Turns out my water heater was 12 years old (I had just purchased my house). He recommended I replace it, but was never pushy. He gave me different brand options based on my financial situation. He also repaired my toilet that wasn't properly bolted to the floor. It turned out to be a more extensive repair than I had previously thought. He took his time, explained what he was doing and why he needed to do it. He was on time, kind, respectful, extremely knowledgeable, and very thorough. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost (plumbers can be expensive!) but I felt the service and time he spend was fairly priced! I will only be using Water Heaters and More from now on!

With the new washer soon to be delivered, the clock was ticking, and I needed a quick solution. Hoping I could dash out to the local big box home hardware stores and find a replacement valve, I was sorely disappointed. This valve was nowhere to be found! An alternative is to open up the wall, cut the pipes and replace the entire box, valves and all. With a new washer on the way, there was no time for that. They told me his charge time ($135hr) started from when he left his last appt until he leaves mine and he would call when he left. He called at 0950 and arrived at 1005 (15 min). It was a simple remedy to remove one and install another. My cameras observed repairman walking very slowly, back and forth 4 different times and spending up to 7 minutes at his vehicle each time. What could he possibly need to go back and forth 4 times for and spend so much time at his service truck?? Not to mention the time spent at the faucet in question. He finished at around 1115 and my bill was $52.96 for parts and $270 for labor!! The invoice showed he left his previous job at 0934 and finished mine at 1135. A 30 minute job that he stretched out with driving time to 2 billable hours!! Whew Look Out! I am disabled and certainly did not need the confrontation or anxiety to argue over his work and billable time.

We had Roto-Rooter out for a clogged drain less than 6 months ago. They snaked the drain and upsold…read moreus some drain cleaner. The tech said if we gave him a five star review, he would knock off $25. Since it seemed to be fine, I did that. The clog returned, and I called Alex. I am tired of paying for sloppy work. I booked through YELP. He was on time and explained that in his professional opinion it would be best to snake it from the roof and then follow with jetting it all the way to the street. He was on the roof for an hour in 100° heat. He ran a camera through when he was finished and showed us the clean pipes and the grease blob that had caused the blockage. The drain is now clean of grease, not just a hole punched through the clog. Clean. His price for snaking, jetting and running the camera in was less than what Roto Rooter charged to just snake the drain. I recommend Alex 110%. Honest, fair and reasonable pricing with a wonderful moral work ethic. He is out there to help you not snake you!
