Christopher responded right away and was polite and organized and was able to pick me up at 3am the next day (9 hours after I contacted him) and shuttle me to SYR. He was prompt, drive quite well, and arrived with a clean car. I want to thank Christopher to kick off my day on time to help me finally get back home. We got a quote and invoice within 15 minutes. 4am on the day of our flight they were at our house not just on time but early! Friendly, courteous safe driver. I got a text with a tracker so that I could see when my car arrived. When the car arrived, I was impressed with the safety measures. The backseat was clean. There was a plexiglass barrier between the driver and the back, but my driver still wore a mask. My driver, Rick, was very pleasant. I usually make small talk with drivers but tend to feel awkward in doing so, but our conversation was actually very enjoyable. He drove safely and took the normal route. The fare wasn't much more than it would've been with other rideshare services. My expectations were exceeded, and I was especially grateful because this Suburban Taxi came through in a pinch when other services were unavailable, and they made me feel very safe in a time when taking a taxi can be nerve-wracking. Don't send these drivers on the long runs if they can't completely be paid for the work done. The dispatchers are twats to the driver and expect them to basically live in there vehicle. We heard about them at the Bridal Show at the fair in January and had kept them in mind to book for our bridal party transportation (one 16 passenger bus) from Fayetteville (where our church is) to Oneida (where our venue is). This is a 25 minute drive. My fiance first spoke with the owner last week and then yesterday and was quoted $1250 for this trip. When he called to book today, the owner said he was busy and to call his assistant Terry. My fiance called Terry and told her the quoted price that was given to us BY THE OWNER, Joe. Terry literally berated my fiance and told him that "no way that is the price because it's outside the area". She told us it would be $1550. She was extremely condescending and literally laughed at my fiance. We cannot believe that this person would be working with customers. My fiance told Terry that the owner had quoted him this price and he just wanted to book it, she literally refused to honor what the owner told us. I'm sorry, but that's just a gross way to deal with clients. I don't know if the owner made a mistake but if so that is not the way it should be handled. We ended up booking someone else just now, so Terry lost them our business. I will be telling all my friends who are getting married this year and next in the area to AVOID this place. Gross.
