I was fortunate enough to have an amazing team for my transaction. We were well ahead of schedule, and had great communication with everyone....with the exception of escrow. My only interaction was with Irina so this review is solely based on my experience with her. I didn't communicate with any other officer. First, she delayed closing. She said that is was lack of response from the buyers (me). Everyone in the transaction was confused as I always respond promptly... When my LO inquired he realized she didn't know I was on the loan....the MAIN borrower. No, I wasn't added. This was from day one. He cleared up all the confusion and made sure they were on the same page. Then she contacted me about vesting, I answered, we moved on. (This is after clear to close). Docs were prepared the same day. Then, they said the notary couldn't sign docs on the date and time that was convenient for me so they moved it to the next day, then the next. When I asked my LO what was going on, he was just as confused. He didn't know the signing date was changed. VERY poor communication on her part. My agent and LO were very confused. I was upset. Whatever, it's falling on a weekend so let's just move on. Cleared it up, scheduled doc signing and went to sign docs on a Saturday in my home. That's when I noticed my name (again, the main borrower) was missing from all the escrow documents on DOCS. After she was repeatedly reminded. I was outraged. Had to put lines and fill out each section with my name. Including transfer of ownership !!! Didn't even get an apology or acknowledgment for lack of professionalism. read more
