I love First Choice Nails, especially Pha. It's easy to make appointments there, always clean and they often have water for their customers. I also appreciate that their pedicure stations have linings for the tub. Most, if not, all of my experiences have been positive here (especially with Pha). They are efficient and like many nail places, they will sit you down before they are really ready to devote 100% of time to you, but the transition from customer to customer is quick. Some may not like that, but I think it's part of the deal with these local nail shops. I still feel taken care of and what is most important to me is that they do a good job and still have me out of there within a reasonable amount of time. For me to get a gel manicure, it is typically 45 minutes to an hour, never more. I only go here now! read more

Hai, the owner is a class act! I called all over Vegas on Dec 30th and 31st and NO ONE could accommodate a group of 8 for pedicures. When I made my way to First Choice Nails Hai said "no problem"! We can get you all in at the same time! We arrived and had the best time! Red wine, pedicures and laughs for our bridal party of eight! I wont go anywhere else to get my pedicures when I come to town! Thank you for not only getting us in but also giving us amazing pedicures! Your staff is amazing! read more

Today was a good day for a pedicure. I came to this nail salon in high hopes of getting a nice pedicure because my toes were In dire need of a facelift. Feet was tired of working long hours and needed some attention as well. I made a 3:30 appointment with Tommy(a referral by a co-worker) I get there on time. The salon was nice and clean. Nice ambiance, very relaxing. They have a place where you check in at the front so I oblige. I let the guy in the front know I have an appointment with tommy. He set me up immediately in a nice pedicure chair with nice warm water running between my oh so tired toes. Felt nice. Tommy sat down and asked what color would I like on my toes. I told him neon yellow. A nice fun color. He showed me the color and asked if this is it!! I said yes Thank you cuz no one ever get that color right. They always give me some light yellow or neon green or puke yellow but Tommy was the first to get it right I knew then that today was gonna be a good day. Tommy was nice and polite. Talked really soft made it easier for me to relax and enjoy the experience . I let him know the issue I was having with my toes and that the nail puts pressure in the side of the nail bed making it uncomfortable for me to wear closed toe shoes He understood and went to working his magic. While he was working on my tired feet he kept asking if I was ok, offered me water and asked if I would like the deluxe pedicure. Yes I would I said thanks for asking anything to get these tired feet kicking again. It was so nice and definitely worth the money. Tommy did an amazing job. I walked out of there feeling like a had just purchased brand new feet and toes. No more pain when I put on sneakers. The color was what I asked for. He massaged my legs and feet with sugar scrub, popped my toes and grated the bottom of my feet to make them nice and smooth again. I can't be any happier. My new nail salon for my pedicures now with Tommy of course. I've been waiting for this day for so long and Tommy at first choice nails did not disappoint. Ps, like some other nail places he didn't stand in my face waiting for a tip he just went on about his business. Good customer service is how you tip and he was definitely worth the $20 tip plus more but I didn't want to get ahead of myself I still needed to buy dinner for my family lol read more

This place was highly recommend to me for pedicures. I don't know why. I have been trying to figure it out since my visit about three weeks ago. My husband and I went together, we got right in, which was great! They didn't ask us any questions regarding our feet, none whatsoever! That is NOT acceptable. It went very quickly, which is not something I anticipate when getting a pedicure. The water went cold within 10 minutes... What the hell?!! The price tag wasn't bad, $35 each, however, my feet ended up feeling WORSE than when I walked in! My husband said the same thing, so I know it's not just me being ridiculous... it's those cheese graters they use on your feet and don't check to see if it's smoothed out after they've shaved half of your heel off! Oh, no worries! It's not like we're both on our feet for 8 hours a day at our jobs... *eye roll* read more

Well what can I say, I love this place! I have been going here for YEARS! Henry is THE BEST! He takes his time, does a great job and is friendly, professional and so talented. I've been coming here for almost a year and have been satisfied every time, up until my recent visit. The wait was reasonable (10 minutes) but once I got sat down..long story short, it was the quickest full set I've ever experienced. Now I've done my nails quite enough to know the process and w my full set, it wasn't anything I've experienced. I'm happy w my nails but the service was just mind blowing. I wasn't even offered anything to drink when everyone around me were getting offers, and special treatment when I was being treated poorly. I understand it was busy and ppl who came in had appointments but to my defense, I had one as well. Maybe you have to be a frequent customer to get treated well. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came in and was directed to a young gentleman. As I sat down I had thoroughly explained what I wanted. As he started the process of doing my fill, he messed up my middle finger badly. It was crooked and pointing to the left. He fixed that, however, as he was fixing the nail he had cut my finger in the process and my cuticle was bleeding for 5 minutes. He was rushing and seemed like he didn't care about his job whatsoever. I had asked for a discount because he did a horrible job. It's been 3 days and my pinky nail already broke off!! I will NEVER be coming back to this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone read more

