If you are thinking about going, be prepared for an experience that will redefine "breathtaking" Blackstone and Beloit Glacier jet ski tour with Alaska Wild Guides is an absolute must-do in Prince William Sound! This 4-hour, 50"ish"-mile adventure was by far one of the best experiences I've had in Alaska, offering a thrilling blend of exhilaration, raw natural beauty, and profound solitude. From the moment we set off, it was clear this wasn't just any tour. The day began sunny and absolutely gorgeous, painting the already stunning Prince William Sound in a vibrant glow. Our small, intimate group made the experience feel incredibly personal, and our guides were simply exceptional - knowledgeable, fun, and clearly passionate about this incredible environment. The jet skis themselves were a blast! Fully outfitted in comfortable dry suits, gloves, and boots, we were ready for anything. While gliding over calm waters provided serene moments to soak in the scenery, the real thrill came when the waves picked up, adding an exhilarating dimension to the ride. It's hard to put into words the feeling of piloting your own vessel through such a majestic landscape. Approaching Blackstone and Beloit Glaciers was truly awe-inspiring. Both were actively calving, a powerful reminder of nature's constant motion, creating booming sounds that echoed across the water. Getting up close to these icy giants was a humbling experience, making this trip even more magical was the surprising sight of sea lions basking in the sun. My absolute favorite moment was spotting an incredible array of birds and witnessing the stunning waterfall cascading near Blackstone Glacier. The sheer scale and beauty of the Prince William Sound as we headed out was simply breathtaking; words genuinely can't capture the sense of wild solitude I felt out on the water. While the weather shifted towards the end of our tour, bringing a touch of rain and wind, it only added to the drama

After a quick safety overview, my 11 year old son and I were on our way in a private helicopter! The sites were amazing. Our pilot was experienced and had great control. After gearing up, you get ready to ride on a helicopter to punch bowl glacier. The ride was so cool (one of my firsts)! If you've never been in a helicopter, it's an amazing way to sightsee since the viewing angle is way less restrictive than any other aircraft. The maneuverability can make it similar to a thrill ride! Once up there, while waiting to get set up or waiting for others before me to go on their tour, the staff introduces you to their vast arrays of dogs that were born and bred to be sled dogs. Love it or hate it, the dogs seem happy and seem well taken care of. It was amazing to see the 7 puppies that were 8 weeks old and teething. It's hard to not smile when they start chewing on the boots provided by the company. Lastly the piece de resistance is the actual ride. It was very fun and enjoyable being able ride in the sleds with dogs pulling you. They can go pretty fast and the mushers go into the history of dog sledding. Overall, it was a fun experience and a great way for people to enjoy a unique adventure!

Our guide Jack was particularly amazing but everyone we met at Alaska Backcountry Adventure Tours were experts in their field, extremely friendly and accommodating. The Brand new ATV's were so much fun to drive in the Alaska Countryside! The guides do a great job of stopping and sharing knowledge about everything you see along the way! Everything is Included! Not only do they include lunch, snacks and water for the entire journey, they also outfit you with all the necessary outerwear you might need. As a larger guy I was a little nervous as most places don't carry my sizes. Not only could they accommodate me easily they even had sizes up to 5x. If you are on the fence about this tour definitely pull the trigger. They will take great care of you and this tour will be the highlight of your trip!

First we have done ATV in Mexico and in Hawaii on some amazing backdrops. This by far was the best. The machines were perfect and so was the equipment. They had great gear that kept a lot of the mud, dust and water out. It can't be avoided completely but they do everything in their power. I was hesitant about having to wear a helmet but have to say it is a must. As you fly through the trails at catch an errant tree limb this takes it like a champ. We loved getting to the glacier and then getting the option to polar plunge in the glacier. They made it easy and encouraged it. The food and snacks exceeded our expectations and we had the perfect amounts of stops. We saw 3 moose and two of the three were a mother/baby pair. So cute for sure. We saw eagles fly over head too. This was just amazing and the staff made us feel a part of their family. The sand dunes were a blast in these machines. So many good things to say.

I drove by the sign and thought "I will just pop down there and see if they have any space." Lo and behold, that had some space on the trip that was starting ten minutes after I got there. They got me signed up and off we went! Adam did a great job driving our bus and photographing us along the way, Gavin kept us well entertained and got us excited on the bus, Coffee (manager) gave us a very informative safety speech, and my rafts personal guide, Maria (from Louisiana), was awesome. I felt safe and had a wonderful time with her guiding our raft. Getting a gla-cial (facial from the glacier water) was a top experience of my trip. I also thought the tour and photos were appropriately priced. Overall, a great experience and worth the money and I'm so happy I did it.

Shoutout to David (for glacier trekking) and Jon (for whitewater rafting) for making the respective excursions memorable! Let me start with the glacier trekking. My buddy and I did the adventure trek. This was perhaps one of the most unique excisions over ever been on. The fact that you're exploring a glacier (the matanuska glacier) by walking on it and through it leaves you with a sense of wonder. It seriously feels like a whole new world that's not in earth. Our guide , David, took us to see a lot of features of the glacier and we got to see glacier crevasses and glacial pools. So beautiful and majestic. This left an imprint of Alaskan glacial beauty and I'll be sure to never forget. He even created a spout on the glacier so we can taste the freshness of glacier water! We felt completely safe with his knowledge of the glacier and he made sure to answer any questions we may have had. Thanks David! The next excursion was to whitewater rafting down the Matanuska River. For the second excursion, we did the lions head rafting tour. Let me start out by saying that it was utterly fun and unforgettable. Going through class 3 and 4 rapids is sure to excite any thrill seeker. The guide definitely makes this trip exciting especially since they are integral to your safety as well as fun. Jon made sure that we were all engaged and having a great time! Thanks Jon! I cannot recommend this company enough. Definitely do multiple activities (you'll get a discount for booking more than one)! This was the end cap for my Alaskan adventure as it was drawing to a close. I couldn't have chosen better adventures to end on! Keep it up Nova!
