The place is fine but not great. If you're in Mexico there are some great places. This is for the lazy ones who don't want to leave the hotel. The food is mediocre at best.

Went back tonight for our last night in Mexico. But tonight we had dessert with dinner. Chocolate Cake with the bottom soaked in Bailey's and a Bananna Taco. A crepe with cream cheese topped with dulce de leche made from goats milk. Caramelized with bananna and a side of vanilla ice cream.

This place is at the base of our hotel and it was recommended by the staff. It looked super busy through the windows every night so we thought we'd give it a try. There were 4 of us. The busy activity is the employees. There are more employees working than customers. We ordered drinks and they took forever to come to the table. We had to ask 5 times for our drinks. Then some appetizers came at the same time as one entree. Then one entree was no longer available and she was told when everyone's entrees were already given. The fish we wanted wasn't available and the fish that was wasn't so tasty. I don't think we'll go here again for these prices.

Dozen oyster.. oyster was not fresh! Yucky!

Horrible services, seafoods was not fresh at all, way overprice! I would gave it 0 star! I decide to have dinner here on Monday since it was near by my hotel. The restaurant was empty which I am a little concern over their seafoods quality on the menu. We order the salmon sashimi was thinly sliced and too salty. The three ceviches was okay. I order the whole snapper but I guess they don't have that so the manager bring out the tilapia which smell fishy. The Thai ceviche was so bad in flavors. The oysters was not fresh either. The tuna tartare was nasty uncooked rice! The rice was was not fully cooked and dry! I told the server and they ignored it. What kind of seafoods restaurant serves fishy and not fresh seafoods that also overpriced! If you going to charge that amount, make sure the quality matches the ingredients! None of them speak English was fine which I can point out the English menu but they are lack of services. What a joke with the services and overprice low quality! I will never come back!!

Okay, for some reason one of my friends loves Fisher's and told us to come here. Such a mistake!!!!!!! Maybe we had been spoiled by all the bougey meals in Polanco but Fisher's was really not good! The seafood seemed not fresh and everything was sitting in a pool of liquid. The drinks were crazy sugary and the food didn't even look appetizing. Some dishes tasted okay, others were unappetizing. The only redeeming quality is that our waiter was hilarious and just so so so so great. We laughed loudly the entire night. Also, they have these Mexican crackers on the table, which were delicious. Are the laughter and crackers worth something? Absolutely. Were they worth what we had to pay for dinner? Definitely not.

After eating Mexican food for 4 days I was ready to have something different. Had seen Fisher's during some touring and wanted to try them. When they bring you the menu they pour you some fish broth in a short glass. Strange, but it was ok. I dared to have some salmon nigiri. The rice balls they made were huge, not like what we have in California. Sadly they have not mastered the art of cooking rice as some of it was crunchy. I also ordered the bacalao with salsa verde, it was basically a fish soup. Hubby had the fish ala diabla which was prepared with a chipotle cream sauce then topped with cheese and bacon. Hubby doesn't eat pork so he scraped off the topping. It was ok but not on our return list,

Curious inclusion of Thai and cheddar cheese.

First time visiting Mexico City and we've had some outstanding food so far, from the restaurant at our hotel to the tiny alley that served the best tlacoyo. This place was...edible. Considering the rave reviews we saw on Google, even though it's at a Hampton Inn, we had fairly high hopes. Service was lovely. Atmosphere was diner-like with bright lights, TV screens, and loud music. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla, which was fine, although you'd be hard pressed to identify the spicy paste inside the tortilla. We also ordered the arroz con mariscos, which was also fine but definitely lacked a lot of the promised fish. Also noted the curry powder flavoring. This place obviously has a happy following but we won't be back.

Then, allow the friendly staff to bring as many items from the menu as you can handle. Come with a group so you can share. An absolute must is the whole fish done à la Contramar, one side of the split fish coated in a punchy parsley sauce and the other in a red adobo rub. Served with flour tortillas (which are refillable) and black bean dip, you'll be instructed how to compose perfect bites. Then, choose your own adventure! We also had both the 4 piece each shrimp tostadas and tuna tostadas. Radically different so getting both doesn't duplicate. The pasta (spaghettini) with clams was buttery and garlicky and the pasta was surprisingly not overcooked. Biggest surprise was the grilled soft shell crabs (with corn tortillas). They came pre cut then reassembled so it was easy to pick them up and pop them in your mouth. The grill flavor was fantastic and we were all impressed. We finished with a slice of coconut cake which was like a caramel coated macaroon. Perfect! Large wine list by the glass and bottle, many cocktails, sangria and beer to choose from. Definitely a place to visit when in Mexico City. Sorry for the lack of photos-- we forgot because we dove into each dish (we were hungry and they looked so good)! Got one good one though...

Being from California, I was surprised to hear that they opened their newest location at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas last month. We ordered the tuna tostada that people rave about. It was ok. We could have used some more assertive flavor from acid or spice. I couldn't eat a whole fish (their signature dish), so we went with shrimp in their adobo rub in a taco and fish al pastor. These were also just ok, but the price tags are high for their entrees. I've seen pictures of others fish al pastor with onions and cilantro and that certainly would have added something I felt was missing. The one thing we ordered and loved was their seasonal mackerel ceviche which was in an apple/citrus/olive oil sauce. It was unique and delicious. I think their ceviche and aguachile are probably their strengths, but the cost is pretty high to leave feeling underwhelmed. Honestly, we will be going back to mi compa chava for better seafood

Loved the open kitchen environment, so you could really see the work they put into the dishes. The interior of the restaurant is stunning -- a mix of industrial + rustic that somehow worked perfectly together. I noticed a bunch of reviews complaining about the service, but our servers were rather pleasant to us. We decided to try some: TOSTADA DE PANZA ATUN and TARTAR: The tuna belly tostada is an absolute must order. Best bang for your buck because they really loaded on the tuna belly. It was buttery and melted in your mouth. The tartar tostada was also very delicious and the sweetness of the avocado balanced out the flavors. CEVICHE DE CARRETA: The presentation was lovely and the server encouraged us to take a pic before we mixed the seafood into the sauce. The sauce was divine and every piece of seafood was fresh tasting. Could not get over how sweet the avocados were too! The blue corn tostada complementing this was one of the freshest tasting tostada we had this whole trip. Luckily they refilled our tostada basket constantly, because we were going through these like nothing. OSTION KUMAMOTO and CENIZA: Incredibly fresh! I believe most of their oysters are from Baja California or Baja California Sur. The oysters had a very subtle brine to it, but also very sweet and creamy. Actually loved the ponzu sauce more than a standard vinaigrette. CAMARONES FRITO: I'm usually pretty particular with my fried shrimps, but my god these were delicious! Somehow the shrimps were fried so well that the shell blended seamlessly with the meat. These were served with two types of sauces: a garlic aioli and ponzu. Both paired very nicely with the shrimp -- the ponzu being my favorite. This was the perfect amount for my party of 2. After experiencing the quality of food and atmosphere, I get why they're a Michelin guide recommendation. Campobaja turned out to be our favorite meal of this entire trip and had us running back to our friends to tell them about it. Would definitely return!