The massage pedicure chair was the best part of the place. The pedicure I received was less than ok. I walked out looking like I needed a polish fill in. There was at least a 1/8 inch gap of unpainted toe nail on several toes. The tech actually cut the skin on my big toe to the point of bleeding. It was definitely not worth the $55 they charged me before the tip. read more

I went in today for an acrylic soak off and a manicure i definitely didn't receive either one of those things. Henry the manicurist rushed through the entire process my nails were not soaked what so ever and used an acrylic tip to literally pop of my nails causing them to become much more damaged. Before him doing so I expressed that we're were hurting he did so anyway , continuing on with the manicure he did the bare MINIMUM I could tell with his mannerisms and attitude he simply just didn't want to do my nails. When I realized the was glue and parts of the acrylic nail still there I mentioned it and he only corrected it on two nails. When realized that this was the terrible service I gonna received I asked to get a simply white color for my nails , which enhanced the bumps and acrylic/glue debris and asked to change it to just clear. He stopped and I asked that I pay right then and there and didn't proceed until I tipped , I tipped over 30% hoping that it give him the motivation to do a decent job which I didn't although It make him more more polite and decided to offer my water and give me compliments. I'm very unhappy with this service and felt that it was prejudice because im a woman of color. Will not be coming back!!!! read more

This place is horrible. Me and my girl went on Thursday's afternoon. What a shit hole. Dead bugs in the restroom. The asshole they did my nails didn't listen to a word I said. I can't wait to get them redone. My pink and whites look like crap. The shape is horrible. They are square, fat and thick. The guy that did my nails was very rude and rough. Do not go there. This place should not exist. Maybe it was just my tech. He was AWFUL. PUSHY RUDE AND SUCKS AT WHAT HE DOES. It was the fastest pedi I ever had as well. 15 minutes max and I was charged $25. What a waste of time and money. read more

This was again yet another disappointment. ... Set an appointment after waiting 45 min. ..I was finally sat at a table to get my nails done but not by the person I set the appointment with. After getting reminding them who I had the appointment with they ignored me and continued to work on my nails after chipping my nail and being completely rough he then tells me to not be so tense. After giving me the color of good choice because I did not get the color I choose I told him it was not the color he said it would be too thick. .. And left it at that. I said ok.... He finished then he charged me.. Giving himself...a zero tip ..I said I was going to give you a5 dollar tip he said no thank you....I said well that's rude ... What ever paid and left. No lotion message nothing... Mean while the whole time the lady I had the appointment with took someone else and I could hear her talking about me the whole time... As her and the person she was working on were looking over at me...... This is not the first time I was disappointed by this place.. I stopped going there and decided to give them another try.... Not again.... read more

First Choice Nails - My nails r amazing. - Nail Salons Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

Let's say this is not my first choice! I did the dipping powder manicure and let's say it's supposed to be healthier but the way they do it is certainly not! I've had dipping powder before and it doesn't ruin your nails like the no chip. Let's say this one ruined all my nails because first they all cracked so they redid it and added 2 more layers and then a no chip top coat! Omg horribly thick. Not to mention they use their machine and kill your cuticles! Stay away from this place! My nails now look horrible and are weak and brittle when the dipping powder is supposed to help! I'll be sticking to places only I know who do this properly! read more

Ive been coming here for awhile, but when Bryan came he made it more enjoyable every visit. To the review with Juliet.. I was a client being serviced at the time. And It's sad that she would say that negative of a false comment.. she caused the fight her herself by throwing a bottle of lotion at the client she was fighting and doing more other childish things like throw the clients purse as well As elbowing her while she was sitting down. Cops came and told her to calm down and the owner was nice enough to let her stay and finish her nails if she would relax. But at the end she wouldn't so he had no choice to refuse service to her in the future at his business which I don't blame him because she scared away customers when she acted out. The whole statement about running the works like salves and the coke was just so outrageous, before and even now this place had conducted legit business for over 15 years. Please future clients this shop treats everyone like gold. She just wanted to stain this business because she knows she lost a great nail salon which is hard to find I vegas now. I trust Bryan with my nails and toes any time! And everyone in there is amazing they work hard to please everyone! read more

