The inspection itself appeared to be thorough and identified a minor issue that the dealer addressed before delivery. In that sense, the inspection definitely added value and gave me peace of mind. My main criticism is the reporting. For the price ($365), I expected more than a checklist and a raw diagnostic scan. An executive summary with the inspector's overall impression ("buy," "buy after repairs," etc.) and a brief explanation of the significant findings would have made the report much more useful. As it stands, I had to interpret most of the information myself and follow up with questions afterward. Communication could also be improved. There were a couple of times when I was told I would receive a phone call that never came. I understand schedules get busy, but I appreciate updates when expectations are set. Overall, I would use them again because I believe the inspection itself was solid, but I hope they continue improving the quality of the final report and communication.

The problem only showed up after the engine was hot and had been turned off for a while, so I don't fault them for not catching it before selling it at all. Anyways... I called them and they sent someone all the way up from Texas to come get the boat and fix it. They ended up having to replace some major components at a considerable expense to them. They did it all free of charge and have been very responsive to my questions and concerns. It is so rare to find a company that stands by their word and does the right thing even when it's detrimental to their bottom line. I'm a lifelong customer now for sure! It's been 4 plus hours and no end in sight. His technician is not available and Mr. Preston will do the job himself WITHOUT the RELAY. - Mr. Preston is very argumentative and can't or won't tell me when he will complete the job. I'm stranded in Addison Foxhole waiting room. What an experience. I paid Addison Foxhole $159 after the first installation attempt. Addison Foxhole won't refund my money and advised me that this was his shop and he was working as fast as he could. As I said BUYER Beware!!! If the system would have let me I would have rated Addison Foxhole a zero rating if I could have.
