OMG!!!! The greeting was excellent! The service from Reese was above and beyond waitressing. Our food was nice and hot. Served in a timely fashion. Coffee was always filled. Upon finishing our meal, Reese asked if there's anything we would like or anything that we think she (Reese) can do for us ? Absolutely not! You have been an excellent waitress. Above and beyond! She smiled and said thank you! We brought our leftovers back to our room where we're staying. Gonna eat this delicious food later for lunch! OMG!!! I can't understand how we got the worst and best restaurants I. Pocatello in one morning! . Thank you so much Teese and ButterBurr's for making us and I'm sure many other patrons full, content and happy! PS: we were in awe after we received our order and began to eat and most of our meal was eaten before we thought of taking a photo but, trust me, ButterBurr's is extremely wonderful to eat. The price?? Very reasonable as well! Loved our visit! Definitely our new 'go to' place, regardless of distance, is our place to go. Thank You!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

We were exhausted after 12+ hours of traveling to get there and so happy that we could DoorDash. The food was delicious. We got pancakes, a Cobb salad, and hash browns. The salad came with a cinnamon roll bread that was really good. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely go to the restaurant to try different things and have some pie!

Being both a "college town" and an "old-money town" Pocatello has more than it's fair share of…read moregreat coffee shop cafes. The competition keeps all of them reaching. Some reach for the best internet cafe vibe, while others strettchhh to be like Bru House Galilei. It takes a few left turns navigating one-way streets to get there, and parking can result in a little bit of a walk, but that's a minimal price for the reward. Being a corner building gives It full opportunity to be creative with a branching layout, with sidewalk seating on the W. Wyeth side. As soon as we walked through the door on N. Main, the calm of the dimly lit maze set on us like a warm blanket. With just enough windows and glass doors here and there to let in light, which shows paths to the cozy little intimate tuck aways of seating. The walls invited our eyes, busy with canvasses (which you can purchase) by local artists. The art is great, but I was pretty hungry and in need of caffeine!, so I decided to let photos talk about the art. Scanning the display case of some fresh and tasty looking goodies, and taking a look at the brief Made-To-Order breakfast menu, we decided on some food, and coffees. Taimee and Michael were ready to make this experience an undeniable "the best" contender. They are truly "Top-Shelf" staff. Taimee, the knowledgeable and quick one was gone lickity split--back in their little kitchen nook cooking up our eggs and other breakfast items. Meanwhile Michael's adept barista skills crafted us some wonderful, rich and nutty coffee & espresso drinks. With several areas to sit, at sturdy tables all showcasing stories, we decided on the main step-up, railed "overlook lounge." Sitting by a front window gave us a good view throug the place while we ate. I never knew a little nook kitchen, using counter-top appliances could borne a chef! The food Taimee made back there was neat and well presented. Most importantly it tasted fantastic! Quality fresh-cracked egg, meaty & tasty sausage, topped by a nippy cheese on an english muffin--"The Sunrise Breakfast Sandwich," followed by the most amazing and unique bread pudding I have ever eaten. It's made in-house by one of them bright and early. Michael being the cordially smooth front-face one, gave us some history of the place, and guided me back to take some vid-pics of the "postage stamp kitchen." I left there knowing that Bru House is the one to beat! Thanx for reading. Pictures say a thousand words.

I seen the cook look at us then went and told the hostess that people are waiting. She hurried up to the front and sat us down. Shortly after sitting, the new waitress, who was in training came over and asked what we'd like to drink. I ordered coffee and my wife ordered a water. After several minutes in there and we ate the only one of three tables where people are so, figuratively, there wasn't anyone inside but three tables so, service should've been done in a normal or faster time but, sitting in there while waiting for our drinks, we heard the manager and two of the waitresses and the new waitresses in training so four in total talking and blasting and talking shit about other coworkers and people they know and stuff. Well, I heard enough of their gossip shit. Got up and went to them and told the manager '"I'd like to have my coffee and water we order several minutes ago". The Manager and new server apologized and said we'll be right there. Piss me the hell off for sure but, it gets better. The waitress in training came over. Took or order the best she could. It seemed as if it was her first day. That was okay because I know with proper training, she will be much better soon, assuming her training is how to give proper service and not who has the most and best gossip. Our order came about 10 minutes later. Guess they had to go out and get an egg from the chickens. Anyways, my bacon was burnt. My sausage link was undercooked. My ham? No problem. They slice a piece off warmed it up and tossed it on my plate. The hash browns??? Totally shit! Hard. Tough. Should use a serrated knife to cut my hash browns. My egg? Cooked with other eggs the cut off and placed one egg on my plate. Must have been ready for us for a while because when I got my order, the pancake was barely warm enough to melt a small amount of butter in the middle. You can see that there's still butter on my pancake that wouldn't melt. My wife had had eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. Her was the same! Our hash browns and meats tasted and felt like they were cooked yesterday and not this morning. We gave our plates back with most of the food still on it. Not able to eat. I told the waitress in training that next time she sees food like this, especially burnt bacon, you should question the cook about this bacon and if it's really ready to send out. The manager came over and said that 'I'll just take one meal off your ticket and I'm sorry about that'. I told her, the manager whose name I forgot to ask but, I told her I've been in customer service for many years and telling you that you should fire your cook. You should be reprimanded for letting home cook like that and the waitress needs to have to knowledge and guts to ask the cook about the food that's going to be served to our customers. The smile and cocky ass attitude that manger had when she first came to talk to us quickly went away after I told her she should be reprimanded. Bottom line is this. If corporate doesn't step in and make some serious customer service changes, that ihop location will be going outta business due to no patronage. No one's fault but management and corporate. Let's see what happens. This is what I sent back from my order that I couldn't eat. Horrible. I feel sorry for anyone else that experiences this same as we did, I'm sorry for that. This was a waste of money. Cold pancake. Undercooked sausage. Burnt bacon and horrible hash browns.
