    Chicken Avocado Chop salad
    Audrey D.

Went here for a work lunch. Speed was perfect for the lunch hour- everything came quickly & fresh. Server was attentive but not annoyingly so. Everyone else in my group had breakfast; I had a salad. The breakfast potatoes looked amazing and the bacon was crispy. My salad was tasty & thankfully not drenched in dressing. The one star deduction is because this place just comes across as generic. Nothing seemed special or unique. It's just a standard breakfast chain with food you can get anywhere. Food is good; it's not special.

Tried First Watch for breakfast and had a bit of a mixed experience. The space itself is beautifully decorated with a clean, modern vibe that definitely stands out from your typical breakfast spot. The food was quite good, fresh and flavorful - but the pricing felt a little steep for standard breakfast fare. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the atmosphere. We felt rushed and a bit overlooked, like we were just another table to get in and out quickly. It took away from the overall experience. Great setting and decent food, but the service left something to be desired.

This location has parking around the building and is part of a shared plaza. We tend to drop in early in the morning before the morning rush starts so we are seated quickly and are able to order right away. I like the variety of seasonal options. The service is always friendly and efficient. There is lots of natural light which gives it an open feel even when it is busy. One of the reasons we like first watch is the quality of the ingredients and consistency in quality, experience and taste across various locations. I got the traditional breakfast with chicken sausage, over easy eggs, potatoes and gluten free toast. The price and portion size are good. I really like the chicken sausage patty and my husband likes their turkey links.

Dirty glass and had a terrible odor

HIGHLY DO NOT recommend this location. Service was rushed, our table could not get a word in to our server. On top of that this is the second time this location has given me DIRTY cups. Love First Watch breakfast but will never return to this location.

This location is pretty big and breakfast never takes very long so there are lots of seats available and the wait isn't too bad! The motto here is "yeah it's fresh" so they place an emphasis on using real ingredients that taste good. The menu is large and there is something for everyone!

First Watch is one of the first restaurants centered around the fancy brunch only craze in Louisville. Now they have franchises all around but they are usually consistent. Their food is always Instagram worthy but has good flavor. The service is always quick even if they are slammed. I love the down home country decor.

First watch is always solid! You'll likely never be wowed by the food but it's a great place to meet friends and the food is solid. Service is always on par and it's got a fun ambiance. The seasonal menu offers some variety and is worth checking out. My go to is the Farmhouse. Solid hash with ample portions. The multigrain toast is a winner as well. Their preserves take it to the next level. Kids menu has enough variety for picky eaters. Can eat outside, if that's what's you prefer. The patio has a wonderful view overlooking Goodwill's parking lot. But does offer a outdoor place to sit on beautiful spring/summer am's.

First Watch..... An homey farm vibe location. It gives you a fresh farm to table type of menu. But, I don't think that's the case. Since it was breakfast, of course the food was quickly prepared. I had regular coffee, which to my surprise was very good. I love the idea of the communal table, but with COVID it didn't seem like the best idea. The wait on a busy Saturday morning was only 15 minutes I will definitely be headed back again. Decor: farm house chic, tables are kinda close together The carrot cake pancakes were amazing I give it 4 stars for a small misstep on my order and also for the cleanliness at the time we got there. Yummy, quick option for breakfast.

I ALWAYS look forward to coming to first watch-no matter the location. :) We frequent the Breckenridge location (for proximity), but the hurstbourne is just as good. I can't wait to try the one on Taylorsville they just opened! Today I stopped in just to get their kale and beet juice to go. They were so friendly and made it very easy- in and out in 5 mins. Everything I have had here has been delicious and it's just a good place to go alone or with a group. So many options of food to choose- from classic breakfast / brunch to funky pesto kale bowls (my favorite!!!). Another more breakfast favorite of mine is the Floridian! It's French toast with so many different fruits and a berry compote!! Mouth watering :) The juices are so delicious as well.

