Bob was our tour guide and was worth every penny! He's been doing tours I believe for 3 decades, so he knows his stuff! We did the ATV tour through the backcountry, off-road narrow/wet trails, through large & small streams (which I LOVED), and hiked down to a gorgeous waterfall (Be prepared to get a little dirty and wet). Bob setup a telescope and we had a few Bear and Dall sheep sightings, way cool! Bob was super accommodating, offered us snacks & water, took photos of us and knew exactly what angles to take for the perfect Kodak moment! Personally, this is the best way to experience Alaska, it was so picturesque! One of my most favorite tours in Alaska! read more

Atv adventures is amazing!!! Our guide was Bob. Bob can spot game from miles away. very knowledgeable and experienced. we saw grizzly bear, mountain goats and silver salmon in the river. took in some amazing scenery and had a true adventure. atv adventures is not your stay in a line, go 5 miles an hour and this is boring atv ride. You will get dirty, you will have a blast. this is suited for the beginner to the experienced. beginners won't be overwhelmed or expected to do the extreme and experienced riders won't get bored. lots of water, mud, nice hills and rutted trails. truly a great time!! thank you atv adventures and Bob for an amazing time. read more

What a great afternoon outting!!! Jake was a great guide. My son and I enjoyed every second of the ride. Our ride was challenging and fun. It was nice to have the opportunity to jump off the ride for a 20 minute break. We took in the spectacular views and a beautiful raging waterfall. We had a blast. Bob and Calea were great. The machines worked great and thier knowledge of where to see bears was incredible. We saw black bears, grizzly bears and a brown bear and then the salmon at the waterfall was so cool. Bob is also quite the photographer, he got somw great shots with my camera. We suggest this trip to anyone, be prepared to het wet and a little muddy. read more

OMG. I can't say enough good things about this place. I was in anchorage with my hubby and our 4 children. We were looking for a short atv experience but everyone was only doing day tours or weren't available. I came across this place on google . They were so accommodating and went out of their way to make our last day memorable. Everyone we spoke to was super nice and CAELA and her mom are rockstars. My kids had a blast! Wow!! This ATV tour is super fun! I went on this tour last summer with the bf, my sister and her husband and we had a great time. Not one of us had gone ATVing before, but by the time we were done we were ready to do it again. We went on the 3 hour Girdwood tour, our guide was pretty cool, I feel bad that I don't remember his name, but he was knowledgeable and easy going. We each had our own ATV and the first 20mins were spent learning the basics: how to change gears, break, turn etc. The trail was great: a good combination of long smooth stretches, almost vertical uphill climbs that you feel like your going to flip backwards, huge puddles, mud, rocks, twists and turns, and even narrow paths on the edge of a cliff. About halfway through the tour we took a hike to one of the waterfalls and stopped for a snack, which was provided, bonus! At that point we were feeling pretty confident in our new found ATVing skills so we pretty much floored it all the way back to the parking lot. If you're thinking about going on a tour... go a head and book it! Trust me, it's worth every penny and more!! Next time I visit Alaska, I'm definitely doing another tour. read more

Wanted to see parts of Alaska in a different way and ATV'ing is a way to do it. Bob was a great guide and was able to explain a lot about the area we drive through. I've rode ATV's before but Bob Explains how to ride ATV's for those that have never done it before so beginner need not worry. It had rained the day before so it was a muddy ride. Bring extra shoes and clothes if you don't want to walk around with mud and water. Had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend to all. read more

Our family, all adults, had a great time! Two of us were experienced riders, two had never ridden. With the patient training of our guides, all of us were soon flying down the trails. The scenery was breathtaking. We stopped at a meadow and saw two black bears then hiked to a waterfall where we saw several salmon. We came to a spot where we had to travel on a trail that was covered in 2'+ of water. Our guide grabbed each of our phones and filmed us as we individually 80' water hazard. We all made it through relatively dry. It was loads of fun and if we ever come back we'll definitely do it again! read more

We were the first tour of the season, and my friend and I had a great time with our tour guide Bob. We were a bit scared when pulling up to the empty parking lot... two ladies going out on a tour by ourselves with a unknown male, but he was actually really fun and we had an amazing time. What a great experience we had with our guides! They made the trip even better than expected. We were able to see bears through their binoculars and telescope as well as see king salmon in the river we hiked to. It's a no frills place where you wait in your vehicle and take off from there but it didn't matter as what they are focused on is their ATV experience. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and waterproof boots/shoes if you, like me, love to go through the puddles! It is muddy when you do that. read more

We had a great time doing their polar bear watching tour. We flew up to Barter Island on the arctic ocean. We saw over twenty polar bears of all different sizes, some of them very close. Polar bears were everywhere because the natives had pulled in a bowhead whale. It was really incredible. Tim was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Once we were there he basically took us wherever we wanted any time of day. He even woke up late at night to check if there were northern lights for us. I'd recommend this tour to anyone looking for an adventurous trip. read more

Late review as I went there a month or so back. I had a good time , the ride is perfect length and scenery is impeccable. The guide is unique in personality. I think it takes a certain type of individual to enjoy those traits. He was rude to me and my girlfriends but the scenery and trip made up for it read more

My husband and I came up to Alaska for a week long visit and decided to book an ATV tour on one of the days. It was an absolute blast! We were actually the only two on this particular tour which meant we got to have a lot of fun and got to ask lots of questions of our guide, Bob. Bob was great! He was super knowledgable about the surroundings, Alaska history, and the wildlife, both plant and animal. I had never ridden an ATV prior to this trip, but Bob made sure to go over all safety and operational information, so I felt comfortable prior to heading out, and riding along the trails was so much fun! If you are considering booking a ride with this company, I 100% recommend you do so! We didn't see a whole lot of wildlife when we went out, it was raining a bit, but we did see a bull moose and some salmon. The ride though, and gorgeous views along the way, are absolutely worth every penny. Thank you for showing us a great time!! read more

The company provided a great ATV adventure for me. I was impressed with the quality of the equipment and the great guide. She led us on a great tour of Bird Creek area. They did not watch the clock but instead made sure we had a good time. Made a point to stop and take pictures of those of us on the tour.
