Our boat partially sank in our slip at the beginning of the season. The owners of M&M Marine were working late that night and were gracious to take time to discuss what we were looking at. They were very professional with our insurance adjuster to help offset some of the costs in repair. Having just come out of Covid everything is backed up. We called 3 other boat service locations and they could not even diagnose our boat for a month let alone store it for us. Denise and Steve are the fabric of what this country is made of - HARD WORK. They are the epitome of hard workers and are true small business owners. This is not a shop that will candy coat and make you feel special - they don't have time to stroke you - they are fixing broke boats! If you need to be stroked - go elsewhere. Our boat is running great, the attention to detail and caliber of service we received is spot on! We would highly recommend M&M to anyone who appreciates hard workers, has the patience to understand they are not the most important request, and they can only do as much as a small business can do. I called and told this business what I wanted repaired on my boat. This was a simple repair of three items. He asked sarcastically what I wanted to accomplish and when I said I wanted to get the boat in the water, he said he doesn't know anything about me. I told him the boat was shipped to Denton from California and started to give him details about the boat. He said he does not know who I am and whether he had worked on my boat before and again asked what I wanted to accomplish and I again told him it was to get the boat back on the water. I discontinued the conversation without scheduling service for my boat. I have never reviewed anything but I felt I was treated rudely and not in a way how someone who is trying to get your business treats you. read more

Refused to do a simple carburetor rebuild today. Got an estimate last year for a few easy items including oil changes and water impeller replacement and his price was so high (about $3000) I just did it all myself in 2 hours and a grand total of $275 in parts. read more