First watch could be so much more. The aesthetic is nice but the food is meh. I ordered a roast beef sandwich with horseradish sauce. The bread was great! The shaved beef was not tender, not juicy, not ideal. The servers we interacted with were awesome! I initially ordered the tortilla soup and it was soooo bad. I requested fries instead. They honored the request with no questions. I always feel bad but when something is inedible, you have to do it. There are much better breakfast options in the city.

Stopped in here for breakfast on a PTO day. Nice place to work and eat a yummy breakfast. I had ten avocado toast with eggs and coffee. Service was quick and friendly. They have a seasonal menu, may be back to try it again soon. Pumpkin flavors are featured for seasonal options.

Million dollar Bloody Mary w/the bacon

Excellent food, I have underestimated First watch but won't anymore. They done went and made everything million dollar bacon style, including the million dollar bloody mary with a piece of million dollar bacon, delicious. A more of a healthy feel too, even with the drinks.

You order at the window, take a buzzer, get your drinks and find somewhere to sit. We (a party of 4) showed up around 11 on a Sunday morning and the line was already out the door. We had a hard time deciding what to order because everything we saw coming out before us looked just as delicious as the last. After the owner greeted us and gave a run down while in line, we settled on the shrimp and grits, steak and eggs, bread pudding french toast with a side of bacon, and a chicken and bacon croissant sandwich. (I wanted to order the biscuits and gravy weekend feature but they were already sold out.) The girl at the register was polite but very soft spoken so we had trouble hearing what she said. The coffee was the perfect temperature for drinking immediately without scalding yourself, and the different flavorings and types of milk/cream to choose from was a major plus! There were no complaints about any of our food except the steak was a bit under seasoned. I had the french toast, and, in my opinion, is enough for 2 people. There was a bit too much whipped buttercream for me but I was able to rake off majority, and the fruit that came on top was so fresh! The bacon was thick sliced and 3 of my 4 pieces were cooked perfectly to my liking - not too crispy, not too soft! We all were part of the clean plate club after eating because the food was that good! I wished now we would have taken pics of our food before eating! It's a shame it came up as #16 on my Yelp search because it wasn't even the least bit on my radar for our breakfast spot. The turkey is covered with mornay (béchamel with Gruyère cheese), topped with bacon, sprinkled with parmasean and broiled in a gratin-dish, served with a roasted tomato. It's gooey and cheesy, turkey moist and tender, bacon crisp. Very hearty, very filling. Unique, definitely worth trying. Not sure I'm having another one, but glad I experienced it.

The place is positioned as this incredible Mexican breakfast destination, so I figured it had to be something special. Turns out it's just standard Mexican food and drinks. Even if they were using using "the freshest most highest quality ingredients", it doesn't show in the final product at all. Heres what i got: The Espresso Martini ($14) was actually decent--nice and foamy with a solid chocolate note. The Carajillo ($8), on the other hand, was weak. It tasted like plain iced coffee with zero detectable alcohol. I wouldn't order it again. The Wake Up Burrito $14: their biggest hype item. I got it and added chorizo for $3.50, bringing the total to nearly $17.50. It's sausage, cheese, eggs, and beans wrapped up--pretty good, but nothing groundbreaking. Without their green sauce it's completely average, no different from any regular breakfast burrito at a diner. The green sauce itself is what really the only saving grace, but they serve it in tiny thimble-size portions like they're guarding some secret recipe. So for $18 you get a medium-size burrito plus a couple of fried tortillas with cheese on the side. Compare that to mexican spot like Bandito, where the burritos are twice the size and cost much less. This one is seriously overrated. The Chilaquiles - I got the side order of these with the burrito, and were average at best. Just fried tortillas with cheese and a little sauce that had a slightly sour edge. Not bad, but nothing I'd call amazing. I thought to myself, if these had egg and beans(what the main dish has) , would I have been glad to pay $17? The answer is no. Ive had better at the airport. Bottom line: Foko is incredibly overrated. It feels like a tourist trap built for people for those Luisville people who who don't eat much Mexican food and think this is the pinnacle. I get it, the decor is nice and gives that "premium" feel but the prices are way too high for what you actually get. I won't be back.
