I couldn't wait until Monday to have my car looked at, and needed to find a dependable and honest auto shop that was open locally in my area (Lake Worth). Fortunately, luck was on my side and found Lake Worth Auto Repair upon doing a Yelp search. Open from 8AM to 12PM on Saturdays, I called them early and they were more than happy to at least take a look at my car -- so long as I could get it the two miles it needed to go. They're located on Florida St just west of 19th Ave N and Dixie Highway. I was able to get my car there, and have it diagnosed. Turns out, my spark plugs needed to be replaced in a bad way, as well as my ignition coil. They replaced all within no time, and I was on my way out the door for a lot less than I thought I was going to be. They were straight up and honest, and very accommodating. My car is running great now, and I have Lake Worth Auto Repair to thank. They are bonafide, know what they're doing, and deliver on what they say. If I ever need to bring my car in locally, this is where I will go.

This time was a much more extensive and difficult repair - and the results were virtually PERFECT! I have a 2022 Mazda Miata RF GT in Soul Red - a VERY hard color to match - and both times I've dealt with one of the two owners - Tim - who matched the bumper cover, hood, and fenders beautifully - it was very difficult to tell that the car was ever damaged. Just as importantly, my dealings with the owners (mostly with Tim, but sometimes his partner Dan) were exceptional - Tim kept me posted of the progress, went out of his way to get new, OEM parts for the car with the insurance company appraiser when he thought that aftermarket parts wouldn't look good enough - and even helped with the return of the car rental, so that I could leave it there, and the rental company picked it up. I took my car to Cupelli's hoping for a fair and skilled diagnostic. Instead, I was quoted $250…read morejust to scan the car for a "stage 1" diagnostic, with another $150 if it went to "stage 2." They also made it clear that this charge wouldn't be applied toward the repair, which already didn't sit right with me. They did a quick visual check for a leak and my misfire, then told me I'd have to pay for two hours of mechanic labor to diagnose further. This felt excessive and not in line with how most reputable shops operate. The very next day, I went to another high-end European/exotic car shop. They scanned my car for free, visually identified the leak immediately, diagnosed the engine issue, and fixed everything the next day. My car now runs like brand new -- all without the inflated "staged diagnostic" charges. Cupelli's might be fine if you want to overpay just to be told what's wrong, but in my experience, there are much better Euro shops in the area who are honest, transparent, and far more efficient.
