One of the key fobs is OEM and the other isn't - yet both aren't working as desired. They haven't been used as we had another key, but when we tested we were bummed. 1APR2023 I got a call and he came out to help examine the key fobs after I updated my yelp review. He opened the key fobs and showed me where water must have gotten inside the key fobs. After replacing the batteries on both of the devices they are working perfectly. It was a simple battery issue. The technician did not tell us or discuss any changes or special needs, much less any reason to charge so much more than quoted. I do not recommend this locksmith. If the technician would have told us the changes needed ahead of time, we would not have agreed to the work. It was for more than double the original estimate. This company is not honest or trustworthy. When I called to talk to the owner, she began talking over me and ultimately yelling at me. I told her I was going to post about the incident and her response was to threaten to sue me to protect her company. I am editing my review after reading the response to my post. When I told the owner that I would post about her business she said, "we will sue you" and said, quote, "we know where you live." She also said, "we will use your text in court." I hope she does!!! If you choose to do business with these folks, Just make sure you get a firm price and watch the work being done. They do not discuss changes BEFORE they are made and then you are surprised with a bill that is more than double the estimate.
