I'm guessing my first time to another location didn't blow me away. But this location served up a delightful breakfast/brunch not to be missed. Everything was tasty and flavorful and it was a great choice for us!

We went here for breakfast and were really impressed by the service and quality of their food. There was a line out the door when we came on a Sunday around 10am but luckily we didn't have to wait long and were seated pretty quickly since there were only two of us. Ordered the kale tonic and that was pretty good. The Chicken pesto bowl was flavorful but the portion was a little disappointingly small. Their french toast was fluffy and tasted almost like angel food cake. That dish was pretty delicious and had a larger portion.

First Watch their commitment to quality and sourcing exceptional ingredients never skips a beat. We got seated from the wait-list, definitely a must use they get busy here! This place is poppin for breakfast for sure. I got the Traditional breakfast with waffle, scrambled eggs, and chicken patty. They are quick, fast, and the service was spot on!

We were able to go to Forst Watch today. I won a gift card during summer school for my contributions to summer school , very kind and sweet to be recognized. We are actually very familiar with Forst Watch, my husbands first cousin worked there for many years at the original location on I 17. This was our first time at this location, we were able to watch them build this one everyday on the way to work at Sunburst. Super cute location. Decorated so cute inside and kept super clean and bright, inviting. We ordered Salmon Eggs Benedict with breakfast potatoes, Farmers Veggie Skillet and the Lemon Blueberry Cornbread and Blackberry Tea. Amber was great and took the best care of us. We didn't need to ask for refills, she was always ready with drinks and courtesy. She is great, everyone was. Friendly and welcoming. Fun Brunch date and fun to try a new location.

There are so many great breakfast restaurants around Phoenix, though when it comes to First Watch, I have learned it is a chain of breakfast restaurants that is consistent, offers great food, and has some wonderful deals here and there. While I typically frequent other First Watch locations, I stopped by this location for brunch today with a colleague as the location is just across from the ASU West Valley Campus, and my colleague was craving First Watch. This was my first time visiting this location. First Watch serves breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They have a Jump Start menu with unique dishes along with a juice bar, iced coffee, breakfast cocktails, healthier side dishes, EGG-sclusives, omelettes & frittatas, from the griddle items, power bowls, salads, sandwiches, a kids' menu, and small plates and sides. My colleague ordered the Avocado Toast (thick-cut whole grain artisan toast, fresh smashed avocado, EVOO, lemon and Maldon sea salt with two basted cage-free eggs), and I ordered the Farmhouse Hash (2 cage-free eggs atop fresh, seasoned potatoes, bacon, avocado, house-roasted onions and tomatoes, Cheddar and Monterey Jack and served with whole grain artisan toast). I chose to have my eggs scrambled, and I had the avocado on the side to give to my colleague. The entire dish was tasty, and the toast complemented the meal well. I checked in using the app though it wasn't necessary as there was no wait. We were immediately seated and served rather quickly with a short wait until the meals were served. We appreciated the good service and tasty food! I certainly recommend to others that they consider using the app and checking in online, which allows us to jump to the front of the line. Special tip...go to https://firstwatch.com and at the bottom right of the page where it says "Love Brunch? Join the club," enter your e-mail address and eventually your birthday to start getting Buy One Get One Free promotions during the year at random times including around your birthday. Nothing better than a free brunch!

Scrambled eggs with turkey sausage and fruit cup

Stopped in for a quick breakfast then it was very enjoyable. The eggs were not dry Which is my major pet peeve when getting scrambled eggs. They were cooked to perfection. The turkey sausage links I highly recommend is they are very fresh and very good and had no Frozen taste in them. I also had a fruit cup with strawberries grapes and pineapple which was an excellent finish to a really great breakfast. Our server was excellent and made a very enjoyable time.

