I came tonight with a group of 15. There were a few other large groups there tonight. I had the…read morefried shrimp with coleslaw, hush puppies, roasted corn medley, and a side salad. The salad was mixed field greens with tomato and cucumber. It was a nice size and served in a bowl. The balsamic dressing was nothing special, but it was good. The fried shrimp were very good. I could not finish them, but they were very good. The coleslaw was very good. It did not have sugar in it. The roasted corn medley was also very nice. The hush puppies were hot and fresh. I did not taste the cake or any of the food in the pictures, but the others in my party were very complementary of their dishes. We ate on the open air deck part of the restaurant. The weather was perfect and the ambiance was lovely. The service was friendly and attentive. The only downside to the service was not the server's fault. She was asked by a few in our party how spicy a dish was or other details about various menu items. She was honest in her reply that she had never eaten the dishes. She was obviously new, but she should have been more familiar with the menu items. Again this was not her fault. Management trains or doesn't train their servers. All and all, I would visit this venue again.

What a treasure, we found tonight. We will be back and take others with us…read more Steam shrimp 4.8 * Fried shrimp 5* Pork chop 5*++ Marissa 4.8*. I'll ask for her every time. Being on the lake is relaxing!! Matt has done it right!!!

I love Korean food and I love Bibinbop- not sure how to spell. First the positive. Food was good…read moreand there was a lot of it. They also provided free green tea for the table. Negative. The food was cold. I ordered with the hot stone and the only thing that was hot was the fried egg on top. I love when the rice gets burned a bit on the bottom but was barely warm. It was also supposed to be beef and veggie. I think I found two small pieces of beef. For service you ring a bell which is weird. We sat in the middle of the room and you would think they would at least check on you. And did I mention the live ROACH we found on our table? We told them and they just had us switch tables. Ughhhh

Surprised to find good Korean restaurants in LaGrange - quite unexpected. And quite delicious I…read moremight add! We had the B8: grilled petrale sole (fish), which was quite tasty. I personally prefer grilled mackerel (B9) but my friend wanted the sole. Still didn't disappoint. We had the chicken teriyaki which I wouldn't normally order if I wasn't on a diet. We got sauce on the side and I salt and peppered it, still good. Our table also ordered the Tonkatsu (which has huge portions, two layers of deep friend pork), C7: Bone-in Haejanguk (hangover soup), and C2: Bulgogi in a hot pot. They both looked and smelled delicious and our friends loved it. All in all, I have no doubt that almost everything here would be good. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in town!

Anniversary dinner- hoping for something a bit special. Very small place, so you would think they…read morecare. Service was polite, satisfactory. We ordered mussels to share. 12 good sized mussels, flavorful broth, very garlicky. Lukewarm. Server didn't bring bowls for shells or proper small forks.Three small pieces of plain toasted French bread slices to sop up broth- not enough, no flavor. I ordered the duck and asked specifically for medium well with crispy skin. Came medium rare with soggy skin under a raspberry purée. I couldn't eat it, but didn't bother sending it back. If they can't even try to get it right the first time, why bother. My husband ate mine and I ate his pork chop- dry, no flavor. They didn't have any decaf coffee and server offered to brew a pot of regular coffee. For gods sake get a keurig. Creme brûlée was tasteless. Overall a below than average performance for a "fine dining" establishment. Won't go back.

The oysters appetizer was too chewy to eat. Another person ordered the chicken pot pie dish the crust was way overcooked and tasted old. I had the Porkchop dish was ok kind of tuff and overcooked. Save your money and go to Waffle House. Oh yeah and it took over an hour just to get the appetizers as well.
