Went to get my hair done a few weeks ago, and booked with someone new at The Wright Look. It's been almost 3 years since I got a haircut, so I was pretty excited, but a little nervous. I have previously seen Kaitlyn, who always has been absolutely spectacular. Perhaps it was my own fault for assuming that everyone would be able to replicate Kaitlyn's work but after I got home and tried to settle it myself I realized it was not at all what I had asked for. I wouldn't even say it was necessarily a bad cut, but very different than I was looking for. I don't want to name the stylist as I think she did try her best, it just wasn't a good fit for me. She was kind and friendly and I think for other people she would probably do some great cuts, it just wasn't good on my hair or what I had hoped for. The most frustrating part was that I did call to try and see if I could get in to have somebody fix my hair, because it was not what I asked for. I called twice. The first time the phone disconnected, which was probably nothing to do with them. I was calling from Ukiah and service there is patchy sometimes. However, I did call again the next day and left a message asking for someone to return my call and never received one. I didn't leave a whole lot of detail in the message, but I did leave my name and phone number and let them know that I just gotten my haircut and I would like to have some thing redone. I would've happily paid to have Kaitlyn fix my hair, but I never got a call back. I will say that the person I went to at another salon confirmed that there were no layers as I had requested, and that my bangs were not even as the stylist had barely brushed them out. Sassy's Salon was able to get me in fairly quickly and did fix my hair in under a half an hour which I was incredibly grateful for. read more

Laura does a beautiful job with my hair. She colors it exactly how I want it every time. I have a habit of turning red and brassy which has been a constant battle with most of the stylists I have gone to. They would get it correct once and then not the next time. I have been seeing Laura for several years now and her coloring has been spot on every time. I am grateful to have found her and the salon. read more

Went to the owner Laura a few times and had some weird experiences like I've never had anywhere else. The first time I went to her I had an emergency at my job and was a few minutes late. Laura was extremely rude, even pulling my hair so hard it gave me a headache (abusive behavior.) When I came back at a later time and asked her to fix the 1980s haircut she gave me, she told me I "need to use my words." For someone who has 20 plus years experience, I would expect a stylist to be able to cut any type of hair but it looks like her clientele mostly have plain Jane cuts. It's worth the drive to Santa Rosa to get a real haircut. read more

I went there and saw Laura for the first time and got my hair permed it was a great atmosphere lots of good conversation and the other stylist were super sweet and I could tell the clients in their chairs were absolutely enjoying their time as was I. My hair came out amazing! I am in love! I will be also returning in a week so Laura can color my hair and I'm looking forward to that visit as well. After my hair appointment I had a second one lined up with Britney to have my toes done. She was so kinda and made my feet feel and look amazing by the time I walked out I also have a second appointment made with her and will have many more in the future. I also would like to add that they have lots of different hair supplies cute hair accessories makeup hats and much much more for you to shop through I picked up a few things myself but I mean how could you not everything is so darn cute! Laura and the team at The Wright Look were amazing. They did hair and make up for my sister's wedding. They were professional, on time and did an amazing job working with all five of us and couldn't have been nicer to work with! From up dos, to loose beach curls, to waves to flight iron... they did it all. In addition the make up from Brittany was stunning. None of us wear make up regularly and she took a natural approach and we all felt and looked lovely. You can't go wrong, whether you're having a special event or looking for regular maintenance. Okay, I came to Lake County to have a long visit with my family (4 months) coming all the way from Connecticut where I've lived for 15 years. I knew that was the salon that my 2 sisters and Mom went to (all have great hair styles and great color). But you never know what to expect and I was currently in love with my new extensions that I had put on in SF. Boy was I in for a shocker when I went in for the first time with my much younger sister. She had an appt and I was able to chat (immediately fun kind and comfortable!). The items that Laura (the salon owner) has picked to fill her shelves with are top notch!!! She has all kind of hair pieces as well - high end of course. And she knows every thing about each piece in her salon. We had great fun and I didn't want to leave and I've been there several times since and it's always great energy, happy, fun and good people. Prices are not as high as they could be by a mile and my hair is the best it's ever looked. I love Laura, her staff, her clientele and her SALON. Laura did my hair, my 3 bridesmaid's hair, and my sister's hair for my wedding 7/23/16 at the Precious Forest. We drove down to her salon for styling (the drive took about 40min). I went in by myself for a trial (which I didn't pay for until the full bill after the day-of hair styles). I brought in a few pictures, said I wanted an up-do with some braids, and the first look we tried looked great. Laura even gave me style tips! On the day of the wedding, I had a great time with my friends and sister. Laura brought in snacks and coffee and we brought mimosa supplies! She even let my friend do our nails on the salon's nail table, we felt like real professionals. The price was reasonable and Laura even reduced the price for me and my bridesmaids when we were happy with the first hairstyle she gave us and they were relatively simple styles. Laura was flexible with time, gave me great recommendations for places to check out while I was in town, helped me plan the morning based on her knowledge of how long styles would take, and was always friendly and accommodating. My friends told me she gave them tips about how best to use bobby pins, and which styles would look good on them. Far and away the best hair experience I've ever had.
