My Son and my wife had a bad experience with Metro Driving school in Hurst. My son said Ashley is being rude to him and she scared him. This why he failed in the road test. Although he is not a bad driver. She upset him by telling him you look like you never drove before. I don't recommend going to this school as the examiner has no patience and gave my son negative feedback about his driving skills instead of a constructive feedback. She didn't allow us to take the test by our car to make extra money. read more

I had heard from my neighbors that this was an excellent school where my children could learn driving. However, it ended up being a terrible experience for my eldest child. The classroom lessons itself were decent. My child learned what they needed to take the written test. The actual driving practice lessons were where this school failed to properly teach my child in an environment where they felt comfortable. I was appalled to learn that the very first lesson didn't involve making sure my child knew how to use the pedals and steering. Instead, the teacher just pushed my child into the road as if she knew how to drive already. I assumed that this school was for teaching students how to drive but what kind of driving school doesn't even teach ensure the basics are drilled before they are put on the road. Not only that, but from what I've seen and heard, all the "teachers" were men far older than her with a lack of tolerance for mistakes. This traumatized my child so much that it took her longer to get her license. I thought letting someone with more time and experience as a teacher would be better for my child, but I would rather take child being willing to learn than be scared to even touch the wheel because their teacher couldn't even show them the basics before putting her on the road. I've learned my lesson and WILL NOT have not been recommending this place to anyone. If you want are looking for a school to build on your child's driving skills, then this is the place for you. If you or your child is a beginner, then this place is not it. Better to find a different place worth your time and money. read more

I highly recommend Metro Driving School for all new drivers. They return their phone messages within 24 hours, answer any questions and get you enrolled quickly. The driving instructors were very patient and helpful with my fifteen year old son. The owner, Sandra, makes it easy to schedule driving classes and they even have classes on Saturday. read more

Terrible customer service: their 817-283-6263 number is answered by a 24 hr automated machine where you leave a msg & your contact info. in their mailbox. No one returns your call after you've left several on their answering machine and no one replies to your email you left through their official website. Seems like they don't want business which is fine for I can't wait on them hence; forcing me to seek elsewhere. In regards to the 6hr state required classroom course, it's a waste of your money & time doing it here given at how they throw mass amounts of info. at you in 1 day. Don't waste your $75 here for you can do it either online at your own pace for way cheaper or if you prefer traditional classroom style, other schools around DFW offer the 6 hr course for the same $75. read more

I had my 2 kids and wife take the 7-hour behind the wheel and the 7-hour observation. My kids had the opportunity to drive with multiple instructors and always finished with a big smile on their face. Their driving improved so much that they passed their driving test from the first try. My wife was a nervous wreck before she started driving, but after 8 hours of driving with Jimmy, she also passed her driving from the first try. The instructors were very supportive both morally and emotionally and helped build up my family's confidence. Sandra was kind and amazing. Typically, she replied our emails within few minutes and always knew what to do. It's a family run business and they truly care about their customers and made time, even when there was no time.