I apologize in advance for the novel. I found this nail salon on Yelp and it seemed like it had pretty good reviews so I decided to give it a go. I called to make an appointment for 3pm for a pedicure and the lady on the phone said okay and hung up the phone without asking my name or anything. I thought that was kinda strange. So I showed up right at 3. This other lady and I walked in at the same exact time. She got to the desk before me and I heard her ask if they had time to give her a pedicure, they said yes and told her to pick a color (which obviously she didn't make an appointment). I then told the lady at the desk that I have an appointment for 3. She said okay and showed me the gel colors. The other lady and I both sat down at the same time in the pedicure chairs. And a nail technician came over and started to do her nails first which wouldn't of bothered me except it took 15-20 minutes before anyone came over to do my nails.... The guy didn't say hi or anything just asked me what kind of pedicure I wanted. I told him the $35 "deluxe" pedicure and told him the color I wanted. The entire time he seemed very rushed. My pedicure took about 15 maybe 20 minutes for him to do. When he got to the massage part he was doing a poor job and rushing. I asked him very nicely if he could please massage me a little bit harder because I work on my feet and they are very sore. Which he still didn't do and on the poster that explains the "deluxe" pedicure it says 6 extra minutes for massage. My "massage" was only 4 minutes in total. Which was kind of annoying. Then he said I was done and walked away without saying bye or anything. He started doing someone else's nails right away. Which makes sense of why he was rushing because that was probably an appointment he had. Note the lady I walked in with was still getting her pedicure and she started 15 minutes before me. So I walk to the desk to pay and the lady asks the guy who did my nails how much money to charge me and he says $55?!?!? I told the lady that I received the $35 pedicure and that you guys charge 20 dollars for gel polish??? Note I had removed the gel polish from my feet before coming in and I had no designs done. And she says so rudely yep that's what he said its 55 dollars. So I repeated you guys charge 20 dollars for gel polish? With such an attitude she says its 55 dollars okay?? So I paid the 55 dollars and for the first time in my life I left without tipping! I was so annoyed! Your going to give me a half a** pedicure and then charge me $55!!! I've had amazing pedicures in way nicer and cleaner salons for way cheaper! read more

So I am posting this review due to my experience at this salon. You can judge for yourself. As I am a new resident down here in GV, I haven't found a salon that I would like to call my own. Having gone to a few slain around town, I decided to walk into First Choice. Before I went to the salon, I call in first to see how busy the place was and to explain that wanted gel color change on my hands and feet. The young lady on the phone told me $25 for feet and hands and I thought I'll give it a whirl. I was greeted by no one at the reception desk upon entering. Some random employee told me to "choose color". After looking through all the colors, apparently my nail tech approached me and I told him no mani no pedi, just gel. He said "yes". I was seated and I noticed he was running the water and I explained to him once again no mani no pedi just gel. The tech filed my nails, to the point where he was working for a tip. I wasn't explained the whole process, I'm at the salon, it's a relaxing experience for me. Once he removed the gel, he applied the gel polish like I wanted. He attempted to massage my feet upon my request not to, in my mind he was tying to pamper me working for a tip. After that we went over to the nails. He stated to prep my nails, attempting to even them out, removing the left over gel polish. Then he started to remove my cuticles and than I began to get concerned that I was going to be charged for something I didn't want in the first place. At this point, I knew that he was going to charge me. He was rushing me out the door, due to the closing time. I paid the $75 and on top I gave a $7 tip. I am a very generous person and didn't want to feel like a complete jerk. Once I got home, I looked at the job done and had buyers remorse. I was so disappointed with the quality of job and the price isn't reflective. The nails were missed shaped, rough edges, the gel overlapped the cuticles. At this point I was completely frustrated so I gave the salon a call. When I called, I asked for a manager and the lady on line told me that he had left for the day in a very panicked tone. I explained the situation to her and she was very defensive, upon asking her name she refused. I mentioned Yelp to this lady and the phone was handed off to another gentlemen. Once he got on the phone he came off very aggressive to me. To remedy the situation he want to review the surveillance cameras and speak to the nail tech. To end the conversation he rushed my name and number because his kids were waiting for him. I told him not to worry and not prolong this issue and he'll hear from me on Yelp. It was just a different experience and I felt like my voice need to be heard. Order forms at the salon would help out any confusion between customer and employer. It saddens me I have to go to lengths like this, but it wasn't an enjoyable experience. Thanks read more
