There only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 to 11 and 1 to 3. For children ages 2 to 12 years old. When entering you have to check in at the kiosk or the front desk. The place that looks like a large treehouse with two different floors, three slides, and plenty of things to do within the treehouse. The top level with the two big slides are for kids 5 and up Because you have to climb a ladder to get to the second level. There is an area for the kids under two to play with all kinds of toys. Lots of things for kids to play on and play with such as a kitchen with all the fixing grocery carts that seem to be the most popular area. Also, there was a book rack that you could sit down and read a book and comfortable chairs and couches with large Ottomans. Blocks and small basket ball hoop. There is also a kitchen so parents you can get you a cuppa coffee or water or hot chocolate and watch your kids play. They also have snacks for the little ones, there is a refrigerator. The bathroom is in the same area so no leaving the room.

Everyone must also fill out a waiver and spectators must also pay to enter the slide area (which is different from other similar parks that I have been to. To save time, I recommend completing the waiver online. The place was very chaotic when I was there. There was kids all over the place. The lines for the slides did move relatively quickly though. The staff there, from top to bottom is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I was very impressed, especially considering that they deal with screaming kids all day. Great job to them and whoever does the hiring. For those having a party there, you are giving a dedicated table with a server. The party area is in an open fenced off area. They do not have party rooms. There are a few places in the play area for caregivers to sit while the little play, but those places few and far between. The slides there are awesome. They are huge and some can appear a bit intimidating. I wish I had a place like this when I was little. They also have a small zip line, a two basketball courts. There is also an area for little kids to play as well. I really like this places vibe. It is relatively clean and trendy, with big murals all over the walls. I sure hope that the Greenwood location, that they have been talking about for years opens soon. Either way, I am sure that I will be back to this place very soon.

I'm not sure if you can bring in your own food or not. Lastly, the adults can slide too if they want! If not, there are plenty of chairs, benches and take areas for you to sit. My daughter was upset we had to leave without the alpaca. We will definitely be returning again. They also do petting zoo and horse rides for parties. I was impressed enough that I texted three friends photos, told my wife to start planning our son's birthday party here, and was actively asking managers about upgrading to full access because I had just discovered the larger "Adrenaline" area. For context: it's Indiana winter, it was cold, and I had a hooded sweatshirt on with the hood up because I was freezing. During my 2 1/2-hour stay, I spoke with two managers about memberships--neither said a word about my hood. While walking around trying to keep up my child, I heard someone off to the side say, "Take your hood off." I approached the man, who asked me politely. I politely asked why it was a rule. His response was shocking: "So I can see your entire face on my 50 cameras." This was 11:30 a.m. on a Friday, not a packed weekend night. I turned away to continue looking for my child, removed the hood, and muttered "whatever dude" under my breath. That's when the situation escalated wildly. He charged toward me, yelling: "I'm the owner--if you don't like it, leave!" I had already complied. That wasn't enough. He then shouted: "I'll give you your money back!" And finally said something that truly crossed a line: "If there are off-colored people with hoods up and we ask them to take it down, what would that look like?" I'm still trying to understand why race was brought into this at all. Let me be clear: * The facility is great for kids * The staff and managers were wonderful * We were not leaving anytime soon until this happened But the owner's behavior was aggressive, unnecessary, and completely inappropriate. A simple rule explanation would've sufficed. Instead, it turned into a power trip with racial commentary that had no place in the conversation. Rules are rules--but how you enforce them matters. I'll take the refund. And I'll take my business elsewhere.

There's so much to explore and everything feels thoughtfully designed for kids to really interact and play, not just look. Even moving through with little ones felt manageable because there are so many engaging areas to stop and explore. If you have young kids and are in Indianapolis, this is an easy five-star outing. We're already looking forward to going back.

In this case, the 2023 Indy Shorts International Film Festival had a "camp" theme this year. As a result, the fine folks from Silly Safaris showed up at least a couple times showing off their fabulous animal actors including such beautiful wonders as Owlbert the Spectacled Owl, Chip the Bunny Rabbit, Ruffles the Screaming Hairy Armadillo, Radar the Fennec Fox, and a handful of others including a seriously ginormous snake. Their human counterparts handled the animals well and were entertaining, informative, and great despite the unusual settings - one was the kick-off event and the other was the awards night event. People loved the animals and everyone wanted photos. My favorites were the armadillo and the owl. Silly Safaris offers a variety of programs for a variety of settings including schools, libraries, birthday parties, and faith-based programs. They also offer sponsorship opportunities and even "safari shoutouts" where you can get an "animalgram" from one of their animals. This was so perfect for the camp theme, though it probably stretched the truth of what kinds of animals you might experience at an Indiana campout. Who cares? It was so much fun. While this is an obvious program for kids, I couldn't help but notice how much all the adults enjoyed this unique experience. Indy Shorts was just voted one of the 25 coolest film festivals in the world - this is exactly why right here. These kinds of events are a blast and a great way to balance out the demands of a busy film festival. If you get the chance, I'd definitely consider a Silly Safaris program.
