They are reliable, knowledgeable, and take real pride in their work. Their pricing has always been fair and reasonable, which is hard to find these days. They know what they're doing, they stand behind their work, and they're always willing to help. I honestly wouldn't think of calling anyone else for carpentry or contracting work. No matter how big or small the project, AAR Construction is always my first call. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work, fair pricing, and people you can trust. Steve called her back at 7:30 am and drove through a snowstorm on the Northway to get to her house by 9 a.m. He spent the time making sure she would be warm and he got the system running! He treated her the way we'd like everyone to be treated, and we are impressed and thankful. Thanks Steve and Blue Flame!

I just converted from oil heat to propane and contracted with Blue Flame for the purchase of…read morepropane gas. The Heating Installer for an Albany based company incorrectly installed a wrong part that caused high levels of CO2 to be emitted. Steve at Blue flame used an analyzer and his years of experience to detect the serious issue and red flagged and shut down the new system. We called the installer, with Steve getting on the phone with them. After the heating company came twice more the problem was fixed. In the mean-time Steve on his own time called my wife and I, concerned for our well-being. Steve also showed up at our house after the problem was deemed corrected by the installer to make sure it was safe and properly setup. Now that to me is well beyond customer service. Steve and every blue flame rep carries a CO2 analyzer with them, even though the unit is costly, because per Blue Flame to properly check a system install without it is cutting corners and creates too high a risk for the customer. Thanks to Steve and Blue Flame for their diligence and caring! Rich

I felt the cost was reasonable until I realized that I would be charged an administrative fee (half the cost of my unit). Additionally, I choose the Dix Ave location because of the cleanliness, however they tried to switch me to the Dix Ave location in Glens Falls. (That location is dirty and has a pest problem - rodents, I know family members who rented from that location). I received a notice that my rent will change in November. The last straw and the reason I will be leaving my contract is they want to randomly raise my rent $20+ dollars - I feel like this is a bait and switch (I got a nice, discounted price, with this price change, I am now paying the 'regular' price) - nice try PS. Thankfully I didn't move too much in, and I can leave easily. BEWARE!

Easily 15 out of 10 stars Renovating an old automotive…read moregarage property with a DIY approach is fun until you realize there's not always time to learn a new trade and that some things are better left to the professionals. Our property had some dangerous and hideous sidewalks as well as a small driveway with huge bumps and cracks. We didnt know where to start so we made a poor decision and hired the first company that gave us an estimate and a time frame. Unfortunately, communication was difficult and often impossible. To make matters worse, we were on a strict time crunch with no date for the work to be done. After months of waiting we realized we werent a priority compared to larger jobs. So, we started looking again and we are so glad we did. On a Sunday afternoon we sent a message Tarmac Supplies LLC. We expected an answer on Monday but got a response in a few minutes. After a phone call with the owner, Jerry, we knew we liked his way of doing things. He had a very customer centered approach and promised us he'd be able to take a look in the next day or two to make a plan. He assured us that we would not be waiting months, only a week at most. Sure enough, the next day he and his lovely wife, Cara, arrived and did a full walk through with measurements and an estimate. Both of them were kind, friendly, professional and understanding of our situation regarding a deadline. They kept us updated right up the day the work began. The whole crew, Jerry and Cara included, got straight to work. They prepared the areas with great care and precision. The project included both asphalt and concrete, all of which was completed in just a few days as the property required some extra TLC. Jerry and his crew are meticulous and they strive for perfection and neatness. They explained the techniques being used and made sure we understood each step they were on. When we had questions, they gave us detailed answers. It was really cool to watch the process and they didnt mind us hanging out to see it all happen. It was hot weather and they still showed up on time and ready to go. The results are amazing to say the least. The property is not perfect, its old and wonky, nothing is level or straight. These guys gave this property a face-lift, not just with the paving. They fixed up the stone in our parking lot to be more functional and to look nice. These guys went above and beyond to help us in such a small timeframe and they prioritized our smaller project on the same level as the larger ones. They did a phenomenal job and we are so glad we gave them a call that day. Jerry and his crew do more than paving and we will be having them back to help with more projects in the future. They saved us, no doubt about it. If you want a company that is respectful, honest, fair, on time and just made up of good people, call Tarmac Supplies LLC. They WILL answer and you will understand why we wrote this review. We couldn't have done it without them and we can never thank them enough. Thank you Jerry, Cara and crew!
