If I could exclude 3 particular drivers from this review and give them separate 5 star reviews, I would. But since I have to review the company as a whole I will just say THANK YOU to Tasha, Trevor and Ms.Vicky for being amazing drivers, being respectful to me and my daughter in multiple ways, and for possessing the ONE thing that I look for when dealing with any establishment... COMMUNICATION!!!
First student has the WORST communication when it comes to these kids and them getting to school. I've had about 6 different drivers over the past year and a half and only 3 of them have made the cut. Once you think your in the clear and they've finally gotten things together, you get hit with a substitute driver who hasn't received proper communication from dispatch about your child and they are either really late which in turn makes you late for work, or don't show up at all! And don't think that you can call management to get the problem straightened out because they are RUDE as all hell and brush your problem off like it's nothing because there are no consequences for the employees with this company.
First student is a government funded program, so I suppose that their behavior and attitude falls right in line with most government employees... RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and NONCHALANT. Not only do they have one of the biggest responsibilities of them all which is ensuring that our little ones get to school, but most of the kids have some sort of a special need which means that they need every single hour of schooling That they are permitted, but they also need consistency which is something that first student seems to be incapable of providing. Sure I could find another way for my daughter to get to school, but this is the service that was offered to me, this is the service that my tax dollars pay for.
Luckily for me, I have my amazing bus driver Trevor at the moment, but please pray for me as I will be getting a new driver once my daughter starts kindergarten. I'm sure that this company doesn't have an overseer who will read this review and take heed to it, but I'm sure it will help a parent and will give them a heads up on what to expect. read more
