We absolutely love coming! We have gone two times in a row. Bring quarters to feed the turtles and Koi. We also paid to go to the back to see the big snakes and other animals. The guys there are so good at telling you about all of the animals. You can also pay for them to feed some of the snakes, alligators and other animals. I had an amazing time here and highly recommend them for their experience and expertise in aquatic life. They have a great selection of exotic fish and reptiles. While the prices for some stock items are normal, others are a bit higher by a few dollars. The equipment and decorations are somewhat expensive, but nothing is overpriced to an extreme level. Walked around the store for about 12mins before I was asked if I needed help.... btw not much is priced, I feel like priced by who you are. Anyway... so I asked how much a tank was and he replied 699 this a 267.00 tank at most places. He told me that it was because the service I would get and that he had to pay local taxes lol He couldn't tell me how many gallons at first then once I said it looks like 18 he agreed and went with it. I bought 2 goldfish and 1 beta with food $36. Four days after my beta dies and I brought it to the store with my water sample. 1. They claim betas are not good with goldfish which I was told they where. 2. My water levels where off which is weird cause my other fish are swimming fine. 3. They said I was over feeding it could have cause the death of it. So they didn't offer to give a new fish or refund my $17 I payed for the dead beta. I will never buy fish here again. I've called three times over the course of two months to have someone come service my pond. While they told me their "pond guy" would get in touch, I've heard from no one. The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is because I've never bought anything from them. Past that, the tanks and fish look healthy and people I know swear by them. On top of that, there's a large variety of reptiles to see and, get this, a couple of four foot long catfish. These things could probably put your head in their mouths...they're HUGE! Even if you don't go to buy fish, bring the whole family, it's like a free mini-aquarium! read more

This is one of the best saltwater fish stores in west Texas. They have a great selection and if you can get to talk to Anthony he'll make you a good deal on corals and fish. He was very professional and willing to work a deal since I was buying multiple things. The others in the store do need more training on how to help customers feel welcome. Before I met Anthony I couldn't get any help yet saw and even talked to four other workers. When asking questions they couldn't answer. The one I talked to didn't know the names of fish and I had to correct him. The one drawback to this store is there's no prices on the livestock. When you walk in the store you see beautiful lit tanks everywhere, tons of supplys,everything is bright and shiny. What you do not see are the diseases these fish have, they run copper in most of their fish only tanks so you do not see disease. They lie to you to get you to buy more, take advantage of you if you are not 100% schooled up about corals or other saltwater invertebrates. I have wasted around $300 dollars the last few weeks for all the things to either die, eat each other or look horrible. Beware of buying fish from them, beware of buying anemonies from them. They sell bleached bubble tip anemonies and fish with disease you will not catch until they are dead. Don't let them try to sell you a condylactis anemone with your clownfish, because "condys" eat clownfish as well as other living things in the tank. They will claim that "never happens", when clearly it happened to me. Never trust these people for live animals. Especially when you can to go petco and pay 1/4 of the price for a better fish. read more
