He decided to google "mobile mechanic" and found SS Marine. Brandon, the owner & operator of SS Marnie, called him the same day and was at the lake the next day to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem. He quickly figured out it was the starter. We discussed the parts to order (OEM or aftermarket) and a few days later he was back out installing the parts and my boat runs/starts great now. He is a true life saver!!! Last summer I was out in the Gulf off the coast of Peridido Key Florida when the oil pump on my Yamaha motor malfunctioned causing it to shut down. I found a boat last week that I liked . I knew it wouldn't last long but I wanted to have a pre buy…read moreinspection done first and needed it quick . I called DALLAS BOAT SERVICE and explained my situation. They agreed to squeeze me in the next day ! I met the boat owner there the next day hoping it would pass inspection and arranged to have a full annual service done should it pass. Much to my delight , not only did it pass but the inspector ( and shop owner ) said it didn't need any service and that it's good to go ! Wow , that's honesty for you. Additionally, after I concluded the purchase of the boat I picked up the boat from the Dallas Boat Service yard which they graciously let me keep in their boat yard . I discovered the trailer light plug did not match my truck . Again , the shop owner went above and beyond and gave me the right adapter and even hooked it up for me. I can't recommend this shop enough ! The owner and his wife are so nice and helpful ! This will be my go to for all my future boat service needs !
