It is now time for me to move my items from Loveland since I no longer have family in the area and I am on my way to the East coast and established enough to no longer need storage. Caution: Targeted Theft? We have used this storage facility two summers in a row for our college…read moreage son and his housemate. The first year all went smoothly and we had no complaints. This year, someone picked the lock on the storage unit and stole a 4000.00 bike (that the kid saved up for) and a yeti cooler and then re-secured the lock; there were lots of other misc items in the unit that were left untouched. Even though no one was in sight when these items were brought in, someone knew to target their indoor unit. Either there was a rash of random break-ins or someone was watching, and I'm sincerely hoping it wasn't an employee. We are told there are no security cameras except at the gate. We will be requesting to view the footage. Lesson learned for us, be sure to choose a facility that has more layers of security and don't store items of value.
