We never made it to the jump. #1 The name/business operation seems shady. They are operating under the name North Texas Sky Dive, First Flight Tandems, and Cowtown Skydive (that's the company name that showed up on our bank statement). This is confusing and makes me nervous. #2 We scheduled a jump on the afternoon of our 1 year anniversary LAST JUNE. We were told the weather was bad and we couldn't jump. Understandable, but can we have our $100 deposit back? No. We were told that it's the nature of the business and to get over it. I hate this. I could see if the date was not special, but it was to us. I could see if this was a major corporation where exceptions, etc. just aren't possible but this place is clearly a mom and pop. Scott could have easily refunded us the deposit. #3 We contact them again to reschedule. Same thing, they wait until an hour before we're about to leave and call to cancel. We ask again - please refund us the $100 since as a business Scott is not having to write anything off. No. He went on to tell us that he has over 350 on his re-schedule log dating much farther back than us. This pisses me off. 350 x $100 = $35,000.00 IN INCOME THAT THEY HAVE NOT EARNED! Scott hasn't had to do anything except phone to cancel. And he doesn't want to refund $100??? #4 It's been nearly 1 year since we first set up and scheduled a jump for our anniversary. We have tried multiple times to reschedule and it always fails to work out. I've stopped telling my friends & family we're planning to jump because it likely won't happen & it doesn't. Today was another failed attempt. It took 10 phone calls between Scott & his wife Ben to get this scheduled today - they called 1.5 hours before we have to leave - cancelled. At this point, I'm going to chalk the $100 up as a loss. It makes me angry but in the long run, it only hurts him and his business to be unfair. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. They may be $50 cheaper than skydivedallas but it isn't worth it. And bottom line, most people choose mom and pops over the larger business because they want to be fair and they expect a 'boutique' experience that you wouldn't get with larger competitors - not the case here. read more

While I was in the store, an older man working behind the counter carried on an extended conversation with another customer that involved repeated derogatory comments about Mexican Americans and American Spanish speakers. This wasn't a single offhand remark -- it went on for a noticeable amount of time, openly and unapologetically, right in front of other customers. What made it even worse was how comfortable they seemed saying it, as if they assumed everyone in the store either agreed or couldn't understand them. I understood exactly what was being said, and it created an uncomfortable, hostile environment that no customer should have to tolerate. Personal opinions have no place being broadcast from behind a retail counter, especially when they cross into ethnic or racial slander. Allowing that behavior reflects poorly on the business and its leadership. I will not be returning, and I would strongly encourage management to address this immediately.

The Shirt Locker has a nice range of face masks in solid colors, patterns, sports teams, etc. They have masks appropriate for children, adults, and extra-large faces for $15.00 each (they will take cash or credit card). It's a sweet shop, owned by super nice people! Comfortable environment, friendly faces and they have no problem answering your questions. We are currently working on custom face masks for our organization. We're really impressed with the time they've spent with us, patiently working through the details, interjecting ideas, helping with the design, and showing us the end result. Said new federal law . Even tho my drivers license is from the state of TX would not recommend maybe they thought I was a criminal because of the way I look. Found a FFL dealer in rockwall TX got a rifle there plus the one I bought it will get re shipped there.

I grabbed lunch at a restaurant across the street to pass the time, then returned right when they opened. I arrived back at his store about 15 mins after he opened. After completing my transaction, the owner abruptly told me he'd placed a 'No Parking' sticker on my Mercedes while I was gone, even though I was there as a customer intending to shop with him. His tone was rude and short, like I was an inconvenience rather than someone giving him business. The whole interaction felt disrespectful and unwelcoming. He made me feel like I was a burden to him. I do not haggle price and asked for the info I needed and his opinion and every answer was an attitude. If this is how they treat paying customers, it's disappointing. The firearm community deserves better representatives who show basic courtesy and respect. Potential buyers should be aware--customer service here is lacking, and the restrictive hours already make it inconvenient. I make plenty of fire arm purchases and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had.
