My coworkers and I had a chance to roll up our sleeves, and get creative! The instruction was perfect, nice pace with just enough direction so that I knew what I was doing, yet I didn't feel like I was being told what to do. We had our own food brought in, but they offered us the space and extra water. We ate and painted, it was fun. I look forward to painting here again sometime.

Absolutely amazing experience !…read more My 10 year attended a baking class at the sprouts cooking school. This was her first time ever doing such a thing. She loved it. The class allowed the students to be independent "chefs" and work mostly independently under supervision. My daughter felt a since of accomplishment and developed more confidence in the kitchen after class. The best part (for me) was the food. Oh my gosh~ the food was AMAZING. They made a chocolate chip cookie cake with icing and a mini fruit pizza. Chocolate chip is not my favorite, however I had several bites. The cookie could not had been any more perfect. It was moist, soft and just delicious. At the end, the kids took the recipes home. The class started and ended on time. It was a great experience.

This class was for ages 3-13 and the kids learned to bake three recipes. The best part was that parents could drop off their children and head out for 2 hours of errands or a nice brunch! I was impressed right away by how bright and clean yet playful the space is. There is a wall along the back with 4 microwaves and 4 ovens which is perfect for some of the larger camp classes or the older kid's cooking classes. There is plenty of counter space with their large islands that hold a sink at one end and a convection stove top at the other. This class had little tables and chairs set up for the preschoolers while the older girls sat on stools around the island. Perhaps my favorite part of the kids cooking class was watching the teachers interact with the kids. They did a great job keeping the kids listening, learning, being safe and having fun all while baking! I know that can be a feat with just a couple kids at home! The way they interacted with the girls gave them confidence in continuing to bake at home.

She is youthful in the best way, encouraging and supportive. We laugh, I learn, and at the end of the lesson, I feel energized to go back into my life. I was originally afraid of looking silly taking voice lessons as an adult, but seriously...it's been the best thing, and Hannah is an amazing teacher!

I think this is my first time ever being a Y member! This…read moreis affordable and perfect for myself and kids. The location is super convenient which means we will get lots of use! So far we have been enjoying ourselves. We spend most of the time at the pool. The pool hasn't ever been crowded but we haven't been on the weekends. Every quarter til, they blow the whistle for "adult only swim". That is cool and makes the kids take a break and also I good time to leave if you can't get your kids away. We also signed up for swim lessons. I'm not a huge fan of the swim program this far. No opportunity to make up missed lesson and they are short staffed. We probably won't continue once school starts. The instructor seems to not be able to engage all kids in the group lesson and my kid did his own thing the entire 30mins. I attended a cycling class and that was fun. They have a "summer concert series" theme going on. Childcare is available and convenient. I love this option. There is a subway on site which we have used multiple times when we don't pack snacks for the pool. Over all, we love it here!

Our foodie group went to Mud Creek Players one Saturday afternoon after brunch to see the play "I…read morelove you, you're perfect . . .now change." This was my first time coming here to see a play, so I was looking forward to the performance. It has been a long time since I have seen a play at a local community theater, so this was a treat for me. The play did not disappoint me at all. The actors did a wonderful job with the performance. The play is based on a Broadway musical, and it had a little bit of everything from singing to acting with different skits throughout the play. I was laughing and even crying a little bit throughout the play. Mud Creek Players is a great venue in Indianapolis that offers community theater plays and sketches for entertainment. The interior is definitely like an old style stage and theater with a concession stand in the front. All proceeds from the concession stand sales go towards a foundation for the theater. It is a very nice venue and the staff are wonderful and friendly. The play was excellent and entertaining like I said earlier, and it was worth the ticket price of $20. I'm glad I was able to see a play here at Mud Creek Players, and will definitely come back here again to see a play because it was great entertainment for a Saturday afternoon. So glad Indy has culture available to us!

The audience was seated either at tables or were free to sit on the grass. Several groups brought blankets to spread out with some bringing food to eat while they watched the performance. It was a great low key performance. Although tickets were free they did need to be reserved in advance. And donations are accepted which I didn't realize until a friend noticed a small sign and basket on the way out. So if you go and enjoy the performance I'm sure donations are most welcome.

This weekend, I attended my granddaughter's soccer game. The inside smells a bit like gym socks, but the hard cider makes the smell tolerable. Spectator bleacher seating is uncomfortable, but the beer makes it tolerable. The place is loud, but the kids seem to be having fun, as was I. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. We are In the infant room and the ladies in there are amazing! Our first day, when we walked in they said "This must be Ella!"...this was a huge difference from the first day at the other daycare where no one was there to let me in the building. They are accurate with bottle feeding times and amount, diaper changes, and nap times. They send you a daily report about the activities she did and also how these activities help with her development. We also get a photo each day around lunch time! When I drop her off they are welcoming and she smiles so big. They also tell me every morning to have a great day at work! It's the little things. Great place and I would recommend it to everyone!
