Long story short. I'm a single mother who just exhausted all my funds in a divorce case in…read moreNovember. Not to mention that my daughter is getting ready for graduation. Mr. Williams helped himself to my full federal tax refund on over 6,000. I'm not the only one. Yes I'm taking legal action. During my investigation I came to discover that he's using his daughter's credentials. He plead guilty to a similar case in the past. I can go on and on. I'm fearful this man knows everything about me. Please be safe. Do your research and read the reviews. If I had I wouldn't be here now, but I'm faithful, everything will work out. My email address is Tiffani708@yahoo.com. I guess my long story short wasn't so short! Thanks for listening!

This past year our small company was ripped off by this unscrupulous accountant named Derdrick…read moreWilliams. It would seem that although he has pled guilty in open court admitting he stole over $16,000 from us, we will never see a penny of our money back. After a couple of accountants didn't work out I switched us last December to an independent accountant named Derdrick Williams in Troy, Mi. As part of our agreement, I gave Derdrick full access to both Quickbooks and Square services to access payroll info. Mr. Williams took just a few weeks to decide that with access to Square, he would take advantage of that access to "borrow" money from Square Loans for a loan of $13,900. The added cost for the loan was $2,161, totaling $16,061.00. Square has conveniently taken a percentage of our daily gross sales until the loan was paid back (we actually just paid this off this week). I was completely unaware of this loan at the time, and Square made no attempt to check with us or send us any notification. Derdrick simply took the loan from Square Loans (a separate division of Square Inc.). They have insisted that they did nothing wrong and refused to help in any way. By the time I discovered the theft Derdrick had already transferred the $13,900 to his personal bank account. The same day, he transferred that money onto several gift cards. We soon contacted Derdrick, he acted offended when I confronted him on the phone. He claimed he was also angry that someone had tarnished his reputation! My wife and I gave him opportunities to come clean, but he stuck to his lies. We filed criminal charges with Police Department, where a tenacious young investigated, and months later an assistant prosecutor in Wood County, Oh. filed charges. There was a three-month delay to theoretically pay us in lieu of going to jail. As I suspected, has not paid us a cent. Finally last week he pled guilty - even his attorney knew he was caught dead to rights. The evidence is incontrovertible. Although sentencing is in January, the assistant DA is sure that the case will be a 4th or 5th degree misdemeanor. Not enough money for a felony, I guess. He is not going to get jail time, but more importantly we are never going to get our money back. We are a small company; we struggle to pay bills. This criminal has put us in a bad position financially. I know that the conditions of probation are a minimal nuisance. He won't feel remorse, he won't be even inconvenienced. Our anger and frustration have been present in our lives for almost a year. Countless hours, lots of sleepless nights, and endless stress will go unresolved. Complaining to officials in Michigan will also not make up for the money - and trust - he stole from us. DO NOT TRUST THIS A$$HOLE! These other reviews are family members.