Came on a Monday afternoon for brunch and overall a pleasant experience. I ordered one of the fall special menu items, the honey chipotle chicken hash. I also ordered a side of multigrain toast. While all the food was delicious, I have some issues. The hash had 1150 cal in it, and I have zero understanding as to how this could be the case. When I ordered the toast, I assumed that I would get two pieces cut in half, but I got one piece of bread, that was cut in half and buttered, barely toasted. When our food came out originally, the toast did not come with it. I asked the gal who dropped our food off for the toast, and she gave me an attitude and said this doesn't come with toast. And I responded with, yes, I know, but I ordered a side of toast. She brought it back and nearly slammed it on the table. I don't think she was having a good day. That single slice of toast was $2.95. Well, I understand that food costs are growing, that is kind of outrageous. The hash was really good, but I cannot believe the amount of calories.

First time at this new location. Very good service. Had the chili chorizo omelet served with potatoes and toast. All good here.

First Watch has an extensive menu selection and even a seasonal special menu. I went for brunch on a Sunday around 9am and easily got a seat without waiting but noticed shortly after that it really filled up and by the time I left people were waiting for tables. Service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive. The ambiance was good and bustling. The only reason for three stars was the selections we had were average, there could be other really great things on the menu. The lemon blueberry cornbread looked really good but I didn't get it. I got the market hash and my mom had the French toast. Both were good but not great. I do appreciate that they had real maple syrup but you had to pay extra. Bloody Mary was also average. Not spicy enough for me, I had to add hot sauce and salt. Overall it was a good breakfast but not a memorable one.

The place to grab breakfast, brunch or lunch. We enjoyed brunch at First Watch near ASU West, the staff were friendly and attentive, the food was so delicious and we enjoyed the variety of dishes that appeal to everyone. We split the market hash, veggies egg and multigrain toast, the BEC (bacon, egg, cheese) breakfast sando served with a greens salad, and AM superfoods, a bowl of coconut chia pudding, topped with fruit and granola and served with toast and nut butter. Their juices are fresh squeezed, so the mimosa was perfect and not too sweet. The servers were on point, our experience at First Watch was awesome and can't wait to go back.

I'm not very impressed with the customer service at this First Watch on Thunderbird and 43rd Avenue. It seems that either management struggles to find quality waitstaff or isn't hiring the right people. I eat breakfast every day and live right across the street, so I could easily be one of their most loyal customers. I've visited about eight times since it opened, hoping the service would improve, but nothing has changed. I genuinely hope they succeed and stay in business--the reviews aren't terrible, but they're far from great. Just because this location is small doesn't mean it can't be better. I'd still rather drive to Over Easy, U.S. Egg, or even Denny's than walk across the street to eat here. For first responders or military members, Denny's offers a better selection with a 15% discount, and U.S. Egg along Bell Road serves higher-quality food with a discount as well. I've been to the ASU campus First Watch, and their staff and atmosphere are much better, with friendlier service and a stronger team dynamic. If management here addressed staffing and service issues, I'd happily support them as a daily customer.

I haven't been to a First Watch that I haven't just enjoyed. Here's another one that is also in that list! Service was fast and on point! I had the Pesto chicken quinoa bowl. Chicken, quinoa, kale, feta and Basil pesto. Yummo! Others had soup and salads. Everybody liked what they had. Another First Watch home run!

    Eggs Benedict, classic.

I had passed by this place many times. So wanted to give it a chance. Forgive me if I seem to ramble. I want to give you as much of my impressions as possible. First off, get there before 8am. I did and starting about 8:20 there was a line. Next, I really liked the hostess. She was nice, funny and seated me quickly. Fron where I was seated, she coordinated the customer's coming in. She was professional, polite and the perfect first impression. The atmosphere was open, bright and just enough "sustainable" to make anyone comfortable without going overboard. I liked that they left a craft of water and coffee. I ordered Eggs Benedict. Honestly I was a little worried. The last time I had that, didn't sit will with me. I want to make clear, it was not here. Another place, miles away and years ago. I got my meal with its potatoes and I was pleasantly surprised. They had mixed onions in with the potatoes! Needed a bit more onions, but I only know one other place that did that and I love it! I wish more places did that. My meal was good. I was checked on. All in all, very good. The music was just loud enough but you could still have a decent conversation if you want. Now the nit picking. My cushion seat was NOT comfortable. Bring a pillow. The water glass is small. I guess thats why they bring you a craft of water. Coffee could be better, but then I'm used to Folgers so who am I to judge. The sugar packets were those small tubes. Ok, all in all, a good meal. Nice atmosphere. Good service. This would be a great place for a party between 2-5. The food is good as I said and reasonably priced for organic, sustainability, or whatever you want to call it. I do recomnend.

