me and they made an error billing the insurance company. There have been other issues also. read more

Awful. The receptionist are rude as soon as you get there so you get started off here to a bad start. Then the dental hygienist hurt made it hurt more after being very rough during X-rays and the exam. The dentist himself was quick and did not explain my options clearly. I left there confused and I even explained that to the receptionist and she was not helpful at all on trying to make me feel more easy about my dental options. Horrible place. Everytime they try to fix one tooth they damage another. If all you need is a cleaning then fine because the hygienists are great. The dentists, however, seem grossly insensitive and incompetent. Shame on me for continuing to give them another chance. 2 years of utter torture. read more

Awesome what an experience great staff and office couldn't ask for better. I had two wisdom teeth removed and the oral surgeon dr mark was fantastic. Coming from having a bad experience at another dental office I couldn't have asked for any better I'm so glad I went with county dental. My daughter went to the County Dental Fishkill to have all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. We decided to do it while she was awake which was a huge mistake The oral surgeon was an insensitive brute who did not prepare her, nor did he discuss pain management with her. He gave her scripts for pain medications she could not take and traumatized her. To make matters worse we were calling the "emergency number" for guidance during recovery and the calls were being returned by someone who called, did not leave a message and provided no way to call them back. My personal experience is that I always get the feeling the staff is about to loose their jobs if they don't bring in more business. Perhaps that explains the constant turnover of staff. On 8/10/2020,at approx. 4pm,I saw Dr. Hashin on and emergency visit.This was due to tremendous pain on my lower right side.Dr. Hashiin took a few x-rays,and said molar tooth was severley infected,and I should go back to the dentist who made the bridge. Be advised I came into her office in great pain,it was late in the afternoon,she never gave me antiibiotiics or pain meds.She also made the comment,that I like to go to different dentiists,not appropriate statement. When you see my xrays,you will see a huge infection,and she let me walk out with no meds. As a result I left in great pain,had no idea if the dentist who made the bridge was even open,or working on that day. I did not sleep 1 miinute that niight,cryiing in pain. The xrays and her actions will tell the complete story. I strongly beliieve that the dentist was upset that I had the lower bridge by another dentist,even though I saw her on previous visits,but not for the lower right bridge.I believe the NYS ED Dept will be involved shortly. Her Demeanor has changed 360 from my first visit,and her attitude needs closer inspectiion. Dental Malpractice needs to be looked out. I also maybe taped Dr. Hashin where she never referred me to go to any other Doctor that night Perjury charge would be considered if she lies. read more

i been patient for the last 6/7 years at dental fishkill today I had the worst day of my life at the clinic with one of the staff she called me today that my appt was at 9 I totally forgot had a rough 2 weeks my son had pain crisis and he gets a lot crisis on top of that I had an appt for the 21 of this month had to reschedule becouse my child was hospitalized do to Rsv and pain crisis ! so any way the staff call me about my appt she sed no problem come in the doctor will see you i show up she tell me no with attitude than tell me don't have the dignity of not showing on the 21 and now Im late I was like so angry told her you told me to come in now you telling the doctor can't see me you could tell me that on the phone reschedule my appt simple !! I told her you don't know my life my child was at hospital !! I'm so disappointed never in my life had issues with a staff specially at that clinic . I refused to go back again to the fact this person maybe go tto the clinic and insult me tell me all this stuff . you can't judge ppl life and who she to tell me didn't show up on appt than telling me to go to my appt that is fine to run a little bit late than send me back home that doctor can't see me !! again when you call me you could tell me will reschedule your appt for another time !! read more

Worst business practices ever. They call a thousand times to confirm, as well as email. Fine. I emailed back and confirmed as requested. They also request that you call to confirm that you pla on showing up to the appointment. I apparently did not email AND call to tell them I was showing up (for the appointment I very intentionally booked) so they gave my appointment away and were unapologetic because they said they didn't know if I was going to show up. For the appointment I scheduled. And did not cancel. I've never encountered such ridiculous and simultaneously snide office practices at any dentist I have ever seen. I was also refused cleaning because I am pregnant (well past my first trimester when it is advised women hold off from dental treatments). The hygienist would not take a doctor note recommending that cleaning be performed (from an actual obstetrician), but rather "uses her own discretion" and also won't work on women if they plan to breastfeed or for the duration of time that the woman is in fact breastfeeding. There is NO literature to support either of these practices. In fact it's quite the reverse, with pregnant women NEEDING cleanings in order to reduce risk of preterm labor which is linked to periodontal and gum disease. AWFUL office practices, terrible wait times, lack of basic knowledge and professionalism, all have me willing to pay for a dentist outside of my insurance network JUST to avoid this place. I will say the dentist I worked with, Dr. Hashim, was wonderful. Great work, very punctual and friendly. If only she weren't connected to such a rotten business I would certainly continue seeing her. read more

Don't go there! I went for a cleaning and was refused service because I had a plate put in my arm 8 years ago. I had to get a medical clearance from my doctor (which he laughed at) and waste my day running around or have to take another half-day from work because they have no late nights! Latest appointments I'll make us 4 o'clock. They then told me that I had seven cavities. I haven't had a cavity in 10 years! They scheduled me for an appointment to have four of them filled. Immediately upon leaving the office when the anesthesia wore off I felt pain. When I called to schedule an appointment to have this problem fixed they put me off for a week. Then when I came in to have the problem fixed immediately upon leaving the office on the anesthesia wore off I had pain again. They clearly have no clue what they're doing and they're only out for your money. I would've left a zero star rating if I knew how. read more

where to begin....... when I wrote this review It had been 4 1/2 years after the incidents I mentioned. I have a real fear of the dentist and finally got the nerve up to go to a new dentist. I was so nervous considering the appts that were cancelled were to fill the 10 cavities I had as per the Dentist at County Dental..... well, apparently in those 4 1/2 years there have been a miracle and I now only have 1 very small cavity that needs a filling. County Dental also put in sealants that my insur didn't pay for that were also not needed. Unbelievable on so many levels. Beware!!! read more

Area Dental care at Fishkill is Incredible! My children enjoy it there and also didn't wish to keep. My children are 6 and 2 plus they enjoy the vibrantly decorated examination space, view the stunning seafood within the container, and Enjoy they reach view a film around the roof. How awesome! ! The physicians are extremely awesome and sweet. At the conclusion of every check out they reach choose a plaything from your plaything package, which is their most favorite component! I can't think about a single unfavorable factor on them or anybody who functions there! read more

Terrible office practices. I was told my daughters temp. filling was covered by insurance. Never received a bill until I brought her back for a cleaning eight months later and surprise they say I owe $ 250.00 I find it strange that I left the office not owing anything until eight months later.Do not believe anything they say you as the patient will lose in the end!!! i have been a patient of county dental for about a year, they are friendly and courteous and above all honest. i was scheduled for a cleaning and they informed me that my insurance for the year was maxed out and the cleaning would cost $175 but that they were willing to accept the $78 that the insurance company would approve and i agreed to pay the $78. when i got to my appointment, i immediately paid the $78. after the appointment, as i was scheduling my next cleaning, they informed me that they were refunding the $78 because cleanings are not part of the yearly allowance of visits....i would not have known that!!! cudos to county dental staff!!!! read more
