I'm originally from Sonoma county so I had been looking for a salon for a while, this salon was great! The younger man with glasses I didn't get his name was so gentle on my toes and probably the best pedicure I have ever received. For the first time ever all my toes are actually shaped the same perfectly, and as for my acrylics they are a bit shorter than I expected but they still look soooo pretty and Kathy my girl gave me a free chrome since my nails were so short. 10 outta 10 and I will be coming back! This place also looked clean and they definitely focused on my nails not the tv. Over all for both sets that are gel based too I spent 135. Including a tip. Everyone was very kind. read more

I normally don't write negative reviews, but I feel this experience needs to be shared. I came in for a pedicure because my regular salon didn't have availability, and the entire service lasted only 25 minutes -- including the removal of my previous gel polish. My feet were soaked briefly, polish removed, nails clipped (but not even filed), and a quick scrub on the bottoms of my feet. Someone else stepped in for the leg massage, which was so underwhelming it felt like my cat making biscuits did a better job. The polish was applied, and that was it. Place said walk in but they sent me out to come back later. This was the WORST mess ever. The older (retired ) man who did my nails was careless banging my fingers in dryer. The polish was just slapped on very sloppily and he sent me out the door without cleaning off the cuticles. when I went home and saw the mess, I returned and had a lady in there, clean it up. Four days later all the sides of the gel were bubbled and popped off. I wouldn't recommend anybody ever go to this place besides that it was dirty. read more

Awful!!!!! I've never had such a terrible experience at a nail salon or encountered such rude technicians. First, I called to make an appt and they said they don't accept appointments and then hung up on me. Against my better judgement, I went ahead and drove over to do a walk in for my two daughters to get full sets. When we got there it was empty, just the 2 employees inside. They each took my girls and one started right away, the other said she would be right back. As she was coming out from the back room, three women walked in and she asked if she could help them. One wanted a wax and one wanted her nails done. She told the lady wanting her nails done to sit down and took the wax to the back and waxed her. When she came out she sat down with the other lady and started doing her nails...while my daughter sat there still waiting. I stood up and said excuse me, but my daughter was next. She told me that she would be quick with that lady and we can wait. I told her we were there first and already waited for the wax that came in AFTER us, but we would absolutely not be waiting for her to do nails too. Again, she told me to wait and she will do my daughters after she was done. I told the woman who was doing my other daughter's nails that we were there first and this was unacceptable so we were going elsewhere, then I told my daughter to get up because we were leaving. She grabbed my daughter's arm and yanked her back down and tried cutting off the tips that she just glued on. I then grabbed my daughter's arm and told the lady not to touch her and that we would never be back to this salon again and we left. When we got into the car my daughter showed me her finger that she pulled and she had cut her when she tried removing her nail! This salon should not even be in business!!! I will be reporting this establishment to the health dept because it is so filthy dirty. One area of great concern to me is the bathroom. There was no soap, toilet seat cover or paper towels. When I told a staff member I was directed to a bowl in the salon area where I could wash my hands. My manicure was ok but I had to ask to have my cuticles treated. The hand and arm massage lasted about 1 minute. Also I said I didn't want gel polish but the technician then asked asked me 3 more times why I didn't want the gel?? read more

I've given this place SO many chances in the last 3-4 years. No more. I'm done. The gentleman who seems to be in charge of everyone is rude - particularly to his own staff - rushes the customers through to accommodate every walk-in no matter how much it inconveniences the current customers. They were so busy the day I went in they actually waxed a woman's face in a chair smooshed in between customers having their nails done because the private wax room was occupied. That is just utterly unprofessional and unhygienic. As one of the other posters has mentioned, the lack of clear language skills creates an invisible barrier and the manager's tone when speaking in a foreign language to the technicians is hostile and rude. I asked to have my fingernails shortened but they are SO short now it's painful even to type. The nail polish was applied far too thickly and the overall job is just sloppy. Sorry. Won't be giving them any more of my business. Suggest that you don't either. read more

I tried to make an apt for a pedicure but they said just to come in. When i arrived i had to wait about 10 min even though i said i called. I picked a color and they dont use any name brand nail polish so it looked like some cheap and old stuff. They do line their pedicure trays with plastic but the massage chairs are old and they dont want you to operate yourself. The guy actually took the remote from me when i teied to change the settings. I was next to a.brokem chaur where they kept all their phones and purses behind and all i could see was the dirt and dust everywhere..it made me a little sick Then i noticed they dont use fresh tools like most places who take them out of a nag or keep them in sanitizing liquid...she literally scrubbed my feet and washed the calus s rubber with my dirty feet water then put it back in her caddy. Same with the nail trimmer she was using. Then they wouldnt "remove my caluses" cuz they said i didnt have any but they still charged me the extra 5 dollars. Honestly if i wasn't so exhausted and my feet weren't so gross i would have walked out. I see from previous remarks city people especially San Fransiscans always have something rude to say could be why their experience wasnt the best maybe? Rude and uninviting from the moment I walked in. I said I need a pedicure and no one replied with a wait time or "just a moment" or "pick a color." I just get to stand there like an idiot wondering what's happening. I finally get seated in a chair with no water so I'm awkwardly and uncomfortably sitting there looking for the massage control so I have something to do. The nail tech next to me sees me looking for the remote for the chair and she says "just wait a minute the chair is broken." I almost left right then and there. The pedicure was terrible, they basically painted my bails. There was no nail cleaning, cuticle work done and minimal filing. Such a shitty pedicure and waste of money and time. read more

