Lonnie addressed it head on so the actual road test was a positive experience no matter how the skills exam ended.

You the parent, have to do all the work, even though you pay all this money for them to teach your child. Some of the teachers are very rude. They need to take sensitivity training in how to deal with people, especially people with special needs. I don't recommend this place to any parent needing driver's ed for their child. Just look up requirements on TX DPS, sign them up for an online class, and teach them yourself. That's what it feels like with this business anyway.

When I moved to the area from NYC I knew I had to get my license. I was extremely anxious about driving and hadn't attempted more than a parking lot since I was a teenager. But the instructors were so patient and reassuring and made me feel so at ease that after my first lesson I had the confidence to really practice on my own. The road test practice really prepares you for exactly what to expect, and I was able to pass after just two hours of lessons. The road-test examiner and the staff at the front desk were great as well. I highly recommend this place for new adult drivers who are serious about getting their license quickly and pain-free.

DFW driving school-plano…read moreare professional gaslighters and the store owner made an untrue claim about me on Google Reviews saying I made a "critical error" and there was an pedestrian "crossing the road" on the road and I failed to yield. That was a blantant lie and there was no pedestrian "entering the road" when I was driving. If so, I would like you to show me proof from instructor or a video from him claiming that I failed to yield that day, or I can reveal more evidence to prove that it's an untrue statement. The reply comment was made based on lies instead of the truth, and I want people to know the truth. That is not a light statement to make, and if you made up such a lie for a 1-star google reviews, it really says a lot more about you than about me. This shows you are an unhonest business, and it severely damages your credibility in testing. The fact that you, as an DMV authroized testing agency, lied about my testing records in the public platform just to discredit me and my comment is infuriating. The thing is, I even got a compliment from the instructor saying I have a good driving skill. Most of the points are deducted on observation even if I was LOOKING. There was no pedestrian "crossing the road" when I was driving in the neighborhood. Tariq mainly explained to me about the part I didn't do well is observation. He never mentioned anything related to "didn't yield to pedestrians". Please explain to me where does that statement come from because y'all shouldn't been lying about things that didn't happen. Second off, it's unethical to publish the record of your customers when they have not consented to it. I have never consented you to reveal my full legal name nor my testing record to the public. Revealing your client's information which should be kept private, just to win the google reviews as argument is unethical and I have taken proper action to defend my rights. Third, there was an error in grading, my instructor Tariq marked "dangerous act as circled " but never explained it to me, then I waited 1.5 hour in there just to ask him again and again, then he quickly crossed it off and said it was an error in grading. I have no idea why he circled it in the first place when I have not done anything that would result in this remark. When I corrected him, he only crossed it off on my copy, and I suspect this was never updated in their official record, thus they made this false accusation against me because of the grading error. Last, the driving school manager was making fun of me when I was really stressed in the place. He was laughing at me for my frustration about the results. He suggested that i should punch or harm other people as a vent of my frustrations. He laughed at me, ridiculed me, mocked me, made me feel shameful in front of other testers. I don't think that's how you should treat your clients. They clearly lack a professional attitude when dealing with their customers. I would strongly recommend not going to this place for driving school. As a matter of fact, I have taken proper action to report your horrible customer service to related authority at DPS and officially filed a complaint about this issue. Original comment: This place sucks and I would give a zero star if I can. Staff are rude and horrible. Avoid if you can. Staff are rude, unhelpful, and unpleasant customer service overall.

After my son completed his course, the school provided us with a sealed packet that was supposed to contain all required documents to obtain his driver's license. When we arrived at the DPS for his scheduled appointment, we were informed that a mandatory document -- the Certification of Completion -- was missing. Because of this oversight, my son was unable to receive his license, and we had to leave and return to the school. When we calmly and respectfully requested the missing document, the staff member responded with shocking hostility. He snatched the paperwork from my hands, repeatedly yelled "shut up" while I was attempting to explain the situation, and escalated the encounter by shouting "get out" instead of resolving the issue. He refused to provide the required document and refused to issue any refund. When my daughter returned shortly afterward to politely request the Certification of Completion, the same individual threw the documents at her and continued yelling "get out" and "shut up." This behavior was aggressive, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. I genuinely do not understand how this establishment maintains a 5-star rating. I previously posted a review describing this experience, and it was removed almost immediately after posting. I am writing this review again in hopes that others will see it and carefully reconsider before using this service. A driving school should demonstrate responsibility, organization, and professionalism -- especially when dealing with families and young drivers. Based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this business. Please research thoroughly and consider other options before enrolling here.

Part of what I read made me think it was 30 hours, but I'll take the blame there. The instructors were rude to my daughter. She's not overly sensitive so when she came home saying that they were telling her that she's a terrible driver and should not be on the road, I knew it was bad. She had a very difficult time learning to drive. I have four children And I could tell that she struggled with driving. So we spent a lot of time with her in parking lots. But during her second lesson for someone to tell her she's terrible isn't helping. She eventually has to learn how to do this and that's what training is for. When we went to take the driver's test, all the moms sitting in there were talking about how rude they were so it was not just us. These kids going in to take their test should not feel attacked. It makes them all more anxious during an already anxious moment. I saw one review said something about they played back the video and the recordings, so I took pictures to show there are no cameras anywhere in the waiting room. If they have a hidden mic somewhere, that is sketchy.

Here's what happened (Sam, go ahead and look into this and then respond defensively like you do to every other bad review lol) My daughter took her road test here and passed. They offered the option to pay the $40 processing fee to file the paperwork with DPS - sweet. We were told it takes 5 business days. Awesome we can wait. That was Feb 11th. On Friday, Feb 20th on the 6th business day I called them to make sure we weren't missing anything and she said we would have been notified and that "that's why we say ABOUT 5 business days" (Sam, go ahead and check that audio recording since you reference audio and video in your responses) - my daughter called on Tuesday Feb 24 since there was still nothing in the portal. Today (on the 10th business day) I went to the DPS office and got to speak with someone who looked up her information. Remember when I was told on the 20th everything was fine and "it takes ABOUT 5 business days - this is the DPS we are talking about, remember" - well turns out when they turned in the paperwork on the 13th it was rejected - then they submitted it again on the 19th and it was rejected again (so my call wasn't until it had been rejected twice and resubmitted but they failed to mention that). It was finally accepted on Feb 21st and we are waiting for her license to be there any day now. Lamesha and the Canyon Falls DPS was an angel and said I can come back and talk with her if there are any more problems. Imagine a DPS worker being much nicer than yall! Thank the Lord for her- she showed me the screen where I could see the process and how yall screwed up. I'll go ahead and accept that apology even though you won't give me one and in the meantime all my friends have teenagers and will hear about this and tell their friends and you'll be getting a bad review from me on every platform I can find. Have a great day!
