The second time I was there was with my husband. I ordered the bacon Benedict. It comes with greens with a lemon dressing. Dressing was good but over dressed the salad. The food wasn't that good. I had the steak and bacon and it barley had that in it! Just a lot of beans and potatoes. Our server was horrible! She only checked on us 2 times and the second time was just to bring the check. Just felt super rushed . Been to a Dallas and Broken Arrow location. Both served great food. Fresh juices and a big menu. The service in Dallas was not as good. But the restaurant was very busy. BA location had friendly staff and much more attentive. No real ambiance to either location, which is okay for me. read more

I would have gave First Watch a five star but unfortunately the woman seats the guest has no awareness of who's in the lobby to be seated in order per arrival and the wait list app. As I stood and waited she sat 3 families ahead of me although I was checked in before them, I'm a very patient person and I understand that it just opened so I'm sure it will get better! We were seated in the small room to the side of the main seating. It was SO LOUD! All the noise bounced off the walls and echoed. They fit about 40 people in a small area the size of a garage.It was so cold and the chairs are very uncomfortable. We didn't know we were sitting in makeshift patio seating until they took us there. I wish they would have let us know before they took us to our table. When our food came out it seemed like it was cold. I think it had waited a bit before they brought it out to us. The center of the sausage and mushrooms were cold. It was our first and last time to eat here. The only upside is the waitress was not bad. Wanted to relax today so decided to go out for breakfast and try First Watch. 25 minute wait for a table for two. Sure, no problem...pretty standard wait time. We sit down and there's food smudged on the seat we just touched and under the table. Ok, no worries, we wipe it down. Coffee comes, but water never makes it (until 30 seconds before we leave). Menu says they offer fresh, seasoned potatoes. I ask if they can make mine without seasoning because I have an allergy...no they cannot, because the potatoes are not fresh as it claims on the menu but are "pre-packaged and come seasoned". I am told there are no real, whole potatoes in the kitchen. Ok, so I change my order to the Traditional and just ask for GF toast. Food arrives around 20 or more minutes later (we ordered 2 eggs, bacon, fruit, toast, and a waffle) and it is only at that time that we are informed they are out of GF toast. Eggs were ordered over medium, came over hard and dry. Water had something floating in it. I made someone aware of the potato and toast situation and they could not have cared less. All in all, if you're looking for an enjoyable, relaxing experience and delicious food...close your eyes because you won't find it here. I recommend Laurannae for great coffee, hand pies and pastries or Big Biscuit for a full breakfast, it's just 2 min around the corner. read more

This was a great first time experience at our new local brunch place.... Been watching this go up for a while and been interested. Sometimes places that focus on such good environments can end up slacking on the food- we'll let me tell you that is not the case here. This place is all good vibes. It is a modern feel, yet down home and somewhere I can picture myself becoming a local if the experiences like this one continue. They had friendly staff and the perfect brunch atmosphere- bright, farm chic, broken arrow themed, I could go on... I was happy with the coffee and atmosphere so then how was the food? Well from someone who doesn't proclaim breakfast as their favorite meal, this place just might make me change. They have a home cooked style feel and pay attention to detail. They have classic breakfast options as well as great healthier lunch options- something for everyone. I loved their juice bar. We were greeted & seated promptly (for breakfast at 1030 am on a Sunday which doesn't happen often, and we figured there would be a wait because the parking lot was full!). The food was excellent. Our party of 3 had the Bacado with potatoes on the side (very good), French toast (very good) and fresh fruit & an orange cranberry muffin (very good). The muffin was room temperature, which was ok but it might be a nice touch if it were a little warm. The portions were good. Our waitress was prompt and kept drinks (ice tea & coffee) filled and checked on us often. Restaurant is bright & clean. I/we have one suggestion: PLEASE TURN DOWN THE MUSIC. It is a lovely restaurant with great food & service, but the noise level is way too loud to have a decent conversation requiring each person to speak louder than normal to be heard (over the music) which just adds to the noise level. So it's Mother's Day and I'm a mother and I'm there eating with my family and they tell me I have to leave them my water bottle at the front- ask them why and they said because they cannot legally sell alcoholic beverages yet. I explained to them there was no alcohol in my water bottle, and I would like to keep it, and they said they would give me my water bottle when I leave, just leave it with them. And now I'm back home, and I completely forgot about my water bottle, they didn't bother to remind me when I was paying out. And now I don't have a water bottle. What ridiculous management! Oh my! I have found my "New Favorite Breakfast" in Broken Arrow, and it's First Watch. The surroundings, the staff, and the food are ALL excellent! Much of the ingredients they use in their food preparation is very healthy and locally sourced. I had previously tried First Watch locations in Kansas City and Lawrence, Kansas, and loved them. I was thrilled when I saw they had opened a new location in Broken Arrow. It definitely does not disappoint. I now visit the Broken Arrow location at least once a week. The Broken Arrow First Watch is definitely an excellent place for either breakfast or lunch! read more

Came here last week and I really don't think I'll be going back unless they revamp their menu. I ordered the oatmeal and to be honest, it was very bland. I added all of the sugar it came with and even some maple syrup my friend got with their order to try and help out the chalky flavor but it just wasn't enough. I asked my waitress (when they finally came back around to check on us) if I could maybe have a little cinnamon and she told me "we're really trying to be a healthier restaurant so we don't have cinnamon" which I knew was untrue since the french toast has cinnamon. Either way, the service and food are definitely not enough to have me try out this spot again. read more
