We've stayed customer due to our history using this shop. But today was the final straw. We had hogs butchered in July, when we picked them up some of the product was missing from what we had wanted. We informed them that there was a lack of product. They said they were sorry that someone else must have put our product into someone else's order and they would get it to me next week or so. I said sounds good I'll keep in touch. So from August till November I called every week to get our meat back. They gave me the run around telling me they haven't had any hogs in or that the customers canceled orders so they haven't had anything come thru. I even went down there once because they said they had it. Once I got there they didn't have anything for me and the whole group of employees seemed to not even know what I was talking about. They gave me dog bones for the misunderstanding and said give us another week. Well today is the day. I called like I usually do and asked for the product where the gentleman told me to call back at the end of the week or next week and check back. It's been 4 month and nothing has been compensated. I'm very disappointed in their lack of communication... I've talked to multiple employees and no one had a clue about my order being mishandled. Ive been very patient and understand mistakes happen.. but making promises and not keeping them is really frustrating. So del Monte you can keep at this point I am done giving your company business and my families business aswell. I hope those reading this and have done business with them in the past or plan on doing business with them to go someplace else and if you do keep doing business with them please make sure all of your products are there.

We ordered their pork shank with mushrooms and mashed pototoes. The pork shank was perfectly cooked. It was so tender that no knife was needed. My wife liked both the potatoes and French fries. I also ordered a small dinner salad. The salad was fancy salad with bay shrimp. Ranch dressing was perfect for the salad. Bread was also provided, but, not eaten. One order of their pork shank plus an extra salad was enough to feed both my wife and I. The Sandpiper was a good find for me. Great service as a takeout customer. Great food. The food probably would taste even better if we ate there.

We have lived in 11 states over the last 23yrs, I can honestly say this is probably my favorite store ever, definitely top 3 for sure(up there with HEB of TX & Woodman's of WI). I enjoy the variety, HEB/Woodmans were huge warehouse like stores that always had everything, this is a small store but with constantly rotating stock that gives it the variety of a much larger store :-) Not sure if this is the store or Idaho Falls, but about a month ago I left my wallet at the store, likely in a cart(I think I left it in the cart, hubs loaded groceries in the car & didnt realize I hadn't taken it with me-oops), someone turned it in. Same condition I left it, nothing missing-not even the cash or "special coins" I was holding for the kids. Another amazing testament to the store & its customers :-)
