History

Established in 1997.

Arapahoe Rental Windsor was started in 1997 by Robert Maffei and originally named Blue Dot Rentals. Robert ran the business out of a small gas station at 529 Main Street until outgrowing their location and moving to our current location at 201 Main St in the year 2000. Robert ran the store successfully until selling to the Henderson brothers, Jeff and Joel in late 2003. Jeff and Joel brought on Lance White as a business partner to run the store and together they rebranded Blue Dot to Arapahoe Rental in 2005 to remain consistent with their existing south Denver store. The Henderson's and Lance successfully ran Arapahoe Rental Windsor until 2013 when they sold to the Stewart family. Arapahoe Rental continues to be a family-run business under the Stewarts with customer service as it's founding principle. The Stewart's believe in not just meeting, but exceeding customer expectations, something rental stores aren't necessarily known for.

Meet the Business Owner: Andy S.

Arapahoe Rental is a true family-run business currently owned and operated by the Stewart family. Jim and Suzie Stewart, their son Andy and son-in-laws Eric and Mike currently handle the day to day operations of Arapahoe Rental. The Stewart's have been in business with family since the late 1970's and though history has proven family businesses to be difficult, the Stewart's believe that respect, compromise and collaboration lead to a far better result than working alone. A passion for customer-centered business and innovation pushes the Stewart's to always improve the operations at Arapahoe Rental and to try and be a leader in the Equipment and Party Rental industries.
