    Signature Fish Taco Del Mar

A nice casual dining venue. One chicken and one cheese quesadillas were both a hit with the kids. My deep fried fish taco had nice crunch and fresh fish. The grilled fish taco reduces the calories, sacrifices flavor. The shrimp taco was also a hit. We subbed salad for rice and beans. The greens were fresh, but the dressing was too light. Good not great dining that was perfect for iur family with kids.

From the many times I've been to Fish Taco, I've found it to be one of the best fast casual sit-in mexican spot. Perfect for meeting family in town. Their atmosphere is very friendly and this location here is clean, and more spacious than the Tyson's VA location. I really commend the staff for keeping this place spotless. I had to convince my dad who is a vegetarian to go here, because of the brand name - they have vegetarian options if you're reading this. In any case, I have mostly tried their burrito bowls and it's fresh, healthy, flavorful, especially if you add their verde sauce. The chips are also pleasantly crisp and have that homemade feel to them.

Not going to lie and say the bar was set so low in my mind before coming in terms of good, quality fish tacos when baby sis said I should try this place. I was pleasantly surprised. Service was quick. Ambiance was vibrant and vivacious Food was on point. I got the fried fish tacos with a salad and we split the shrimp ceviche (could've used more shrimp please!). Yum! Thank you!

Fish taco was yummy. But the place was crowded and seating was difficult to get to eat in with a larger group. The tacos were great! Service was quick though. Would go back if I was ever in the area again!

They definitely own up on their name! I come by chasing a fish taco craving probably once a quarter lol and they always hit. The batter is great and not overdone, and the slaw is yummy. The staff is always really nice and unobtrusive, and the space is nice.

Casual vibes, fast service, tasty tacos! I went on a Tuesday eve, and it was fairly quiet so service was quick. I appreciated the outdoor patio seating - perfect for people watching (or sunset watching!). You order at the counter, but they bring food to the table and clear from the tables, so a step up from fast casual. I got a house marg, which was strong and just ok. The elote was a bit disappointing. The 4-street taco Tuesday deal was great, and the chips and salsa were SO GOOD. Some of the best, imo. I'll probably be back for a nice causal night out, but I'll try a different drink and skip the elote. Their salmon taco looked really good, so I'll be trying that next!

Fish tacos very delicious, though I wish there was more fish. I ordered online to pickup. I got one with salad and another with rice and beans. They were both delicious! I went back again the following week for more. Their guacamole and chips were also delicious. Everything tasted fresh. Loved the salsa sauce.

Fast casual with beer and margaritas! On a Friday evening it was packed but service was fast! My shrimp taco was perfectly balanced in flavor and texture with the slaw and sauces. The margarita was just perfect. Loved the salt! I cannot remember why I don't come here more often.

I stopped by fish taco on a busy rainy day. I ordered 2 chorizo tacos and 1 pork belly taco, 1 tres leches cake and 1 chips and queso appetizer. The tacos were pretty good. Nothing really stand out about it. Which was a little disappointing for $4.50 each. The chips and queso were the best part of my meal, that alone was delicious! The dessert which was a slice of cake with 3 leches was delicious. Presentation was pretty weak but it could just be because they were really busy on a rainy day. I would recommend to try this place.

I really liked the chips and salsa that they give for the table. The chips were warm. The salsa was unique and flavorful, and it got refilled after I finished the first batch, and was brought another round, which was great. Must've been hungry. I also got the free guacamole for getting the app and that was a good addition to the spread, but the star was definitely the Carne Asada. It was just cooked really well. The flavor was amazing and I totally would go back to just get that again and the chips. The waitress was good. The ambiance is quite nice actually. And you can pick where you wanna sit and the degree of lighting. There were areas where it was better lit, and then there were areas that were more dimly lit and something in between. People seem to just be having a good time without much fuss. Bathrooms were clean. Parking isn't the easiest, street parking or find a garage, but it's also not too far from the Bethesda metro station. Hoping to come back, not too far in the near future!

Wait staff is attentive without being annoying. Ashley did a great job as my primary server. I had a steak taco with cilantro and onion which was very good, and I also had the trio fajitas. It was very good, especially the steak was very tender and shrimp was a nice size. I have an issue with the auto 20% tip as well. That's why my experience isn't 5-stars. This maybe legally problematic if it's not legally noticed in advance so patrons know of their legal obligation to pay before ordering. I didn't read any notice in the menu or in the restaurant. I'm not an attorney so my comment is strictly my morbid curiosity. Overall, I had a good experience in the early Friday evening. I recommend their restaurant for good food and good service.

My friends and I were simply enjoying our drinks when a waitress named Libeth (a bottle girl) pushed one of my friends while moving through the crowded area. My friend reacted naturally to being pushed, without aggression or disrespect. After that interaction, Libeth appeared upset by his reaction and said something to him that I personally did not hear. A few moments later, she returned with two security guards and had us removed from the establishment without explanation or any attempt to communicate with us respectfully. When I tried to calmly ask what was happening and why such an extreme action was being taken, Libeth began screaming aggressively, saying: "Get the fuck out of here, bitch, get out." This situation was completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. We were humiliated and escorted out as if we had physically assaulted someone, caused a disturbance, or committed some serious misconduct, which never happened. We were simply customers there to enjoy the event, have drinks, and support the business. I do not understand how someone who is clearly not properly trained to handle high-stress customer service situations--especially during a crowded event like Cinco de Mayo--can represent a business where customer service should be a top priority. In a packed environment and dance floor setting, accidental contact between people can naturally happen without malicious intent. The behavior displayed by Libeth reflected extremely poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and a very low level of education in conflict resolution and customer interaction. No customer should ever be verbally abused, screamed at, or publicly embarrassed in this manner. Additionally, I am requesting a refund for the three tickets I purchased for my friends, as well as the drinks we paid for and were unable to finish because we were forced to leave the establishment without justification. If this matter is not resolved appropriately, I will proceed with disputing the charges with my bank as fraudulent in order to recover my money. Furthermore, I intend to report this terrible experience to consumer protection authorities if there is no proper resolution for my refund. If this employee behaved this way toward us without justification, it is very likely she may continue treating other customers the same way. I expect a prompt and professional resolution to this matter.