What kinds of alcoholic beverages are offered here? There isn't a menu anywhere that has them on there!

They had brunch type cocktails...mixed fruity drinks with alcohol. I didn't look at them all but the first one I saw had tequila.

The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

We split buttermilk pancakes and a cinnamon roll. They do have real maple syrup but of course they up charge for the good stuff. The pancakes are ok but don't taste like buttermilk pancakes. They looked good but it definitely tasted like a mix and not a good one. They were way overly sweet. They weren't terrible but just not great. 4/10 on the pancake scale. The cinnamon roll also tasted like a store bought premade roll. It was also kind of burnt and didn't taste like anything. The only good thing was the coffee which I was highly skeptical about because it was serve yourself from a carafe. But it was good and strong. The staff was friendly throughout our stay, and the overall property has a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy the sunshine and scenery. We booked an upgraded suite with a separate bedroom and TV room, which gave us plenty of space to spread out. While the layout was great, the room itself could use some updates. The bathroom fixtures were older--the Kohler toilet didn't flush well and was a bit noisy, and the tub/shower combo had rounded sides that made it tricky to stand comfortably. The shower water also never got fully hot. The room had a slightly musty smell, and the carpets would benefit from a deep cleaning. The balcony screen door didn't close tightly, which let a few flies in, and access to the second floor required two sets of stairs since there's no elevator in that section. Even with those issues, the resort's location, views, and overall vibe made the stay enjoyable. With some room refreshes and a bit more maintenance attention, this could easily be a standout property. The setting alone is worth experiencing.

I found a great AAdvantage Hotel deal at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort and booked it. While it was a great success of a visit in terms of AAdvantage miles and loyalty points, my actual experience at the hotel itself was less to be desired due to the customer service and a big snafu on their part. I also have Hilton Gold status, though as I booked the hotel through a third party site (AAdvantage Hotels), I could see the stay and the stay history in my Hilton app, but I did not receive any benefits for staying there, which was fine as I didn't expect any anyone. I arrived in person to check in and already reserved and prepaid for a King 1 Bedroom Standard Suite, which had a nice view and reasonably spacious room (but not too much larger than a regular room at another hotel). The room was certainly not upgraded though there was parking available right in front of the entrance. I did not receive anything else at check-in nor did it appear that I'd get my regularly complimentary water. I did pay the daily resort charge which includes high speed internet access, access to the Falls Water Village, an hour at the tennis/pickleball court, an hour at the afternoon golf practice facility, two hours for a mountain bike rental, 20% off seasonal spa services, and 15% off select golf apparel. While I didn't use it, I had easy view and access to the Falls Water Village where you could lounge and play all day on their sun-marked terrace where you could find free-form pools, hot tubs, and cabanas. They even have a 138-foot enclosed water slide. When I checked out, I was told that a bill would be sent to me shortly since I did it on the app early, and when I received the bill, there was a charge for my room at the restaurant at the top of the hill called A Different Point of View. The catch is that I never went to eat there during my stay (or at any onsite restaurant since I live in the area and had my meals offsite). I reached out to the hotel who insisted that I did go there to eat. I promised them I didn't eat anywhere onsite and that they need to look at the receipt and see if it actually has my room number. They confirmed it did and that this meant I ate there. I told them to find my name on it and let me know if it was on there. After several more back and forth conversations, they confirmed it wasn't me and would remove the charge. They then mistakenly charged me double. Then they removed one charge, but it took more than a week before they removed the other charge. By the end of the exchanges, it felt like they were blaming me for their own mistake. While the resort is aged and rather pleasant, there certainly are training issues regarding the customer service offered at this property. I do not plan on staying here again in the future.
