After checking their webiste and learning of the company history and their insurance coverage, I called and spoke with Sullivan Garret. Sullivan answered all of my questions and gave me a summary of the company and that is was a family run business that enjoyed the work they did.. He was also the only one to explain the Franchise Tax Board withholding for rental property sales that two other agents failed to mention. He's very personable, easy to speak with and has a great radio voice. The company has a 2 story office building on the corner of Venice and Cardiff making it easily accessible for my parents. It's located near Old Town Culver City. It's local to the Palms, Beverlywood area. As soon as my parents signed the offer on the property, our Redfin Agent emailed Sullivan with all the necessary documents on Christmas Eve. From opening escrow, to signing documents and the wire transfers, everything went smoothly. Sullivan always took the time to answer any questions and explain all costs related to the escrow funds.
