El día de ayer fui a mi prueba de manejo práctico y la persona que estuvo conmigo a pesar que el español no es su idioma fue tan amable y práctico conmigo que incluso me estuvo ayudando y guiando como debía manejar...se encargó de describirme lo mejor posible en español y en inglés. Awful!!! The class ($270)was great and the ladies (Maria) was very nice and helpful!!! When I returned to do the driving test -The exam was a joke!!! The old man who did the test charge me $30 for use of the pc! Also was very disrespectful and slammed the breaks on me when he wanted me to follow a specific instruction! Turning on my turn signal 30 feet ahead the stop sign!!! Very rude and disrespectful!!! Just go to DMV to take ur test! I left so upset and distraught. Absolutely horrible customer service! Went to get permit without learners permit because in the state of texas at 18 you don't need one. He refused to help us because "he cant prove im a legal citizen" im Mexican born and raised in texas and had ALL the legal documents present. He was extremely disrespectful wouldn't look me in the eyes as he was explained things as though i was dumb. He helped and did both of my brother's licenses 4 years ago with the exact same situation minus being mexican and there were zero issues. Also got disrespectful and called my mom "sister" and once she asked him to repeat himself he corrected himself to ma'am. This was our second time coming here trying to get this taken care of. I do NOT recommend Alo Driving School to anyone. Their main goal is to make money. My teenage son has been driving for over a year and practiced a lot on local roads and highways. I took him to this place for his road test when he turned 16. These guys repeatedly forced me to pay for their training class + road test, and I told them that I want only the road test, as I am very confident of my son's driving and the practice he did. They reluctantly took him for the road test and showed some silly reasons to fail him (so that we will take their lessons / test again with them). They charged $80 for teen driving test and also $5 TAX on top of that. 2 days later my son went to actual DMV / DPS location, and he did GREAT in the test and got an instant temporary license. I wasted my time and money by going to this Alo Driving School. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this driving school. They are so many alternatives who are more genuine. Do NOT come here. I went in to take my road test and was planning on only taking the road test without the pretest which costs more. However, before going I read some reviews on here saying that they're money minded and will only pass you if you take the pretest along with the road test. Upon arrival I was strictly almost only given the option to do the pretest and was afraid that if I didn't pay for it, I'd get failed for the smallest reason. I passed my test but, I would recommend going somewhere else as this place isn't so professional and the instructors are hard to understand. Mid test, the instructor reached over to turn on my AC without asking or telling me at all. After passing the test, he practically forced me to go on google and give him a good review that included his name which I shortly deleted after so that people won't go there. read more

If i could give 0 stars i will do it. I went with my wife because she needed to take the exam and someone else recommended this place. First when we arrive they don't explain you anything, they just ask for your pappers and tell you to read something and ask you if you want just the test or the pre-test too whitout explaining anything, they guy didn't even introduce himself, we don't know his name. We choose to do the pre-test and test, we paid 110 dollars. I went with them for the pre-test and i sat in the back chairs, first my wife didn't understand him well because of his accent so she ask him to repet again or she ask him something and he just got really mad and rude, second he didn't let her speak or ask anything in the pre-test, when she did something wrong she wanted to have some feedback on that and he just shush her and kept yelling and being rude to her. Third when she did something that was not okay in the pre-test he spoke to her like she was dumb, like she was nothing, like she was f*** stupid (We didn't say anything because i allready paid 110 dollars and nobody wants to loose money). When they went for the actual test i don't know what else happened but she call me after she finish and she was crying. She pass the test but the experience was just HIDEOUS!!! They are not nice, they are rude, they yell, they treat you like you are stupid, they don't have any empathy. Don't loose your money in this place please!!! People need to be kind to one another, you don't know what the other persons is passing trhought or if they have anxiety or depression or panic attacks or testophobia or anything, you shouldn't be rude to people in any circumstances and more if you are a TEACHING academy, be professional. read more

It was the worst decision I made to take my sister who has been driving for over 25 years in Turkey to take a road test there. They were very rude and seemed very arrogant from the first step in. They pushed my sister to take the mock test to charge her an additional $40. Once we refused, they took her to the road test and came back after 12 minutes claiming that she failed to stop at the stop sign at a full stop. The man was simply lying and advising us to get her professional driving course from them. When I asked them to tell me exactly which stop sign she hadn't stopped, he wasn't able to give me the name of the streets and avoided to have eye contact with me. It was a waste of time and money! I hardly suggest that you stay away from this money trap place and go find a trustable institution to take your road test! read more

This is a great driving school. My wife worked with Kazi to do adult private driving lessons and she really liked him. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. No hidden fees or gimmicks. The other reviews I think are unfounded as it clearly states on their website what you must and must not do for taking a driving test and the requirements. The prices are transparent. I am really grateful to our driving lesson coach Mr. Kazi and owner Mr. Razzak for their guidance and assistance in each and every step to learn driving and get the driver license in Texas for both me and my wife. Mr. Kazi is a very nice driving teacher that helps the layman students to have confidence and grip on the driving very fast. He taught us tips and techniques to control the car very easily without having any fear. I feel this school has all the staff who work with the students in a flexible, comfortable relationship so that the students don't feel any hesitation to learn from here. Today I had my first lesson from someone called Mr Jamaal. If someone wants to get insulted for $80, he or she should take lessons from ALO driving school. I am girl in 20s, he was constantly yelling at me. Right from beginning he was talking on his cellphone and his first call he was telling someone "I will make few circles (rounds) within this community and leave her. He was supposed to train me for 2 hours ($80). Then he started yelling at me. They just assume we know everything, but still have some extra money to donate to some driving school. For 2 hours he was constantly yelling "this is my car, drive properly, else I will charge you $1000", "I don't want to train you", "I am going to ask my owner Mr razzaq to charge $200 for each lesson", "You don't know anything, you should have taken online vdo lessons before coming to me", "I am desperately need a job, please let me know if you know anyone from IT field or any IT job". For last half an hour I was continuosly crying, then he said "Don't cry, I am sorry, actually I am in need of money, I am not good frame of mind". After this experience, I called 1 of my friends and he said he also had very bad experience 2 years back. Though his trainer didn't yell at him; his trainer didn't teach him anything, just asked him to driver directly. In short this school is worse in the world. I won't advice anyone to go to this school, at least girls and women. This monster called Jamaal has no manners of how to speak to girl.