I truly believe that the quality of their work is not worth the amount of money you end up paying for. If you want precise and elegant acrylic nails, please do not go here. Just left the salon from getting my eyebrows waxed, it was rushed, she only put me in a chair they used to sit on, didn't even have lay down or put me in some that reclines. The lady did even ask what I wanted, just started waxing. She didn't use a cooling balm after or offer me a mirror to check when she was done. One eyebrow is longer than the other. It was decent probably for the area but sub par to anything you could get in SF. Very good leg massage and relatively clean and hygienic. Their actual nail service was basic- nothing great as they left too much cuticle for my taste. The polish was applied too thickly. Staff speaks very little English which puts an undue burden on the customer trying to explain issues. As someone who speaks another language when I live in another country, this never ceases to amaze me. Also I paid for a $5 callus treatment of 3-5 minutes, yet they only left the solution on less than 1 minute. So, I don't think it was advertised accurately and not worth the additional amount. read more

Visiting from out of town and needed mani pedi. One thing is small town prices but can't avoid that. Special mani pedi with rock massage $35, good special . Busy by 10 am on Saturday. Gentleman said hello and came to us to ask what we needed. He did my Moms mani with gel and seemed good at it. They're midnight pedi with gel is $50. At home mine is $40 so a bit higher but going rate. Didn't have a color chart which I prefer to look at. The colors are on the nail polish jar. Getting a manicure so I'll see how it goes, So there is 7 ladies and 2 guys. 1 guy is the owner guy but does nails, I had other guy. He was good with massage and painting. Not detailed with cleaning on toenails or bottom of feet. I would say he did half way but since I get pedicure faithfully I was OK. I'd come beck but ask for a girl. The owner guy ended up doing my Moms cuz they were keeping the flow going. He seemed to be detailed as he went back and cleaned her cuticles a bit, overall happy and would come back when visiting her again. read more

The worst! Not sure these providers have ever experienced what a manicure/pedicure actually are. They have one speed...fast....no interest in doing a good job...just hurry to get the next person in the chair. Filed my nails badly, even my toes. I recently retired and moved into this area from the Los Angeles area. I was pleased with my experience with a new set on my first experience here. They don't take appts which was great the first time I walked in but very annoying when it's busy and you have to wait about 40 min. The second time I walked into the busy salon and asked for a fill and literally had several women mumble something under their breath in their native language which I felt was rather rude. I felt like I was bothering them or disturbing them. I stuck it out and had decent nails. However, the last time was the final straw for me. It wasn't busy and I came in with all nails intact, however, well past when I should have come in for a fill. She was so rude to me throughout the time she worked on my nails. She insulted me and basically berated me saying I'm retired and have nothing to do so I should have come in sooner. I explained to her that although I may be retired - I have plenty to do! I was furious and really should have left at that point. I won't be going back. When I go into a salon for nails and pedicure - I refer to it as 'me' time.....and expect a pleasant experience of relaxation and enjoyment. Stay away from here unless you want to feel belittled and irritated. Agh. read more

So many things were wrong with this appointment yesterday. I called to get a quote for gel polish, was quoted at $20 but when I arrived they told me it would be $25 because they had to remove the gel I currently had on. The techs station wasn't very clean, it had nail dust from a previous client on it when I arrived. Instead of soaking off my polish she used an efile at a high rpm to file it away, burning my fingers all the while. She continued to use the same bit on the efile on my natural nails even after being told my nails are soft and weak. She then buffed them after using the efile. I asked for an almond shape rather than the oval that I had, the tech files my nail into a coffin. The edge wasnt even straight, it had a huge slant. When I tried to correct her she had another tech explain the shape to her. Her shaping was inconsistent, several of my nails are still oval. The gel basecoat was very hot in the uv/led. I got black polish and asked for a few extra coats as my nails bend fairly easily. The topcoat she used had clearly been used on uncured glitter polish because several of my nails have random specs of glitter on them. The top coat was also very messily applied. After removing the sticky layer she filed my free edge again, taking away the gel wrap which would help the longevity. When I woke up this morning I already have a chip on my middle finger and the polish on that finger is starting to lift. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I go to this place because its the close to my house. The staff is always really friendly, their work is amazing. The new Gel stuffs are wonderful, it stayed very well sometime I don't have time to come back, it lasts more than 3 weeks. The pedicure with hot rock is the best!!!!
