My Dentist went into Teaching, and I didn't know a thing about the Dentist that took his place. I didn't feel comfortable with someone I didn't know, but I had no choice. I called my original dentist which had retired four years ago. We are also personal friends. He did some research in my area for a new Dentist, and everything came back to Fisher Pointe. I have only had a cleaning so far, but I feel very confident in the abilities of Dr. Holtzman and her staff. The hygienist Stephanie, is fantastic. Everyone in the office is very nice.They have the best equipment and the latest technology available. Very friendly and attention to detail is second to none. This will be my Dentist. Never a fun time when you move to a new place and need to find all your spots again - nevermind during a pandemic! I moved in late 2020 and quickly found Fisher Pointe Dental and could not be happier. Nancy is a fantastic hygienist and Dr. Holtzman is terrific as well. This review is for dental exam and cleaning. This is a great neighborhood office, with parking. It was super easy to make an appointment that was convenient for me. They have a great website where you can provide all your information in advance, which led to practically no wait time when I arrived for my appointment. They were pretty fast with everything but not rushed, did a thorough cleaning, took images, and did the consultation with Dr. Holtzman in about an hour, maybe a little less. Everyone was very nice, and Dr. Holtzman took her time answering my questions and discussing a few things with me. What I really liked was that afterwards I had a few more questions that I emailed through the website about fluoride and some other items, and they responded very quickly. read more

Found my new family dentist and love her! Dr. Holtzman was welcoming, thorough and pleasant. The staff is wonderful and helped me get set up as a new patient super quickly so that I did not have to wait too long for my first exam and cleaning. The Office is comfortable and has Wi-Fi, bonus! Even though I hardly had to wait for my visit at all. Great website to help get started with the paperwork. I had been thinking of Invisiline or braces to correct a little bit of movement I've had since braces years ago. Dr. Holtzman was more than happy to take a few minutes and explain the process and whether I would be a candidate or not. I totally appreciated that, considering that was not part of my appointment. This dentist placed a implant in my mouth around 8 weeks later it fell out. She also placed many crowns in my mouth. A couple of her crowns had to be extracted. I paid the dentist 1000s of dollars. when her work starts to fail she wont return your calls. she has 3 very young children she has to much to handle. Opening up her new practice in Gross Pointe has changed her. She is rushed and appears to be on drugs at times. I had other problems with her crowns fallen out. This is a lady who isnt hurting for money. She doesnt stand behind her work. she is a very cold person. I should have knew just how cold she really is. I would suggest passing her right up. She can put on a good face. She can make you think she will take care of you. There people are the worse kind. read more

I've been a patient for years - I was a holdover patient when Dr. Jennings retired, and was curious to see if I'd stick around for the new dentist. I shouldn't have worried, because Dr. Holtzman has done a bang-up job with the practice - every aspect of the practice is top-notch. The entire staff of Fisher Pointe is fantastic: Cleaning is quick and painless, billing is a breeze, and Dr. Holtzman is great (plus she enjoys videogames, so that's always a good conversation)! Very rude and unkind. The only reason there is one star is because of the well mannered staff. I asked for periodontal advice and my options for persistence in receding gums, as I have several black triangles. She told me "Once gums are gone, they are gone. Once vision is gone, it is gone. I can see that you're upset, it might even be keeping you up at night." The nonchalant attitude was disturbing. No explaination or diagnosis for what or why is happening. Just sat there and looked at me coldly with a "what do you want me to do?" look. If someone is coming to you for help and expertise, and you cannot give them any, the least you can do is have common courtesy. Don't expect much of that when coming here. Everything about her branding screams: 'I don't care and, it is not my problem." read more
