I came to learn about The Driving Institute, earlier in the year in January - I had a relatively bad experience with another Driving School, after 10hrs of road experience with that school... I was left with no confidence in any of my skills and I barely got any feedback. I booked myself in originally for 2hrs behind the wheel private lessons (which after I passed my driving test - I added in a further 2hrs later in the year to gain some confidence with Interstate and Highway driving), and I must say from the moment I contacted Miranda at The Driving Institute, I was greeted with nothing but friendliness and professionalism. I had my lessons with Mr Rossi [The 2hrs were split into 1hr sessions] and I have to say just after 2hrs, my confidence rose to further than what it was after 10hrs with my previous instructor. He fixed any issues I had within seconds with such simple techniques. He's a great teacher and he knows his stuff! It was well worth my drive from Richardson just for the lessons - I couldn't recommend anyone better to get you ready for these fast and furious Texas roads.

I had done the at home NDT course and after completion I just wasn't sure that I had done enough. I decided to go for some reinforcement and One Way was a great way to go. Polite, professional, and so much better than DPS. Wow, I remember having to drive all the way to Nacadoches two times just to get William his permit. I live in Denton! I typed in the address on Google and found that it was a private home. There's no way I'm going to an address that's not mentioned on the website. He also kept cutting me off while I was trying to speak and insisted that he will confirm the appointment after I Zelle him the money. I was uncomfortable making a payment and not receiving any confirmation so I did not do it. Seemed unprofessional, unsafe and kind of shady. Stay safe everyone!!

Moreover, he brought misaligned car which was going to the right all the time and he blamed that my driving skills are not good. I recently took lessons from another school and instructor mentioned that my driving skills are quite good and at no point in time car went out of lane. I wasted my $110 here. If you want to really learn driving I would suggest not to join this school ever because in your first class they will take you to freeway and point on your mistakes so that you shell money on numerous classes with them. Update:- This driving even does not even know how to read English. I have written very clearly that another school appreciated my driving skills. This school doesn't know how to teach, pointing mistake doesn't ensure it's not repeated again, you need to tell the way to correct it. They are scammers, trying to loot students. STAY AWAY.

I definitely recommend this school for the DPS road test! They are friendly and fair here. My son…read moretook his test here and passed first try. I will have my daughter come here as well when it is time for her test. The only negative I would say here is that the appointments on line are not really needed or used. I would recommend calling a couple of days before your test and just verify if they are available. He will let you know if that day works and then you just show up between business hours. The only problem with this is you may have to wait 30 minutes or so (as we did) because we had to wait for a driving class the was just ending. Otherwise great school and will be back!
