I am sure that my fellow reviewers are speaking truth when they are talking about the wonderful experiences they have had at the Cedar St location. However, I would argue that some serious quality control must be done at the satellite location, especially if they are to carry the name and image of an established business. To have a location ruin the reputation of your business by serving stale donuts and poorly made coffee is incredibly disappointing, especially when the reviews of the main location are so promising. The idea that the quality and experience found at the main location should extend to the satellite by the same name should be a standard belief. Most of the donuts at this store were stale before the morning rush was over, and I was served an iced vanilla latte that tasted as though rotten coffee beans had been ground into an espresso concentrate so foul it carried its own aura of bitterness. While I am sure the main location provides a quality experience worth paying for, something must be done to ensure that the satellite location has the same quality control and is able to provide the same experience.

I would prefer maybe adding some sour cream or heavy cream to add some smoothness. The brown gravy was salty as well. The tater tot's were, tater tots. I ordered the banana cream pie for dessert. It was ok. There were few bananas, the whipped cream was not sweet enough, and the pudding mix did not have enough banana flavoring. Today, June 14, 2026 we got there and there were plenty of tables open and plenty of servers but no busboys, servers were cleaning tables and so was the receptionist. We were told 10 minutes it was 20 and they weren't seating people because tables weren't cleared and there was discussion as to who was supposed to get the next patrons. We finally got to sit down, ordered and waited 41 minutes to be served. Last week we walked out due to the wait. The week before we waited over an hour to be served because they were busy filling take out orders, ridiculous. So IHOP was making money but the servers weren't making tips, bad practice if you want to keep employees. The servers are great, polite, apologetic over and over. Management not so much. need more busboys, maybe even another cook, need to clean tables and seat people faster, don't put take out orders ahead of sitting paying customers. IHOP has lost our business for now.
