They give you a lot of al dente, fresh veggies (not mushy or frozen) with your meals, soups are good, and they have several vegetarian options. Also their veggie spring rolls are excellent, but not on the menu, so ask for them (only thing is they are extremely greasy, so we have to press them between paper towels when we get home, but still worth it!). You can sub tofu for any meat in any entrée. Their Hunan bean curd is excellent and so is their lo mein. Everything has good flavor.

We do most of our business with them as take-out and they never fail to carry my order out and load it into my car. The food here is always fresh and delicious. You can eat in or order online. Their prices are reasonable and the portions are large. If you order $30 they have a coupon for registered users to get their choice of an order of crab rangoons, egg rolls, or Chinese donuts for free. Tonight we got their Hot and Sour Soup which is the best out of the 3 Chinese restaurants in Clanton and Jemison. I really like that you can tell them your preference on spice level. The soup is full of mushrooms and bamboo shoots and is very tasty. We tried their General Tso's chicken wings for the first time. They were delicious. We also got pork egg rolls and crab rangoons. Both were fresh, crisp, and perfectly fried. I recommend you give them a try.

On this day there wasn't many people standing outside at lunchtime, so I gave them a chance. The customer service was good. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ordering process was simple and easy. However, I wasn't blown away by their General Tso's Chicken. It was mostly breading and very little chicken. I'm giving grace because I know the General Tso's Chicken I am accustomed to in the DC Metropolitan Area is a superior product, but this version was missing the mark on texture and flavor which is the identity of the dish. Same for the fried rice and egg rolls which lacked flavor. Overall, not a bad experience. If I am in the area again I will try the lunch buffer.

The folks are super nice and are absolutely willing to customize your orders if you've got special needs or requests since everything is cooked to order. As for the ambiance, it's strip-mall Chinese, but if you know, you know that's where you get some of the best food. Went with my usual first-timer order, sesame chicken and crab rangoons. The sesame chicken was great-- I had a feeling it would be when it didn't come out glaringly neon red like at so many other places. All I can say about the crab rangoons is you want to order the big box because they're fantastic and addictive. I wasn't able to try the spam musubi; they make it with authentic rice and didn't have a batch going because it's Christmas and all, but that's definitely what I'm having the next time (along with the beef stew noodle which looked AMAZING). Looking forward to trying the lomo saltado, the bulgogi, as well as the teriyaki burger, which came highly recommended to me by one of the regulars.
