It's a tradition I started with my grandmother many many years ago. They have always been my favorite Easter candy, and I look forward to them every spring. However, this year I'm disappointed in them. As I mentioned, I purchased a pound of the eggs. The inside does not look like they usually do. It is a deeper colored brown; and unfortunately, they do not taste the same. In addition, they are much smaller than the ones I have bought in years past. I am really disappointed. I guess the only light in this is that I will save money this spring inasmuch as I will not be purchasing my usual five pounds throughout the season. Nor will I recommend them as I have in the past.
