I saw that almost every review was 5 stars. There was one person who gave them a 1 star and I know after being in business for over 30 years there is always that one person. So I called ahead to see if there was anything special that I needed to bring with me. The lady on the phone was very helpful. She said that when I got to the location they would set me up. When I arrived it was busy. The young lady working there was working with one customer filling his tanks and another was just ahead of me. When it was my turn she walked me through what I would need (new adaptors so I could use my RV's current hook ups and regulator). She was very helpful and pleasant. She kept everyone in order and was on top of it. I told her that I pick this place because of the reviews and she said that she was proud of doing a good job. She also mentioned the negative review that was posted and said the guy never came to her location. He mentioned the receptionist as being rude and there is no receptionist on sight. Just her and the 2 awesome dogs in the office. Anyway I had an amazing first experience at Affordable Propane from the first call to getting my 2 tanks filled. The price was 1/2 of what I would hav3e paid at the other locations I called. So although the reviews were better I also came for the price as well. It was a win win and I will be back.

The co-op will sell you grass seed of all sorts by the pound and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable! I also discovered they have a section next to the grass seed for vegetable seeds and wildflower seeds by the scoop. If you are having trouble growing grass of the conventional sort, we ended up planting premium pasture seed. I think that stuff will grow on pavement! One gentleman told me it would not be as soft but I walk barefoot in my backyard and am very satisfied with it. The only drawback I have experienced is it needs to be mowed a little more. Otherwise, it was a cheap and hardy solution to our landscaping needs!

Never had these issues. I call and speak to Derek... I ask Derek ... what is the solution... he states I have NO solution. This is the treatment you can expect after being a customer for 7 plus years.

My large commercial vehicle has to park at the curb out front. They have a large selection of packaged food and drinks + a small kitchen where they have make sandwiches and prepare Godfather's Pizza. Their restrooms (men & women) are clean. In my experience, the staff are friendly and efficient. They recently expanded their hours.

(The van's customization was done in Texas.) The owner himself came out to talk with me and talked me through his idea for a solution. He quoted me what I thought was a very reasonable price and they completed the work in a few hours. He gave me a thorough rundown on how the new system worked and things to look out for. I sat in the managers (Julio) office on March 17th, 2023 and placed and order for an item from Behlen Country. He said 6-7 weeks. At 7 weeks I called only to find out he never placed the order. So on May 2nd, he had Gary get in touch with me and Gary said he would place the order and it would be about 6 - 7 weeks. I just called on June 5th to check on it and Gary never placed the order. Claimed I said I didn't want to wait 6 weeks. Told him he was out of his mind. I have 42 animals waiting on that item to arrive so they can have additional living space. Why in the He!! would I say no to the order. These people must be smoking some the wacky weed. The store has set our ranch back now 12 weeks and it will be even further back by the time we find another business that can get this item for us. I will NEVER spend another dime at Bomgaars if at all possible, and especially at this location. Both of these idiots need to be on the unemployment line.

Regarding other people's complaints, you have to remember that when you are in the mountains, things don't always happen as fast as you might have been used to elsewhere. Running an efficient and cost-effective business sometimes may mean putting orders together in a batch to save on trips. That said, when we've run out of propane, they always come to our aid right away!
